Can't you see what you've done to my heart and soul?
this is a wasteland now
A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness."
―D.H. Lawrence

"Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?"

"Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost."
―Seneca

"People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect."
―Daydream Nation

"All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories — if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death."
―The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes

“The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road.”
― Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita

Who is this seventeen year old boy commenting on my Xanga?

Why does he want to know about me?

How did he find my Xanga in the first place?

Here's an... interesting... picture.

\

At the local mall there's a maternity wear shop called "Pea in the Pod"
I asked my mom "so, the baby is the pea and the mom is the pod?"
She said yes.
"But what are the other peas?"

Forced volunteering!
Tuesday, December 19, 2006
Woohoo! Well okay it wasn't really bad.

See my mom told me yesterday that I was going to be helping out at a homeless shelter and I was like "WHAT?!?!" Normally I wouldn't have a big problem with this, but it was very short notice. I mean, what if I had had plans or something today? That would probably have screwed them up!

Well...... I wrapped presents for three and a half hours.

Here are some pictures, though none of them are related to my volunteer activity.

It's Romeo! And Ducky!

Okay so when we were driving to the shelter place we were in the back of the van and just watching the people behind us, right? (Me and my friend Gwenny) Well, there was this guy in sunglasses and I was just randomly talking about him. Then I got some sunglasses of my own and put them on and copied his every move. It was funny. We only realized later that he could actually see us. Hehe.

"Not so smart now that I have sunglasses too huh? HUH?"

Here's a picture of Gwenny. She had one of those ugly puffy jackets, and the hood could come off, so we unzipped it and she just wore the hood. :P

This is Cici. My pretty, picture perfect parakeet. :)

Don't cry. I know you'll all miss my Davey banner EVER so much.

I'm working on a new one. And no, it isn't the one that I had up for a very brief time when I was messing with my layout.

Thinking about maybe adding some other people to it. Or just have bands or something. Or maybe I won't put another picture up at all.

I could have something that isn't related to music, but seeing as music is such a big thing for me, that's probably not going to happen.

Here is a comic to make up for this boring entry.

I GOT A SHE WANTS REVENGE T-SHIRT FROM HOT TOPIC!!!!!!!!!!

YAY!!!!!!!!!

I'm happy, can you tell?

ANYway.....

We went shopping. Got a TON of stuff, and I'm not kidding. Unfortunately, I did not bring my camera so there aren't any pictures for you.

I think my mom must've spent like $500... seriously. Mostly we just got gifts for people and stuff, but I got my shirt, and some fingerless gloves (yay!) with broken hearts on them. They're a bit big but I'm hoping that won't be a problem. I can always return them though.

Whenever I go into a store with *certain* hats I get flooded with bad memories. :/ It's an old crush thing..... but Hot Topic has that kind of hat so I always feel uncomfortable in that section of the store.

Note: He didn't have that exact hat. Just the same style.

Oh well.

Here is a comic. Enjoy.
