Crap, my life is so full of irony.

I'm crushing on a boy who I've recently become friends with, which is always a good feeling, but this crush comes with so much irony I have to laugh. Hard.

1. He is Nathan's best friend.
2. Nathan and I have a monstrous history.
3. He knows about this history.
4. Amy and Nathan and Steven (the boy) and I hung out this afternoon after school.
5. He stated that he "really want[s] to be part of a love triangle."
6. If only he knew.

So here's what I know.
Monday. 8.25.08 9:28 pm
Economics is going to be awkward, unless I can snag a seat next to Robert. In which case it will still be awkward, but less hostile and more friendly. For that class I need a spiral.

Chemistry, if I can get a good seat, should be kickin'. Except that I hate chemistry. And Kayla Fletcher is in that class. Man. I managed to avoid her all last year. And now, the one class I thought would be fantastic, Amy and BJ both got out of and Kayla is in. Plus I need a bunch of crap: Three Ring Binder, Notebook Paper, Comp Book, Dividers (which I can make out of Manilla folders), Pens, Pencils, Scientific Calculator, and a highlighter.

Psychology might be alright. Idk. The teacher seems cool, I'm interested in the subject. There's some cool kids in there, if I can figure out a way to sit by/get to know them. I'll need pencils, pens, red pens, a 5 Subject spiral, a Large Three Ring Binder, Dividers, Folder w/Pockets and Brads, Highlighter, Looseleaf Notebook.

French, as always, should be fantastic. There's a few foreign exchange students in the class, two from Italy, two from Germany, one of the Germans being very fluent in English and American and a return student. I sit by the Italian boy, and his accent is fantastic. His French is fantastic also. Yashvi and Wendy and I decided it'll be the most demeening class of the year. Ha. We actually need stuff this year: 3 Subject Notebook w/Pockets and a Comp book. French/English dictionary optional. I might invest in one of those.

Aca Deca, I already have all my supplies. And my death wish. Ickkkkkkkk. Goodbye lunches every Wednesday.

Intermediate Algebra is going to be a breeeeeeeeeeze. I'm so effing pumped. I need pencils and pens, Scientific Calculator, a spiral, and a binder or folder.

Biology will kick my ass. It's a huge, hard class. I'm considering getting out, cause I'll have to miss a day for ACL, and apparently you don't want to miss any of that class, cause it's impossible to make up. BUT you go on an awesome field trip at the end of the year. Like, a four day adventure down to Austin. Which is funny, cause I have that class with Andrea and we have decided to be adventuring buddies. 3 ring binder, notebook paper, dividers, pens, pencils, scientific calculator, highlighter.

Now, English is going to be amazing. The class, anyway. The people in it, maybe not. I have it with Yash and Ksenia again. And Katie Beth. And Katie. Oh god. Katie. She's so. Damn. Conservative. Don't even get me started.
We need a helluva lotta books, but the only supplies we need are notebook paper, pens, grading pens, highlighter, pencils, book tabs, and blue books.

K, now that I've got all of that figured out, time to see where I am as far as magazine articles go. BLECKKKKKKKKKKK.

When will this all end?
Sunday. 8.24.08 9:51 am
I think when my dad gets released from the hospital, he's not going to be living with us anymore.

It's funny, when I was younger I actually wanted that really badly. I was kind of a drama queen. If anyone remembers my old nutang (which I try not to) you can see the evidence. I thought that if my parents went through a tragic seperation, maybe I would get more attention and somebody would fall in love with me, because I would be a tragic figure.

Oh, the mind of a sixth grader.

I start school tomorrow. If I have a breakdown in the middle of fifth period, I don't think anyone's going to see me as a tragic figure to fall in love with. I'll just be a pathetic idiot who signed up for way too many academic classes. Speaking of, I'm probably ditching Psychology for leadership, just so I can have one class that won't destroy me. Idk. I'll see how the first week is before I make any changes.

After school tomorrow (God, I hate that phrase. "After school tomorrow." Ick.) I go fill out paperwork at Market Street. fkld;a.

I've got to go to church now. Hurrah for pitty...

Jordan Martin is in town!
Friday. 8.22.08 7:06 pm
If anyone wants to throw their mind back into the nether reaches of a few months ago, they'll know that that means...

CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES!

