preheat oven at 180 C and bake it for 25-30 mins
250 gm butter
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Melt butter, add cocoa powder, and mix. let it cool
then add sugar and eggs, beat well.
sift flour and baking powder into mixture
add vanilla essense and mix.
pour mixture into a baking tin.

preheat the oven at 180 C and bake the cake for 35 mins
50 gm butter
1 tablespoon golden syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla essense
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoon cocoa powder
1/2 cup milk
melt butter and golden syrup, let cool.
add egg, vanilla essense and sugar. beat well.
sift flour. baking powder and cocoa into the mixture and stir in.
dissolve baking soda in the milk, add and beat until smooth.
extra = i dunno why my friend said to put only 2 tablespoon of cocoa powder and so little .. the cake colour will be light.. so i added more than that. if u don't have an electric whisk, u can try using a blender as a substitute. if not, you will have to use a lot of energy and more time to have a good mixture. u can also add white choc bits into it...

Berry and orange Trifle
500g vanilla-flavoured yoghurt
2 tsps finely grated orange rind
2 tbs caster sugar
3/4 c orange juice
2 tbs orange-flavoured liqueur
16 sponge finger biscuits
1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries
icing sugar and shredded orange rind to decorate
1. whisk yoghurt with rind and sugar in a medium bowl until combined.
2. combined juice and liqueur in a shallow bowl. dip half the biscuits into the juice mixture and place over the base of a shallow 6-cup serving dish. spread over half the yoghurt mixture and scatter with half the berries. cover and refrigerate overnight.
3. stand trifle at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving. serve dusted with sifted icing sugar and decorated with shredded orange rind.

Argh ... I hate flu. All of a sudden I have flu since yesterday. I have dry cough and dry throad since last saturday but I never expected it to become a flu now... arghh... i hate flu because I can't breathe properly.... Imagine today, all of my phone receivers told me to speak louder because they can't hear my voice. Not only that, I don't think I can cope of talking and breathing at the same time on the phone. Poor me. Lemon and honey won't work on me now because I already having cough and flu. Duh~ It only works when you feel like having a cold... not already having a cold. Many people thought "Oh yea, why worry since I got this superb home remedy" but what is the point of having it if the sickness is already too serious?
Some people are so oblivious about that. Some people even called me stupid just for that. Argh ... stupid people. Oh well, you call me stupid, I call you stupid too. So in the end, we are on the same level playing field.
I still remember my little cousins asking me the same questions a million time and I got pretty fed up. Fed up in the sense of 'come on people, how can you be so ignorant to absorbing knowledge?' I read all kinds of stuff be it some busybody news, politics, environment, home remedy and bla bla. So when I share some of the home remedies I read in the magazines with my aunt and these little cousins.. they will definitely project this question: "Are you a doctor?." For christ sake, I don't need to be a doctor to know these home remedies. They are like general knowledge and it is interesting to know them. What's more is what happen one day if you really need these home remedies??? They come in handy right??? Aiyo .. people ... don't be so narrow minded la... try reading all kinds of things la....

Nothing much happened today other than the people who have the office key didn't inform me and my workmates that they were on leave today and we waited for the Uncle to open the office for us. So you imagine, we started work at 9.30 m. Luckily Uncle came to office today, if not, we would just self-declare today is a holiday since it's a public holiday for the people in Selangor, Malaysia. I have a feeling yesterday that one of my workmates will be taking leave and it was so true.
As I said nothing much I did so I updated some of the things on my blog like the Reading corner and my profile. And haha .. I did a simple graphic picture by using Paint. No choice. My laptop is dead and I got no idea how to revive it.. Oh yea by just buying an external wireless adapter which I'm lazy to do so.
I'm still figuring out to put links in my categories because they will be very messy if I just insert so many entries into them. You got what I mean? I'm looking for a CSS tag whatsoever that makes my entries neat when you click READING.
Any help? I got a lot of things to review man ... especially recipe.... =p
