A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

Drawing it was based on: (I'm of the opinion that the drawing was much better) As you can see, the bear doesn't look quite as nice as a doll. Oh well. Eyes should be spaced apart more next time... --- Here's Romeo being adorable. He's so cute when he's fat. :0 --- How long have you been a Nutanger? What kind of blogger would you consider yourself? Have you ever been attacked by bears? What about other animals dressed up as bears? 1. Are you Asian in any way? 2.You dislike anything popular along anime/manga. You dislike anime/manga because it is popular or because it is Asian, or both? 3. What is The International Club of Sex Muffin Extraordinaires? 4-15. [Your questions here!] ---- It's cold in my house. :( ---Edit--- I'm a little weirded out that You've Got To is in a Gogurt commercial. I mean, good for them, they're getting publicity, but it's like... if I say I like the song people might be like "oh, you mean the one in the commercial! Yeah I liked it when I heard it too!" Eh. --- I still find it fun to type random things into the search bar. When I find something pointless and random I feel rather accomplished. :P Example: fwoop.com Comment! (5) | Recommend! | Categories: Drawings [t] I made something Saturday, October 11, 2008 I felt like sewing yesterday night. Actually, I felt specifically like making a stuffed animal. So I did. Yep. I might make more. Varsha' birthday's coming up so chances are I'll give her that one. (I kinda told her yesterday while I was making it) It doesn't quite look like the drawing, but it's okay. My mom showed me (a little sloppily...) how to do certain things, but mostly I did it myself. The arms came out really stubby. ---Edit--- How long have you been a Nutanger? What about other animals dressed up as bears? 1. Are you Asian in any way? 2 -15. [These could be your questions!] Nutang's faster now, you have one less excuse. :P --- The teachers' Homecoming skit was today. It was.... interesting... I didn't really want to watch it but there wasn't anything else to do so I ended up going with Angie and watching most of it. At the end I walked around, came back, got bored again, and listened to my iPod. Some male staff members. I couldn't see their faces. Moles. (-Groan-) Tomorrow we have a rally. (Joyfulness) So, that means a long Brunch for me. --- I'm starting to wonder if I could maybe just buy like, a lampshade or something and spray paint it to make the cup of the muffin. Or I could glue stuff to the outside to make it look more like a muffin cup and then paint it... I dunno. It's sad, I'm having this many issues with just the bottom and I think the top is really what's going to get me. --- I spilled orange juice on the floor this morning and it looked like a monster worm thing. And yeah, the first thing I thought of was to take a picture, not to clean it up. :P --- Mm, I rarely do this but I need to think about what I've got ahead of me... To do list: -Make costume -Put together senior ad w/ Angie, Lucy, Varsha -Get interview together -Think of something to do for when I hit the $100 mark -Send transcript + stuff to St. John's, HPU? -Look for a job They're not really in order of priority... ---Edit--- Oh, I finally made something for TICoSME. If any of you actually remember it. :P --- Congratulations, you suck at parking. Comment! (8) | Recommend! Not much to do, not much to say Wednesday, October 8, 2008 Fourteen more questions to go, excluding the standards, which I will indeed answer. So there's the length of membership, kind of blogger, and bear attacks questions. (I seriously think this one would be good :D) And Nuttz's question, which I realized actually did make sense. At the time I was confused though. Just... one of those times where you don't get stuff. 1. Are you Asian in any way? 2 -15. [These could be your questions!] --- You guys wanna see what I've been "working" on? Left: First attempt Middle: Second attempt Right: What seems to be the best cup so far Yeah, gaze at the magnificence of my muffin costume models. They all look like crap, I know. I've got nothing to use as a reference point, and I haven't built anything in several years, give me a break. I know I shouldn't eavesdrop on Scruffy's conversations but it's kinda hard not to when he's standing right next to me. I don't find whatever he's saying particularly amusing in itself but the voices he does are... interesting. Entertaining. Yes, let's go with that. Voice-wise he can't compare to DC though. --- Come on guys! Give me your questions! (Is it just 'cause Nutang is being slow? Is that it?) --- Comment! (2) | Recommend! | Categories: Drawings [t] Add-ons later maybe Tuesday, October 7, 2008 Comment! (1) | Recommend! I'm working on my costume... Monday, October 6, 2008 Comment! (1) | Recommend! | Categories: Drawings [t] Okay, so about that interview Sunday, October 5, 2008 I guess someone doesn't have to IM me, you guys can just submit questions and I'll answer them to the best of my ability... There should probably be a limit, though. Shall we say fifteen? (I actually doubt I'll even get that many, but you're welcome to ask multiple questions...) --- Pictures from today! Varsha, hard at work. A guy came over and said he'd put us down for a bonus because we were working so hard. But then I was trying to clean off my broom and she was using her broom to try and brush off mine, and he came over and I guess it looked like we were playing, so he said "okay, no more bonus." I think he was kidding anyway. We both made $97.50. :D She was laughing when we were waiting for my mom to pick us up. The first task they gave us was to walk to the farmers' market and give out postcards. We did that, and saw this cool-looking shop called Infiniti. It was closed though. So we went across the street and got smoothies. After the festival ended we walked back to Infinit and looked inside. It's cool on the inside too, but jeez is everything expensive. I saw a jacket that was $150. Maybe I'm rich compared to before, but I still can't afford that... I saw a really cool messenger bag that I would've liked in black, though. Los Gatos. It's very upscale compared to our area. And there are a lot of white people. And a lot of dogs.... Around five-ish we picked up Lucy and Angie and went to find a dress for Lucy to wear to the Homecoming dance. My mom drove us to Marshall's first. There wasn't anything good there, but we did have some fun. No idea what she's supposed to be but we just kept piling on the clothes. :P Since Marshall's didn't have anything we went to Macy's. Lucy found something she liked there, and I saw a girl I used to babysit. (But I didn't say anything to her...) When Lucy was changing we sat in the dressing room to the left of hers and talked about random stuff. Like Moosemi. (That's moose-em-eye) Varsha thinks that moosemi are hilarious. I think it's amusing at best. When we were walking back from the farmers' market we saw some place called "The Indian Store" or something, which was actually Native American themed. They had moccasins that were "made from moose," so I said "they're made from moose! D:" (last part just shows the expression, I didn't say 'colon d!'). Then Varsha said "you mean meese." And I said "the plural of meese is my." We left the store and I told her that the plural of octopus is octopi, so the plural of moose is moosemi. It was a spur of the moment joke thing... One of those three-panel hinged mirrors at Macy's. I think it looks cool... Comment! (3) | Recommend!
