Experiments in subtlety
Saturday. 6.15.13 12:24 am
It's late, and I'm tired (after a long day of doing absolutely nothing), and this layout may still be glitchy.
But, here. The only real changes I've made are a few colors and the background images, of which I'm a bit proud.
Stay classy, nuTang

It has become obvious to me that I don't have proper music in my collection to DJ a wedding.
Well, howdy folks. Just thought I'd drop in and say hi. So many fantastic things happening that it's hardly worth mentioning them, so I'll hit on some of the less savory thing first: I got in a car accident! No serious damage, no injuries...I mostly just crushed the headlamp on my right side. The light even still works, at least until water damage sets in. That was...a few weeks ago.
Last week I went back up to Atlanta for the Campus Training Program at my church. It was inspiring, convicting, exhausting, fun, extra spiritual, all that stuff. Visited Savannah. Made some great friends.
What, is it impossible to not make friends at these things? I don't know what to do with myself. All these relationships!
Lost my zune (again). Getting a lifeguarding job (again).
Trying to design a new theme for this site but I'm stuck.
I Saw Twenty | One | Pilots live in concert, and they were sicknastyawesome. Seriously. I know ONE person who doesn't like their music. Maybe two. And...man that show was something else. They had so much energy and charisma that even I got pretty nuts, and I tend to stand back from hysterics. I really wish I'd been able to meet them, they seem like such cool guys.
I need to clip my fingernails. BRB
I admit that I was sort of suspicious of Daft Punk's new album, but there are some very impressive tunes! I love Giorgio, Contact, and Motherboard, to name a few.
Alan Wake is a very hard game to play but I'm addicted because victory is SO satisfying, and the story really has me hooked.
I saw three people come to Christ in the last month. So encouraging.
My mom is getting married in a week. I sort of mentioned it earlier.
Muffy was here!
I've been using Ubuntu much more recently. I must say I kind of like it, now that I've avoided/fixed most of the major issues. I still think it's too easy to break, though. Can't update my video drivers without making a huge mess. I still use Windows if I want to play certain games, use Photoshop, or listen to music seriously (the sound quality in ubuntu really sucks for some reason) and if I don't mind the egregious boot time. Ubuntu has a lot of cool features! And it's free sucka
Good news! I just made significant headway on a new design. It's going to be pretty!
I did not meet Muffy, but he posted!

I had my first exam today. It went well enough. I have another on Wednesday, and then on Friday. In increasing order of difficulty and importance. Relatively easy semester.
On my way back home, I walked past a girl at a table with a sign "Free Prayer!"
Interesting way to meet people.
So I sat down, talked a bit, prayed a bit. It was really encouraging! I was a little surprised that she wasn't part of any campus group or ministry, from what she said. She just decided to set up a prayer table for final's week. Fun. And she was friendly! Yay people
I need to start gearing up for next semester. Fifteen hours. (PHYSICS hours, mind you.) Payed research. Extended Marshal responsibilities. More ministry responsibility too. It's going to be the fastest semester ever, which is much to my disadvantage.
What this means is that this summer will be devoted to getting my act together. I'm gonna get disciplined. Gonna try to fix some junk with my relationship with God, too. Kill all the birds!
First thing first; crack this astronomy textbook. :|
I've been experimenting a little with alcohol since turning 21 in December. Decided that I don't like beer. Not that I could never like it, but I don't care enough to put in the energy to develop a taste for it. Vodka's OK. I'm looking to try rum next, in keeping with my Puerto Rican heritage. I haven't yet drunk enough to alter my state of mind, as far as I can tell. Not even a buzz. I'm definitely avoiding getting drunk but I do want to see what it takes to get me tipsy or whatever. Otherwise I'm just drinking expensive soda, haha.
That's all for now, folks.
