this whole apartment situation gets exponentially more frustrating at every turn. i won't get into specifics, but it really shouldn't be this difficult to find a place to live...that's really about all that's been going on. i feel like lately i get nothing done in the tiny portion of allotted time ive been given to do it. i'm hardly ever home, and when i am im asleep. it has to get easier soon. HAS to. im so overwhelmed by my life right now...i think its a bit funny chris thinks im dating someone...when do i have any time for that!? its gotten to where i feel guilty for hanging out with any of my friends because theres so much else i could be doing. im a nervous wreck, terrified of fucking up and losing my job because of it, and not really sure where im living in a few weeks.

I rushed out of the apartment this morning a half an hour early to make sure I didn't miss the supplemental shuttle providing service through our station while they work on the train tracks. It wasn't quite as bad as I'd imagined, but still a pain in the ass. On the second leg of my commute I crossed my legs up and saw a black tennis shoe, meaning I'd put on the wrong shoes. We're only allowed to wear white shoes with our uniforms. Great, what a start. A few moments later I shifted and saw...a white tennis shoe...meaning I'd apparently put on one of each. Ya, this made my day a LOT more interesting. I felt like an idiot all day. It seems the full moon has brought out all the nuts it can find, because it was a very. long. day.

Chris picked me up at the train station and we ate dinner together for the first time in ages. I miss spending time with him. With our schedules you;d hardly know we live int he same apartment. I never see him. We watched Titan AE with dinner. Good stuff.


I'd type more, but I'm falling asleep as we speak and I've still got an overnight bag to pack...gnight all! I'm still alive!

Once again I set off for my nomadic portion of the work week. With thunderstorms on the horizon, there's an energy in the air that may or may not bring out a different Jenn. Maybe not a bad Jenn, though. I've been very stuck in my own head today, and a good portion of last night. It's time to rock myself out of it. I've got things to do...

i started packing today. we've got a little over a month to get out of this apt. it's a bit overwhelming. i need to get rid of a lot of things. seriously. i really hope we get the house i saw. i totally fell in love with it. *sigh* credit check don't fail us!
