Imagine, a downloader freak like me have not been downloading for a week?? You must be joking with me. So today I realised I finished the 100th anime. What anime do you guess?? >.< It's Azumanga Daioh! This anime is really full of colourful characters and my character is a marriage of Tomo and Osaka. I think jolenesiah can verify that. My friends told me that the ending could be quite sad but I don't find it sad at all. I thought it's more of a slice of reality. Time flies and the next minute you realise you are now in another process of growing up. That is why some of my friends always lament that they don't want to grow up. When you grow up, you are ripped from the comfort of the friends that you have known for eternity. And then, parents could always support the kids and give them whatever they wish. The comfort is usually what people miss. My 101th anime will be Princess Princess, I guess. If you guys wondering how do I know the position of my completed anime is because I have a list of anime that I have finished watching and been abandoned. Bwahahahahaha. I'm a freak. Comment! Happy Chinese New Year Monday. 2.19.07 10 p.m. Chinese New Year is usually what the Chinese look forward to; the young would love to get red packets from their elders while the old would love to catch up with friends and family relatives - the only time for a family reunion. I of course looking forward to get angpau [red packet] but as if I would get a lot compared to my friends. But getting little money is better than nothing. Chinese New Year Eve I had a reunion dinner at my uncle's mother-in-law house. I look forward to it because it's good for me to prospect customers but also to get angpau *evil grin*. The food was just so-so except for the konnyaku jelly. It was actually quite awful at the beginning of the night because of my jerk uncle. I have never seen a man, who is also my uncle and a father to my cousin being such a jerk and has no pride for himself... I have never seen an arrogant bitch jerk dork man looking down on his nieces and what is more, being bitchy. This is a family man who has no pride and dignity and rotten to the core of humanity. A friend of mine is accused of doing something, which has been exaggerated by many many people. And during the reunion, he announced this to all my distant relatives out of the blue like it's something to be proud of. He is indeed very proud of. I'm not saying I'm ashame of my friend's doing, past is past. Why bring it up since it's not relevant tot he reunion dinner? And I called out his name with a tone accompanied with a death glare to him. He looked at me with stupidity trying to defend himself. But everyone in the house looked at both of us. I pitied my aunt to have a husband like him. I pitied my cousin to have such a shameful father. I pitied myself to have such a jerk uncle. First Day of CNY I didn't go back to my dad's hometown because I'm having acute gastritis. I need a lot of rest. So I spent my afternoon by visiting my friend, somewhere in Sungai ..., near jolenesiah's house. If I name the place she will kill me because she doesn't want her secret admirers to know where's she's living. Bwahahaa. My sister and I spent like 4 hours in my friend's house listening to his life experience. And it is interesting talking to him because he is just younger than my father a little. Second Day of CNY Today is quite interesting because I went all the way to Seremban to visit my friend there. Yea I just hopped on the KTM train to go there. My friend did gave me a short tour around Seremban and I'm impressed with their new urban design. The new residences have a park. How nice is that. I mean a park with some small pond that is just like in front of your house??? And then I got to see my friend's figurine collection. OMG.. I think he spent RM 5 000 so far for his collection. Thank god... I only collect stuff on Naruto especially Orochimaru. Let's just say I collect stuff on good looking gorgeous villains. Nyaa~~~ they are so cute. I thought of buying a Orochimaru poster for my room. Nah .. I won't get a nightmare... XXX Tomorrow is the third day and I'm hoping things will turn out well ... Cross fingers ... Happy Chinese New Year, people. Comment! (6) | Recommend! Missing in Action Friday. 2.16.07 8:49 am I know I have been missing in action for quite some time but that was because I was sick and again last night. But yesterday was a happy occasion for me because I got to meet my friend and her boyfriend from New Zealand. And she also brought along a friend which was a surprised to me because I never anticipated her bringing her godfather travelling around KL... Funny. Because I was having headache in organizing lunch for her because I know her boyfriend is not a great fan of Asian food and the way he was describing some chinese dishes on her's mum's 60th birthday, I could have guess that. So we ended up having lunch at the food court in KLCC. I thought of buying them lunch but her godfather insisted of going to the food court. No biggie for me. Funny again. I asked her bf, my ex-housemate as well, what he wanted to have for lunch and he only replied fish burger from McD, and then I looked around in my surrounding because I'm actually spoilt by choices. I suggested him to get manybe like spaghetti o try to look around. But he insisted of having McD. I laughed silently. I came back with a bowl of wanton hor fun and I swooshed it down hungrily. And then, he was looking into my bowl and comparing his burger and my noodle. I laughed. He said he would rather have something like mine than his burger. Duh ... My girlfriend just laughed. I have a lot of things to talk to them but constraint of time .... So sad. I was rushing back to office. But it was great to meet them. Meeting them is better than not meeting them. Moreover, haha, I got to have lunch with one the actors from the Kopitiam series [a Malaysian sitcom], who happens to be my friend's goddad. Comment! (5) | Recommend! She's coming back! Monday. 