You're unsure if I am a loose end or a strand
that waits for you to mend or understand
A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness."
~ D.H. Lawrence

"Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?"

"Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost."
~ Seneca

"People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect."
~ Daydream Nation

"All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death."
~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes

"The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road."
~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita

"It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend."
~ William Blake

Stuff. WAAAAAAY too much stuff
Tuesday, March 6, 2007
We have a ton of junk around my house. It bothers me.... but my family is just like that. Messy.

I live in a pink country. :0

This is our ugly, messy, crap filled backyard. Notice the three old birdcages. :P

My mom likes cats. And she also likes teapots. So she collects them... (teapots, not cats)

Yeah so those are the few pictures I took today.

Today in Chem we got to see things get dipped in liquid nitrogen. And then Doc Rock was talking about this rose... was like "the shattered rose" and me and Alice were like "OMG so emo!" (Damn I sound like a girly retard)

We were going to write an emo Chem poem, but we somehow lost the inspiration. :/ So no more masterpieces like the Chem Loveletter. :(

I think my new favorite song is "Bodies" by Drowning Pool...

Les filles classique
Monday, March 5, 2007
I have no idea what "the classic girls" is supposed to mean, but it's in "Playboy" by Plastic Bertrand. :P

There was one thing I saw today that really made going to the crappy dollar store worthwhile.

The crackers are shaped like mailmen. How great is that? And the french at the bottom, roughly translated, means "These humans are good for dogs".

There really is no point to this picture, but I have an odd fascination with number stickers...

In other news, my iPod is messed up and I can't fix it. :'(

Same old, same old

Well there were a few bits of today that are worth mentioning, I suppose.

In Lit the teacher was talking about mistakes in people's essays. One of them was "foreign lovers are described as being bashful and conservative". This led him to discuss Pepe le Peu *is that how you spell it?* and Italy. He explained to us that when walking down a street in Italy, one must be careful or one will get one's butt pinched if one is female.

In Chem the annoying boy behind me poked me until I turned around, then said "you have nasty gum". I told him that he had been warned, but did he care? Noooooo....

In P.E. we had a written basketball test. I actually knew more than I realized... and I thought I was screwed before... :P After everyone was done the teacher said "Okay, now let's have a breakdancing competition! [boy's name], you go first!" (Yes, this is true.) The boy was too embarrassed to do anything though, so the teacher just dismissed us early.

I just saw the weirdest ad...

"It's a brand new year...."

"Spend it with 39 half naked models!"

W....t.....f.....?

Anyway.

Mad Croc
Thursday, March 1, 2007
Well I got some energy gum yesterday and today was the test run.

Two words: Tasted awful.

It was spearmint flavored, but after that went away it was almost unbearable. I think the caffiene had a weird effect on me.... while I was chewing the gum I felt all giggly and stuff... like the first day of school. (Although things were different this year)

My gum also got the two idiots who sit behind me and Alice in Chem hyper. God. They were screaming and stuff.... and then they started complaining about the horrible aftertaste. I TOLD them it was nasty, but did they listen? NOOOOO....

The zipper to my jacket keeps mysteriously heading south. Perhaps gravity is working extra hard today. :P

I finished most of my homework at school today (major accomplishment pour moi ;P) so.... almost no homework! :D Except for History, which is one of my least favorite classes.

DC was alone for a little while at Lunch. It was both cute and sad, because he looked all lost with his football tucked under his arm. :)

My entries are getting more boring...,
