I managed to solve the problem with my colleague [read previous entry].

It was not pleasant at the beginning because she was telling me how she works when I hinted your table is a little 'hard to read' and then she was flaming unconsciously about how tedious my table is and the worst thing she kept the most viable information from me: my boss likes reading data in table format. I almost strangle her in a cool manner when I heard that. I was just wondering why the heck she didn't tell me yesterday when I showed her my sample. And she really think I would let two kinds of format for my boss to read. Ha. Ha. She just didn't know I'm the next Wu Ze Tian in real life.

I approached her in the morning telling her - I mean business - we are going to combine our information as an end-product and demanded to see her table. I look at the table and was about to tell her 'Hey you know what I modified the table, why don't you tell me what ya think?" she was already criticizing my table [read the above]. I just kept quiet and listened to her droning that she will only perfects the table when she finishes inputing all data and trying to sell her idea that her table style is the "best in the market". I folded the paper of my new table and walked back to my table and designed my own table. And I seeked second opinion from Jolenesiah.

I actually didn't feel insulted or hurt but I just find the way she explained herself is really bullshit. When you show your incomplete work to a partner, of course, try explaining what would it be like when you finally finish and ask your partner for opinions because that's what called teamwork. And I don't like people giving me bullshit about how bad is other people's work when you are not giving constructing opinions on improving it. I want to hear and know why, how and what we can do to improve; not listening to you saying how noxious my work is.

She took a look at my table because I asked her to and finally she agreed that my table is easier to read. I released my breath out loud silently. And I told her off my way of working is to envision how I want my work to be and think FIRST how I want to interpret the data unlike you. And then laterI found out her table was 'so like that' because she didn't know how to interpret the data so she just input the data just because she didn't want to waste time. I shot her back "THEN WHY CONTINUE?" I just didn't add "It would just be a waste of time if you don't know how to interpret in the first place".

Oh well, we are all good now. That's the most important thing. I'm very relieved that I don't need to bring up this petty issue to my boss; it would just be my weakness. And thank god for giving me the wisdom for the table 'coz I got a vision of the table while chanting this morning.

I officially got an assignment from my boss which was specifically forwarded to me. It's very rare for my junior boss and say "Can I speak to renaye?" I was so shocked when I got the call from her. I usually jumped on the end of the phone because I thought my internet surfing got busted since I checked out on manga, anime, and hang out at forums everyday .. and what's more I did download some songs. Oops.

Today I partnered myself with another colleague who being yawning "This is so BORING" to do the assignment with me. The whole day she was repeating she didn't get what's the assignment about and I was elated to get the assignment... and so I worked on it. And seriously after I did a sample... I regretted for my actions because ....

At the beginning...

We were dicussing how do we want to interpret the data into the A4 paper and somehow I gave her a rough idea and I was suggesting we should put some pictures too because boss likes pictures and she went 'HUH, for what?' Ok. Fair enough. Then I suggested we should include some geography pictures and then she became irritated, tsktsk. Ok ok fair enough because I thought boss wanted those info for some analysis so pictures are not important. But wait a minute .. we do have geography politics....

Never mind. I draw out some plans about how I wanted to interpret the data and she said she understood. I also suggested that we should include header too to make it look neat and easier to differentiate information but she kept on going 'Huh? For what???!!! Later someone will make noise.' And I know who but then it's for boss not personal, so it's ok. But then I felt irritated because I want to make it look neat. I'm a freaking perfectionist person. So I suggested let's type first and let junior boss to see if that's what big boss wanted. We agreed.

We were typing and I peeped on her work and at the sight of it, I hated it. She made it into tables and it was messy; there was no bold, italic whatsoever to differentiate the location and the numbers; and the most important the years since we are working on 2 years's data. I went to print mine and show her how I did it. I told this is what I did: the data is not in table form but easy to read because of ample space and NEAT. She flashed me a disliking face and said "I cannot do this format because it gives me headache." It was not showing her for fun I was expecting her to do the same since our information will be combined at the end of the day and it's my assignment. I became reclusive after what she said because I was mad and I don't want my emotions to control me, and I know her damn temper. She got into a brief quarrel with a former colleague when he was just trying to hint to stop the bullying from another colleague. Isn't that stupid?

I dreaded to see her work tomorrow because it's not what I wanted and I don't want to tell her that the work is not neat and it's hard to read. And she copied me doing all those italics thingy after looking at my sample.

I'm going to let boss to see my work but I don't want to ask boss which format he prefers because it will show my weakness in leading a group. But at the same time I don't want to be a 'bitch' but what's there to be a bitch if I'm just telling her about her work. Yea... this is about a different topic: about why some people can't prepare a neat work even their language sucks especially punctuations.

I will just prepare myself for whatever may happen tomorrow. Worse come to worse, I will take on this assignment with my table lamp as my sole companion.

I got a sudden surge of desire to watch anime again after 6 months of hiatus. The last episode I watched was Monster episode 70. It was just too exciting and I cannot bear to continue watching it because I just don't want it to end. I guess that partly explains why it took me a few years to finish watching an anime.

What revives my interest in watching is after reading a quite detail description of Code Geass's characters on wikipedia. I concluded the anime is worth watching and no wonder it won the award for anime of the year. The storyline is just so gripping. I could just imagine what kind of anime it is by just reading the descriptions. It's just an awesome anime.

