It's so cold out! Here's been my frigid day thus far.
Chris dropped me off at the train station on his way to work. Unfortunately we ran into a few speed bumps right off the bat, so we got there just in time to watch the train's ass pull out of view. Also unfortunately, my phone fell out of my pocket in the car (or at least that's where I hope it is) so I hope he hasn't been trying to get in touch with me. I was supposed to let him know when I got home, so I hope he's not too worried. I though Cingular had a thing on their site that let you send text messages through the website, but I can't find it. I tried, baby!

Anywho, I only had to wait 20 minutes for the next train, so I got some nice reading time in. I got to the airport, got my red folder, and managed to make it back before the train left again (the airport train terminates at that terminal, so there's a 10-15 minute wait time before it takes off again) I made it back to Market East, which was FREEZING inside for some reason...Usually the Gallery (the mall) is like a sauna. Brr! Luckily it wasn't too long of wait for my train home.

Here's where things get really cold. We live a comfortable walk from the train....when it's not freezing, windy, and icy out...and when did it become a slight against God for churches to shovel their sidewalks? NONE of them here have cleared the sidewalks. Attention Churches: letting snow pile up does not give you manifest destiny over municipal sidewalks...shovel that shyte!

But I made it home...even got the feeling back in my fingers and everything..woot!
Tonight I'm making Winnie the Pooh shaped ravioli. Heh. I wanted to make them last night, but with all the other crap we bought...we'd had enough. So tonight, we feast on Pooh! Pooh and meat! (ok I'm done with that now)

I had more to say, but it's stupid internet drama, and I refuse to perpetuate it. I will, however, remind the general public that I'm not as stupid or blind as I may seem sometimes. :) Have a nice day!

so the second half of the day went up and down in turn...
we watched 2 more movies (crank and an older movie called working together with george carlin and ben stiller) we ATTEMPTED to use the fondue pot...but something didn't work too well...so we just ate the stuff we bought to dip...with no dip hah...hopefully next time.

for some reason i've been extremely emotional all day. i've cried like 4 times...for no real reason...the last time i had a reason, but a really flacid one. chris cheered me up to the best of his ability when im hysterical for no reason (one of the slides that didnt load was one that said "you love me even when im crazy" and today he demonstrated that) anywho, i managed to calm a bit and we played a few games of scrabble. man, he was on TOP of his game tonight...he beat me by a ginormous margin..twice. i one once on a pretty neck and neck race.

so now im waiting for him to finish his business so we can go to bed for my absolute favourite thing in the world...no, not sex (although its up there in the top 10 easily)...but alone time. i love that time...when there are no distractions, no tv, no computer, no one else around...and we can just be with each other. sometimes its nice and quiet, sometimes its a review for the next day, sometimes we play and joke for a while before we fall asleep...but thats my favourite time in the world...when i know he loves me and i know he knows i love him. any other issues weve had that day are gone, and we can just be comfortable with each other. ok, now im getting gushy...but its true.

yeah, i wanted to make today special, and yeah, every single thing i planned seemed to fall through...but all in all it was a nice day...not much different from any other day (aside from the "dinner" of rejected fondue and sweets which is reaping havoc on my blood sugar as we speak) but still good. i am loved.

I slept in today. It's cold and snowy, so I stayed in bed a couple extra hours. Once the ball was rolling, Chris and I went to Blockbuster to get some movies, then to ACME for a bunch of stuff with which to test the fondue pot he got me for Christmas. We get home to find out that somehow the sink in our bathroom flooded...well...everything. It's backed up and full of water, and the bin we'd been keeping bathroom type things in under the sink is FULL of water. Ugh...gross. This means that everything that was in there has to be washed. Luckily most of it was waterproof and/or in a container (like ALL my needles and test strips..that shit's expensive) I got it under control, but I haven't actually cleaned it all yet.. it's Valentine's Day, and I refuse to clean out a disgusting sink. We just finished watching Black Dahlia, and once I'm done here we've got an assortment of other movie from which to choose the next. It's a nice, cold, shut in kinda day.

So the doctor wants me to stay home this week, too. This means there's really not a lot of point in me returning to work. I understand that, but I'm really going to miss the store and the people I worked with there. What's worse is that since I couldn't get ahold of Bekah until Friday (even though she says Saturday) it means she had less than two weeks notice that I was leaving...which makes me ineligible for rehire. I've officially lost my fall back and one of the few jobs I've been able to say I absolutely loved. If I mess up with Southwest again, that's it. *sigh* It all feels so finite.

Our cable is off again...which means soon they'll be here for the money we don't have...I'm so stressed out I can't think straight anymore...

and I'm starving....meh