Except a lot of our strawberries were moldy... So I only got to make like 13. And I gave my mom two. So I figure 2 for me, 2 for Haley, 2 for Amy, 2 for Jordan Pape, if she goes, and 3 for Jordan Martin. And if Pops! doesn't go, then that's 5 for Jordan Martin.

Good thing he's so allergic to strawberries, right?

In other news...

I got a job. -shoots self- I had to go in for a drug test today, which was lame. I got all freaked out even though I don't do drugs. Lolz at I'm a baby.

For some reason I've had "Cowboy Take Me Away" stuck in my head all night. I don't know why. I don't even listen to country, or like that song. But for some reason, I want to hear it. Right now.

It's super hot but my legs are the harriest they've been all summer, due to the random cold nights/mornings we've been having lately, so I'll be wearing me some jeans.

I wrote a Wizard Rock song yesterday. I wish I could sing well enough to have a Wizard Rock band. Also that I could play a musical instrument, so I could have some background music. I've really been thinking about getting into piano lately, but there's probably no time what so ever.

OH. I forgot to post my schedule, didn't I? Here it is. This, and the fact that I said I was free any day of the week to work, because I need the money hard core, is why I will have no time to breathe this year:

Monday/Wednesday
Economics AP - Moore, Kay Spikes
Chem Pre AP - Smith, Leonard Clinton
Psycho Pre AP - Anderson, Christopher
French 4 AP - Belsan, Diana Louise

Tuesday/Thursday
Ind St Eng2 - Perez, Neoka G
Int Alg - ?
Biology AP - Haskins, Chad Allen
Eng 3 AP - Wickersham, Linda Lea

Pros of this schedule: I was able to switch out of Pre-Cal Academic with Ms. Talbert as soon as I got this schedule, AND, I have Mrs. Wickersham! I was scared out my mind that I would have Mrs. Justice for the third year in the row, but nope! I mean, it's not like I hate Justice or she hates me or anything. Really, we get along quite well. It's just that even she wanted everyone to get Wickersham for their junior year, but the councilers gave her a single junior English class. Plus, I don't have any super hard classes at the begining of the day. I mean, maybe Eco will be hard, but at least Moore is kind of funny, so it'll wake me up. And Aca Deca, well, that's gonna either be a blow off class, or just plain blow. At least it's not like last year, with first class of the first day of the week being freaking Algebra 2. Gag me? And, no, Intermediate Alg is not a step down from Alg 2. My grandma keeps asking me that.

Cons of this schedule: It is purely academic. Do you see one class where it is impossible for me to get homework in? No ma'am, you do not. Amy's taking every single elective in an art class, so we have no classes, and Stephen and I are only taking two of the same classes, both of which he has Band at the time that I have them, so no classes there, either. Neither of them will be getting loads of homework, as well as Aca Deca, and neither of them have a job. Holy smokes. I'm going to die. Meanwhile, I have three classes (French, Bio, English) with Yashvi, and she's taking two blow off classes: Leadership and an art. She's complaining.

"Oh my Goddddd, school is going to be soooooooooo hard this year!" She thinks it's gonna be hard? She should try walking a few steps in my shoes. Not only am I working and taking all academics, but the whole thing with my dad has spun out of control, and I have no outside thing to focus myself on, nor time for it. But I still really want to get into Piano. Then I could compose some music to my (outstanding :P) Wizard Rock lyrics.

Well, I'm done with my ranting for now. Lolz?

Shoot me?
Wednesday. 8.20.08 6:27 pm
What was I thinking? I have an interview at Market Street tomorrow morning.

For those of you who don't know (and none of you probably do), Market Street is the local chain grocery store. Everybody gets hired, but nobody really wants to work there.

Obviously, I really don't want to work there. But I needz teh moneyz! My mom closes up the office at 5, and I don't get out of school until 4:30!

Speaking of school... I still have soooo much to do before Monday. A book and a half to read, and 20 articles to collect.

I decided not to dress up a super lot for the first day. Just this blue t-shirt with a grid of elephants on the front and a vest, both from Saver's, a thrift store, and jeans. But then I started thinking about how cute a mellow khaki skirt would be with that. I don't own a mellow khaki skirt. I wish I could sew my own clothes!

Off to dinner now. FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.