Another anime I feel like watching all over again is Ai no Kusabi. For you who don't know what anime it is, it's a yaoi anime. In other words, it's a gay anime. I don't really watch yaoi anime but this is one of the best I have ever seen because it's not only all about sex but it comes with a good storyline. Another yaoi anime that I quite enjoy is Enzai something something. Don't really remember the name.

Apart of yaoi anime, I also read yaoi manga out of boredom. Some contain explicit sex but some has very good storyline such as the Boys Next Door [if I get the name right].

I might yen for anime but it doesn't mean I will watch it. And that's very typical of this lazing cat. ~~YAWN~~

I have been looking for some counter attack opinions on a recent news which I heard it from my colleagues with my eyes bulging. Last week my colleagues who are living in the territory of Selangor were overjoyed because the new Chief Minister of that area recently declared of awarding free 20 cubic metre water to all residents. I went silent for a few moments because I could not believe this ridiculous news and I could not help myself for controlling for not slapping my colleagues who were so damn happy about this freebie. I just looked askance at their antics. I was speechless. And the one who discriminate me for not voting the opposition was suddenly in the mode of Mary Poppins- kicking her heels and wiping the dust off the office wallies - boasting the good news to the other colleagues [me and another girl]. And then she laughed at it, overjoying that the opposition is finally doing things that benefit the rakyat [citizens].

Meanwhile, my head just went silent because these colleagues of mine are just too dumb to understand the real issue out there other than being on cloud nine in their little world. (I wanted to use some harsher words to describe them but man .... they too have Buddhahood.. [ARGH!!!]) Even they know they don't realise that we are all connected. That's why scholars and scientists kept on saying that because we want to fulfil our own desire like buying car but we don't want the pollution attribute to the car-making to be at our backyard, the car manufacturer exports the pollution to another country and thus creating environmental issues and to the extent of degrading air quality overall [a rough example and it may not be accurate but you got the idea?]. I'm so kinda fed up to explain to them that the current news is not good news but indeed bad news. Bad news to the environment, not humans unfortunately and unfortunately environment is considered as 'non-living' to the majority, they don't and won't feel any effects. I'm not going to drone with that.

But my point here is there are many other things that could be beneficial to the rakyat despite paying hefty taxes but giving free resources that are finite is not one of the benefits but in fact pushing it to the edge of peril. It will only strengthen scenario of tragedy of commons [if you don't know what's this, try googling] because majority of Malaysians never appreciate things; some can't even always finish their food like my colleague even they knew food is very precious! Malaysians love freebies. Do you think we would save water? We will just splurge because we can and basically we have just awarded the license to do so. Another grave concern of mine is the news has indirectly enhanced people's thinking that environmental resources are infinite where the real scenario is they are diminishing at an alarming rate beyond scientists prediction. In my opinion, we should be given the incentive to be more water thrifty so we could work in line with the world's calling for zero-waste community.

I don't really know what's all about this water project between Selangor and Pahang [neighbour state] but it seems we get our water supply from Pahang. A friend of mine was also shocked from the news because he was thinking out loud what will happen to the people of Pahang when we basically just got the license to use water excessively.

And thank god, the President of Water Watch Penangwrote into the local newspaper about this. I fully agreed with his opinion; I'm thinking of writing in my opinion into the newspaper. But first I need to gather my scattered thoughts first.

I had a fun day today because 3 people said I'm young and I look like a student. Haha. I'm just so sweeeeeeeeet.

In the morning, I went to get some free lunches advertised by someone on facebook. Given I love freebies, I agreed to meet this person and check out their free lunches. And it turned out to be a Herbalife product: soy protein powder. I tried something like that before by a competitor but Herbalife's taste good. And the lunch was kinda tasty because the maker used fruits, oats and chocolate powder to make the drink. It was good and it lasted me until 5-ish and I took it at 12.30 p.m. I felt energetic except for my droopy eyelids. But afterall I enjoyed today's lunch and will surely try to get the free lunch again. Oh well, I was invited to join for two more lunches. Haha. And you know what? My body result shows I have a body of a 17 year old even though I'm 22 already!

After that, I went to my tailor to collect my overdue clothes: a pants and a top. The top is so damn cute and it's replica top of some lolita designs I got from a catalogue. It was so cute; too cute to be worn. If possible I just want it to stay in m cupboard instead of wearing it. I can't show you guys the design because my webcam can't take photos. But worm worm said the cloth pattern is so old and it's like one of his grandmother's outfit. T__T. And Tiger/Jolenesiahcountered that he's outdated. Haha. My mum is all envy over my new outfit. I can't wait to wear to office!!

When I came back to my house the backgate of my apartment was not opened and so me and a few more ladies waited outside. This pregnant lady asked me if I were still a student. Haha. Because she said I looked young. And so another one asking the same thing.

Ah. I'm so young. Hahahaha. Ok people I could treat you guys to some fresh air in the garden next to my apartment!

I was happy to receive a news from my ex-collegemate that he's going to be a father in October 9, 2008. I was very happy for my friend upon reading the email. This must be so exciting for my friend! And somehow ... I already got a vision of his kid's gender and its future. I need to state it down so I could come back here and check if my foresight is accurate or not. Haha...

Other than that, some of my friends have already married last year and this year. I'm very happy for them. In fact, these married friends are college sweethearts. So sweet!! And now they are now all over the world; one couple in Poland, and many more in Japan teaching English.

I can't wait for a reunion and it would be great to see all those younger generations!!!
