Click me | Anime review Monday, May 28, 2007 Asatte no Houkou/ A Direction of the Day after Tomorrow Monday, May 28, 2007 Genre: Drama, Slice of Life and Supernatural Director: Katsushi Sakurabi Series Composition: Seishi Minakami Episodes: 12 Rating: 8.5/10 Synopsis A young girl, Karada, often wishes to be an adult to the stone spirit in her hometown. And the good news is her wish is granted one night by switching her age with Shouko, her foster brother’s ex-girlfriend. Review I thought this anime is going to be boring but every episode proves me wrong because initially I assumed this anime would be childish because Karada has become an adult, so there’s always a possibility of she doing stupid stuff. But hey, she didn’t because she’s a matured thinking girl to begin with. And she’s always guided by Shouko and Hiro, her foster brother. So actually throughout the whole anime, viewers get to know why Karada wish was granted and why the other victim has to be Shouko and no one else. Although I don’t agree with Karada running away from home when she thought she was the reason behind Hiro’s breakup with Shouko, I have to bear in mind that she’s a small girl in an adult body. So that action is forgivable. Despite watching how Karada, Shouko and Hiro workout their relationship and feelings throughout the anime which is their summer, I didn’t get bored. In fact, I can’t wait to watch the next episode because I simply want to see their next course of reactions is. Ending? Trust me … it’s predictable but yet you will feel it ended as it should be. Thankful: The drawing is cute so are Shouko and Karada. Ungrateful: Hiro should get a haircut because I can’t see his face. Comment! (0) | Recommend! Anime all day long!!!! Saturday, May 26, 2007 Yay!!! I'm back to my normal self which is watching anime all day long. I have been watching anime since last night and I managed to finish Asatte no Houkou. Yay!!!! And today, I waas actually quite unsure to continue watching which anime because ... I have a lot of anime in my laptop but I just don't know which one to choose. So I ended up watching Monster that's because I have not been able to complete this anime since 2004. Bwahaha... Unbelievable! This anime is getting so exciting!!! Anyone out there also watching this anime??? I'm now watching Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams as I'm updating the blog. The graphics is like Final Fantasy but then I really prefer English translation than the dub. And the storyline looks very complicating and it's now giving me a headache. Oh well, any anime lovers out there??!! Comment! (3) | Recommend! Meow meow Friday, May 25, 2007 I just feel like meowing. What about you guys? Comment! (1) | Recommend! I want MOCHACINNO Wednesday, May 23, 2007 I was in Dome yesterday sipping on my cappuccino simply because I finished my physiotherapy session within 5 minutes and my sister was still in some discussion with some doctors at the same hospital as I was. I can't believe how much I miss drinking coffee like yesterday. I still remember those days where I usually head to my favourite cafe to get my Mochaccino. Unfortunately Dome doesn't have that. They only have Mocha. Man... I missed those days of indulging Mochaccino in Bean Me Up especially on those winter days. I'm dying for a coffee now but instead of spending RM 10 on a coffe, I just deposited that into my bank account. Me smart right? Comment! (2) | Recommend! |
