You're unsure if I am a loose end or a strand
that waits for you to mend or understand
A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness."
~ D.H. Lawrence

"Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?"

"Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost."
~ Seneca

"People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect."
~ Daydream Nation

"All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death."
~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes

"The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road."
~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita

"It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend."
~ William Blake

Yeah, the late pictures are... late.

Sunset on Friday.

I was walking with Angie and she was like "oh, take a picture!"

We went to THE most awesome park here and played on the playground.

Way epic picture, I know.

The napkin of language.

How to conjugate "to be" in lolcat.

Credits to Sophia.

And another message from her.

But what could be better than scribbling on napkins?

Let's see... Alice was going to come over today for dinner but then her mom planned something else so she couldn't.

I slept for a while because I had nothing else to do.

Now I have a headache. :|

Kiwi and obese monkey
Sunday, May 25, 2008
Alice has a small collection of stuffed animals on her bed. She has a dog or rabbit named Kiwi that we were looking at last night.

I stayed at her house until almost 2 AM. X|

Her mom came and said Alice needed to go to sleep so I had to leave. I probably shouldn't have stayed so long, anyway.

When I got home the front light was on but everyone was asleep. I let myself in, brushed my teeth, and fell asleep pretty quickly...

Her party was fun. We played Scrabble and stuff, and ate pizza. She had three cakes. There was a vegan vanilla one layer cake, a tofu cheesecake, and a vegan chocolate fruit tart sort thing. Maybe it was just vegan chocolate cake with fruit on it... I dunno.

She gave out giftcards as party favors. I got a Barnes and Noble one. :P

We're supposed to hang out again today, but I want to wait until my parents get home to actually do anything...

I'm hungry. :|

Evil Bible

Dwindling in Unbelief

Skeptic's Annotated Bible

:P

My, but there are many sites about this topic.

This CD is not going so well. Possibly because I'm not really working on it.

Okay... so I figure maybe a minimalist design is the best way to go. :|

Oh noses, the bottomless pit hath returned!
Wednesday, May 21, 2008

When I was younger I was always hungry, so people would say I had a bottomless pit for a stomach.

Well, I had three pieces of toast, a bowl of pasta, water, honeydew, and a cucumber, and now I'm hungry again. And I just ate those like half an hour ago! :(

Ach.
