Books
Books I have completed reading since January 2021:

1. The Enchanted - Rene Denfield
Date with a Tigress
Monday, March 9, 2009
I distracted Jolenesiah from her dinner by sharing my piece of mind with her with my eyes glueing to the cable tv behind me. The tv was showing some dance like cheerleaders do on ESPN. And I express my astonishment that those girls in tv could do amazing moves like triple back and forward flips or even some ballet moves on one toe, etc. She replied it's nothing amazing because cheerleaders could do that too. But then I was telling her that you don't see those girls who did those moves in ballet. It's like it's against the law of ballet. Because the girls who did those stunts are plump especially the thigh! We looked again at the tv screen and studied each participant from the university participants and discovered that every female who did those stunts, regardless of which American unviersity, are plump! Wow! Girl power! Then we started laughing and become an unofficial judge of those girls. Poor thing. We had fun doing so.

I don't mean to be mean to those girls. It's just I'm amazed. If you are offended, I'm sorry for the outcome because this conversation wasn't meant to be leaked out into the internet.

Meowing Symphony
Thursday, March 5, 2009
What the hell does the website mean by stating "online booking has been closed"? How come I don't know Sarah Brightman is having a symphony this Saturday???!! And I want to attend her works badly!!! ARGH. I miss the chance!! Oh well I might just buy the album.

Yes I'm a fan of Sarah Brightman. I like her classical songs and she's a great singer. And she has a high pitch voice, that is why I like listening to her voice.

Do you guys listen to her?

Bargaining
Monday, March 2, 2009
I was at a small pashmina stall asking for the price of a wooly poncho. The price is RM59 and the price for after discount is RM50. After listening, I told the owner I would consider because RM50 is still expensive though the poncho is very soft and comfy. I was about to walk away when he bursted with RM48. I went gaga. Then he went with RM47. I asked him if he was reducing prices and he said yes. I think he wanted to reduce more but I somehow interrupted him with "It's not I don't want to buy, but I don't have cash. Do you accept card then?" He was speechless. We smiled and walked away.

Sighed. There are times I really want to buy some thing but no money no talk.

Teardrops of Terrorism
Friday, February 27, 2009
Before my vocal teacher could inform me on the next activity organized by the school, my reaction was jumpy and repeating saying NO. Oh well, my reaction was totally not exaggerating at all because there's going to be a singing competition. And I strongly believed she was inviting me to join but she didn't try to persuade me to join after looking at my reaction.

Shortly after that, we started my singing practise on My Immortal by Evanescence. This is a song I don't really like because I can't sing this song well... Mostly because I suck at the time but there is improvement because I managed to sing this song at a slow tempo. But that's not the main attraction of this post. While singing this song, my mind trailed off to the competition. I was imagining my singing of this song in the competition. And somehow I giggled during the practise and missed out a few sentences. HAHA. I shared this imagination with the teacher. She commented I might be the next 'William Hung' with that song!! But I thought I would just end up terrorizing the audience with my singing!! So somehow I managed to persuade her to not invite me to join any competition or activities because my voice is totally not ready. And somehow I also managed to make her think that her reputation is at risk too for a student like me to go on stage. HEHE. A win win situation in conclusion.

But anyway we end up agreeing to settle on Tearsdrop on My Guitar by Taylor Swift. We both got hook on that song because the lyric is just plain sad and it's applicable to anyone, both male and female. After singing the song, we commented the song in unison with one sentence "That's just so sad."

Have you guys heard of this song before? If no, I hope you enjoy this country song.
