This is not flaming fire prevention. I'm referring to the fire in the pocket once you overspend. I would just like to share a savings tip while waiting for the flu medicine taking effect on me.
I actually knew this method long time ago but never really enforced it. >.< And so when I attended T. Harv Eker's seminar early mid year, I decided to do it no matter what. It's simple. You just need jars and money. Eker gathers 7 jars but I think it's just too many and if you are new to this method... 7 jars is scary!! These 7 jars have different purposes but I only adopt 3 purposes and modify on my own.
I started out with 2 jars: one for my Personal Financial Freedom, which means whatever money I collected here will go into my Fixed Deposit no matter what; and the other is to pay utility bills. So how do you feed these jars? Simple... I just check out my wallet for loose change and feed those jars whatever amount I like. So the first month of enforcement, I managed to save above RM 50 for my first jar and second jar. Seeing how the money grow, I got another jar and this jar is for my internet bills. So again ... I feed this jar with loose change but I put a minimum for this jar because I need to meet a certain amount at the end of the month. So it's not the end of the month yet and I'm hitting my target even before the end of the month. And not forgetting I have also been feeding my other 2 jars.
I calculated that by just having these 3 jars, I could save around RM200 a month from just spending on useless stuff. Eh not bad right? And the best part is I already have enough money to pay my bills on time. And there's always extra to carry forward in those jars!
I introduced this jar thingy to my mother when she was worried not having enough of money to pay the newspaper delivery guy. And now we don't have to worry because the piggy bank now has an amount to pay for another month without any of the family members contributing to the jar.
Hmm.. I just started a fourth jar. That is to pay off my debts. And I can't wait to see the money in there grows! Grow!!! Oooh ... I don't need Aladdin's djinn.

I visited the doctor again today. A male doctor attended to me. I told him I contracted sore throat, flu and fever while chatting with a friend over the weekend [Yea the friend is no stranger... he is Dr. Bernard]. You know what the male doctor asked me? "Why? You busy kissing ah?" I replied "Have you kiss kiss these few days also?" He laughed until he doesn't remember his gender because his answer to my question "No no... I'm such a good girl... eh eh eh ... no no .. I'm a good boy." My brows twitched.
Good news is my test results are all negative, so I have no whatsoever illness I thought I have. Yay! But I forgotten to tell doctor that I feel pain in the stomach area whenever I bend down to pick up things...
Second good news is I got selected to be a participant for JUST International Inter-civilisational Youth Engagement Programme 2008 by just submitting an essay not less 300 words. Woohoo~
For the moment, I need to get to sleep due to the effect of the flu pill.
Party is STILL over

I will update the blog with more news when I'm better; my sore throat has worsened: proceeded to flu and painful cough with phlegm. I wanted to take sick leave but government clinic doesn't really give out MC ... only half day... And I can't even breathe now. But tomorrow will be a better day since I might be able to buy a book on haiku collection of Basho.... Ah. My latest bible.

Thank god. I managed to feast on ice cream and a cake yesterday before I'm officially sick today. Somehow I got sore throat in 30 minutes.... and I can't even scream. My meowing is very ... raspy; something like Amy Winehouse's voice. Hehe. Not crispy; I'm still alive. Anyway ... I'm going to get flu soon.
No lemon... no Anthistamine.... argh!!! I want to enjoy my weekend and no thank you!!! I don't want anymore sick leaves!!!!

It's very abnormal for me to spend money on miscellanous things but today I just feel like spending. So i spent on a marshmallow cake and baskin robins ice cream. The ice cream was yum and it is unbelievable that I have not been to Baskin Robins for almost one year. So taking this scenario into account... I just decided to get a good dessert before dinner. And hehehe .. dinner was good too. My mother cooked Miso Dory Fish Soup noodle.
And now I'm coughing....
Can't smile without you

I am smiling
A new day awaiting us ...
Edit: I had a nightmare just now. I was thinking of improvising the above haiku then I fall asleep on my bed... And because of thinking the haiku over and over again ... I dreamed of the end of the world: first was the indication of the stream flowing nearer and nearer to my house ... and then later the water seeped into the window and I could not block it!!! And then later ... I was in a wide ground looking at some experiment (of some buses flying around in the sea..) and the result was ... the world is coming to an end... And no idea why I was on a site of several doctors and humanitarian aid workers. The news was ... the site I was standing is some ancient fish that decided to awaken from its slumber and migrate somewhere! What is worse is there's residence on the fish back!!!
Crazy dream. But dreaming the end of the world is not good.
Alternative haiku to the above is:
I am smiling