2.12.07 8.54 p.m. OMG! She's coming back to Malaysia!!! One of my good friends who studied with me is coming back to Malaysia from New Zealand for Chinese New Year. I just can't wait to see her and her boyfriend who was my ex housemate. I just can't believe that I will be meeting her up this coming Friday for lunch and dinner. OMG!! I think we would not have much time to chat since her boyfriend is with us and also some other ex collegemates. Hmm.. I'm also having a headache what to eat with her since her boyfriend is much more fussy than me when comes to food. I might just kick him to the Haagen Daze counter while she and me have a good time in some chinese restaurant to have Yee Sang. Wishful thinking~ I just can't wait for her to come back. Oh jolenesiah is also balik-ing kampung. Man .. I got no one to accompany me to celebrate Chinese New Year in KL. *Sob* Comment! (2) | Recommend! L.O.S.T Saturday. 2.10.07 9.51 p.m. Yesterday was extremely hilarious: jolenesiah and I got lost on the way to One Utama shopping complex despite being there once. We just couldn't recognize the road and we ended up in some rural areas. And then we asked for directions. And then we came out of the rural area only to realize we took the wrong turn; the turn we took led us to where we came from, which is my house. Being hungry and not wanting to have gastric for the both of us, we decided to get lost in some unknown business district on our left. Tada ... thank god ... this district has some food outlets so we just hopped into a Nyonya restaurant to feed our hunger. Despite located in some mysterious place, this Nyonya restaurant is frequented by many people and you just cannot imagine how clean and hygienic is the restaurant. The waiters really pour their strength into shining the tables. No joke. Later, we decided to explore the district. We found McDonald down the road and a few boutiques. No joke. There were many customers in these boutiques except for McD because we didn't go over to inspect. Actually, we would like to but safety was our main concern since the streets were quite dim. But to our surprise, there were many cars trying to find some parking space. Might due to the open air food court there. We spotted Starbucks at the beginning of the road so we headed there for some dessert. Jolenesiah had a mocha and I a rocky road. How I miss NZ's rocky road... Oh well, we just sat there for 2 hours until 11.57 p.m. We were quite shock to see that many people are actually coming into Starbucks at that hour but we decided to call it a day. So long for our goals to be accomplished last night. We were supposed to go watch some she-wolf movie, have dinner, and drink like a fish for the night. We were just laughing all the way home to ponder what went wrong with our agenda. I guess we were just not meant to go drinking but meant to discover some mysterious town. Comment! (4) | Recommend! Don't stalk me because I'm smart! Thursday. 2.8.07 10.20 p.m. The last day of the peace conference was good with the closing of Tun Dr. Mahathir's closing remark because he just could make the audience laugh in the curtain of the world in a precarious situation. I send my salutation to him. I went to the War and Crimes exhibition as well. The decoration was great though the area was small but the effort of putting it up is brightly shone in the exhibition. There were many interesting facts as well. I really enjoy my visit there. But sigh, on the last day, I got to know this guy from the media who happened to have the same family name as me. No big deal. But with one problem. He kept on coming nearer to me as I moved myself away from him. This was repeated 3 times within don't-know-how many minutes. My male workmate didn't notice at all. Fine. So this guy and I were chatting about life and he told me he knew my boss. No big deal again because my company organizes seminars/conferences so he might have attended one of them. Because he has his own magazine publishing company so I asked him about the magazine market since I'm interested in doing some publishing/translating business. Bla bla there we go... and later I don't feel comfortable talking to him because I predicted our topic will sway to somewhere I'm not comfortable to discuss about. So thank god, my workmate and I saw a Prof from Ottaw so we headed to him. And left that guy. How happy and relieved I was. But not for long. During the exhibition, I met him again. Aiya ... We talked again because I'm representing my company. No way. I could turn away this guy rudely. So we talked again about life and bla and bla... [I don't really remember what we really talked] and then I just feel extremely not comfortable talking to him because he kept on coming nearer to me. Come on, jolenesiah could tell you that I speak very loud - as loud as the lion roar. Don't joke with me that you can't hear me. I was hoping that my male workmate will come to my rescue but ended up not doing anything. So when we left that media guy to meet the Lebanses guest of the conference, I gave a long lecture to this male workmate of mine to rescue any of your female workmate that looks like in trouble especially when you see a girl like me trying to get away from me. He got the guts to tell me that I looked like I'm enjoying the whole situation or maybe I like the flirtation. Puhleeze. Do I look that cheap? I don't need to get a guy like that. I wasn't even flirting with him. And don't tell me it's my fault should anything happen to me. I was extremely happy and free when I came home. Not for long - again. He called me and we were just talking about the same thing. This really freaks me out. But again I was nice to him and ended the conversation as soon as I can. My god... I hope I have not met a stalker. But you know what? Speak of the devil ... he just called me ... but to inform me of a manga drawing competition in the newspaper ... not so bad ... But I will take action should he call me everyday. Comment! (4) | Recommend!
