You know, I always thought it was "sherbert". But apparently, according to Alice, it's "sherbet".

I spent five hours yesterday trying to contemplate the meaning of this. And no, I'm not kidding. I can spend five hours musing over a letter I always thought existed in a word.

Thankfully I didn't lose my mind, although I was close...

I looked it up in the dictionary, and it can be both ways.

Also, I found out that gummyworms have gelatin in them... which means no more gummyworms for me. :/ I need to find some vegan gummyworms or something. And I need to start checking ingredient labels for gelatin too.

Some guy in a car made a pass at me while I was walking home from Alice's.

Now, I'm not sure how to take this.

I figure it's one of two options:

A) The guy is a jackass and does this for fun
B) He has bad eyesight

I know I take self pictures but overall I don't think I'm good-looking. And what kind of pervert hits on teenage girls in the semi-suburbs for real? Had to be a joke.

Anyway...

An amusing glass Alice wanted me to buy at Goodwill.

We went to the petstore a shop down from Goodwill after that.

Now I want a bunny.

My sixth grade teacher had a bunny named Pookie... and he was the cutest thing ever. He was one of those small little dwarf bunnies and he was just adorable.

I wish I had a bunny. I think I'll get a bunny when I have my own place. :D

My Lit. teacher read my poem to the class.

Boy, I was burning up when that was happening. It sounds so amateur when he reads it. :/ It was okay in the end though, I suppose. Mainly what he read it for was because he thinks it's great and it helped teach us about enjambment. And apparently we're supposed to know what that means. :S

No interest in DC today. Somehow I've just gotten over him. No idea why at all. But now I'm slightly focusing my attentions on someone else...

Oh yeah, and Alice asked me to marry her. (As a joke, come on, you know we're never serious about that kind of thing, right?)

She was getting stuff from her locker and was kneeling, and I was standing, so she just took the opportunity to say "Will you marry me?"

Of course I had to respond in kind.

"Yes!" I said. "I've waited for this day so long!"

We burst out laughing.

Then I pointed out that she was kneeling on both knees, which was wrong, and so, for that, I rejected her. :P

Silly us.

I have a suspicion that he likes me, or else he wouldn't keep talking to me. But he keeps telling me he DOESN'T think I'm attractive... which is fine...
