Speak to My Finger
Books
Books I have completed reading since January 2021:

1. The Enchanted - Rene Denfield
Manga Marathon
Friday, October 12, 2007
Wow. Today is such a relaxing day for me.

Because I have been facilitating a manga guessing game, I have been doing research on manga. So it means I need to download and read a lot of manga. The manga pictures I posted were unknown to my players. That was because I have been taking from very unheard manga but with storylines that I like. Haha. And some of them are just happened to be in my hard drive. Haha.

I posted 2 more pictures today and they were easily guessed. So today I have been downloading a few manga to read and see what pictures can be used for the game. And also been rereading old manga that I have read many years ago.

It's also a good thing as I could update the manga database in myanimelist.net.

And unbelievable that I napped for 3 hours in the afternoon. And wormx2 called me to torture with his ice cream buffet trip.

I now have lots of manga to read in my laptop. Won't feel bored during the weekends.

Selamat Hari Raya. Maaf Zahir Batin.

Punishment is on your way...
Thursday, October 11, 2007
I was in the middle of my deep sleep when my mum interrupted it in the afternoon. It was 15 minutes to 2 p.m. Quite irritated because I was so sleepy and all I wanted to do was sleep, sleep and sleep and since I was in the Raya mood and mode as well ...

Mum was freaked out in the afternoon because someone had changed the position of the shoe rack. No one has ever changed the position of the shoe rack. No one. Mum's brain gone haywire and panic fumes her head. She asked me why would the shoe rack position been changed. Why would the shoe rack suddenly been so near to the grill door... as if I were some CCTV. I don't know.

I just said our house has been targeted by some idiots. But why the shoe rack? You want to break into my house with a shoe rack? Gosh .. that was what I was thinking when I woke up.

Mum talked to the neighbours. The neighbour on the end of my unit reported to my mum that someone has been stealing her husband's shoes. On the phone mum said nothing on the shoe rack has been stolen. I was just scratching my head. Would someone deliberately pull the shoe rack if nothing is interested on the rack? And what made the person not stealing anything?

I came home today and was quite relieved to hear mum saying "Nothing was stolen." The crime scene was untouched. Mum was pointing to the shoe rack and its proximity to the rack. When I laid my eyes on the rack my hiking shoes was missing.

MY HIKING SHOES WAS MISSING.

I was not really sad or in some gloomy emotions. I just feel what a waste of stealing my shoes. And thank god it's just NZD 13.90 from some shoe warehouse. In spite of that, it doesn't mean I would close one eye on stealing.

We all know STEALING is a crime. Who says that? Society and me because someone who loves us very much worked very hard to give us the money to fulfill our needs. And whoever is that person came to my house took away the gift and money my parents gave me. And that IS a crime itself.

Been murdered again and again...
Tuesday. 10.9.07 12:49 am
I started playing Last Chaos back after a long hiatus because it was just plain boring. All you do is kill and kill monsters to level up. A friend of mine in the game has reached up level 30 while my level is 19. Yes pathetic 19 and my healer character is leveling up much faster than my sexy sorcerer. Stupid sorcerer.

Because I was bored last friday, I played it again. Yea...

I have been playing these few days and I realised I have became a target for people to murder in the game for no reason. On Saturday, I was just running on the ground and somehow this stupid Human character swung his big axe on me and I died. What did I do? I was just standing and enjoying the river view. That's it. The next murder was my character running into the place of werewolf and this bloody rogue attacked me from behind. Coward. And I thought she must have accidentally hit me. Then I realised she was actually trying to kill me. So I ran back to the market place for shelter.

Last night I played again and was murdered again. My character was just sitting under a tree with my pet drake so that I could go to the restroom and found my character lying limblessly on the ground when I returned. This is stupid.

Stupid because I'm a bloody member of a guild called PEACEMAKER. Maybe that's why they killed me.

Boring
Saturday, October 6, 2007
Today is pretty boring after my aunt left to retreat to her own home.

I decided to do some data input data for the other nutang account. Done pretty much except I need jolenesiah to appear online.

We ate durian mooncakes this morning. Luckily mum took out the mooncakes because they are going to expire next Wednesday.

Decided to work on my short story. Tried to do some personality research and thought it was a hassle so ended up doing a test on what kind of thinker I am. The results is:

The Renaissance ideal

The leading thinkers of the Renaissance were not just experts in their own field. The renaissance scholar was expected to master all branches of knowledge.

With his insatiable desire to know everything, Leonardo da Vinci is often held up as the ideal Renaissance man.

You are an Intrapersonal thinker.

Intrapersonal thinkers:
Spend a lot of time thinking about and trying to understand themselves
Reflect on their thoughts and moods, and work to improve them
You understand how your behaviour affects your relationships with others

Like intrapersonal thinkers, Leonardo worked hard to improve all aspects of himself.

Other Intrapersonal thinkers include
Sigmund Freud, Gandhi, Grahame Greene

Careers which suit Intrapersonal Thinkers include
Psychologist, Teacher, Pilot, Child care worker, Explorer, Drama therapist

Summer Psychic
Friday. 10.5.07 12:07 pm
Book Title: Summer Psychic
Author: Jessica Adams
Publisher: Black Swan
Genre: Chic-lit, Humour
Rating: 2.5/ 5

One-liner Synopsis
When Katie Pickard, news reporter, interviewed a psychic, Jim Gabriel, she was told she is going to marry him by the end of summer …

Review
The synopsis is sure catchy but don’t be fooled by those alluring words. That’s because the story is not like what you expected it would turn out to be—unfortunately.

The story turns out to be slow and not much of a twist in the romances. It begins with the author showering a little of Katie’s past relationship history after she met Jim. And the process of feeding her readers like me made me frustrated because the motions are slow since there are too many not interesting dialogues. You just feel like fast forwarding the pages. The characters developed at a frustrating slow pace and they seem to be dull, nothing attractive that makes you remember them for good. And the romance parts are just too predictable and bland.

Wee interesting?
There are some bits of witchcraft and insights of communicating with the dead.

License to KILL obtained
Friday, October 5, 2007
Good news people.

I just came back from my blood test - not the results - from the clinic and the doctor told me to take care of my health. One of the things in maintaining my health is obtaining a license to KILL people. Haha. Why? Because of my condition - most likely is hyperthyroidism, I would experience mood swings and I cannot be irritated and annoyed. So a big NO NO in making me mad. If you made me mad, I would lash you back with a guarantee. I would TRY my best in containing my anger. But do it at your own risk.

I also cannot be stressed. But the main contributor to that is irritation and annoyance. Ho ho. Yes you know who am I talking about right? Ha Ha. Wish yourself luck when talking to me.

So now the jerk in my office ... I now officially can take the plastic knife in my own to transform him into eunuch since I received information from a reliable source he now has a girlfriend already.

Oh well before executing that. I still need to get my blood test result first. So all those dreams are not OFFICIAL yet.

Lucky you guys!
