Today I did something so interesting.
Friday. 5.2.08 7:10 pm
Things you should know before I go into this:

We had TAKS (state testing) this week.
LHS gets out at one on Fridays.
We took the easiest test (Social Studies) today.
When you test, you always test with the same people. It's alphabetical by last name.
Everyone in our room finished really fast, but we had to stay in the room until one.
I'm good friends with a lot of people in my testing room.

So here's the story:

At first, when everyone was finished, Wendy and Jocelyn and Ksenia and I were all just drawing at the front of the room. After a while, we got bored and decided to play I've Never. Chris sat down with us, and you can't have Chris with out having Evan, so we were all playing. Ksenia lied.
After a while, it got to where no one could think of anything else, so we thought up a new game.
We ripped up a piece of paper and all wrote a secret on it, and gave them all to Jocelyn. She read them and we guessed who said what. It was so interesting. Like, to see what you knew about people and what you didn't.
Anyway, after a while we couldn't think of any "secret" catagories, so we decided to write little "notes" to someone in the circle, but not guess who said what.

WOAHHH! It was really crazy. Wendy wrote one and I didn't even guess it was to me, until she told me afterward. "I wish it was still just the two of us." I came home and cried. I mean, we used to be practically sisters, and now I haven't been over to her house in like, 2 years.

I wrote one to Ksenia that said "I know you were lying" and everyone freaked out. It was so crazy. Like they all started diving for the pile to try to see the handwriting, but Eric wouldn't let them. By the end of the game we had like, eight or nine people playing. Then we stuck all of the secrets down a hole in the floor. It's like... our memories... preserved. OH MY GODDDD IT WAS SO COOL!

I don't know. It just had a very Breakfast Club feel to me. It made me really happy.

I just made another batch of chocolate covered strawberries for Corina's birthday. We're going to SB's and I'll get pictures of them. I'm very proud of my strawberries. Ha.

I want to be a baker.
Wednesday. 4.30.08 1:36 pm
We had the morning off today because there was testing going on at school, so I got to sleep in, then I took a shower, then I went to the kitchen and made chocolate covered strawberries.

Ohhh. Myyyy. Goodness.

Those things are HEAVENLY.

Next time

Oh my gosh. I just looked up and there was a mouse peeking out from under my dad's old guitar case. WOAHHHH.
Mice are cuteeee.

Anyways...

Next time I'll make the dip with milk chocolate, and maybe drizzle dark chocolate over it. And have more than 14 strawberries. I think I ate ten of them...

Uhhh...

I am being a tease.
Tuesday. 4.29.08 9:06 pm
Kris's birthday is tomorrow.
He wants to hook up as his present.
And I'm totally telling him we can.

Even though I know it's not going to happen.
Honestly, I am no longer attracted to Kris at all.
I really wish he would stop seeing me as just a hook up and try to get to know me the way he used to, so we could just be friends again.
That was a good time of life.

Now I'm promising him a birthday present I really don't want to give him, and knowing that I won't let him have it in the end.

It's mean, and even though he did basically the same thing to me for two and a half years, I still can't justify doing it.

It's just easier than flat-out saying no, and it keeps him actually talking to me. I don't know. It's weird. Like, despite the fact that even talking about hooking up with him wears me out, I still crave his attention.

Probably some psychological/biological thing. Wish I could figure it out, though.

3-day weekend?
Sunday. 4.27.08 8:50 am
I think I might actually do a real update, that's just how awesome it was.

Thursday night I went to Barnes and Noble and read, which isn't that exciting, but I had fun.

Friday morning Yashvi called at 9:40 and told me she was coming to get me and we were going to Sugar Brown's.

So I got ready, went to SB's with her, had a slice of coffee cake (aka: heaven) for breakfast, and just talked about everything.
Being with Yashvi is nice, when it's just the two of us. She was really nervous, because she had a date later on, so I tried as hard as I could to calm her down.
Not really, I laughed at her. It was cute. Ha.
Then I made her walk to Thai-Thai with me and we split a Chicken Fried Rice, which she never payed me back for, but oh well. I also had a Thai Tea. I forgot how heavenly those are.

So we walked back to SB's, and Henry came and picked her up, so I called my dad to come get me. It was a really nice day and we were driving with the windows down, and when we got home I asked him if he knew whether or not my bike was in riding condition (Ika's semi-recient purchase of a bike inspired me). We blew up the tires, gave it a power-wash, oiled it, and my mom got me a bike lock.

I rode it from my house (on 40th street and Orldando) to a few businesses on 34th and applied for jobs, then down to J&B Coffee (on 26th and Boston - 13 blocks east and west - a mile is 16) for some coffee, then to my aunt's house (on 20th and Indiana - 6 blocks) where my parents were. I left my bike there though, because it was 7 when I got there, and I had some pizza, and then I realized I had to be home at 8 so that I could get picked up, and I didn't have time to ride 26 blocks back home, so my mom drove me home, and my bike still sits there.

So I got home and got ready for what I did NOT want to be a date. It was a Star Wars marathon. Not a date.
We ended up cuddling anyway. At his house. With his dad and little brothers in the room.
Weird?! For me it is. Especially since it's only the second time I've ever in my life hung out with him.
In fact, the more I think about it...
The more I want to vomit...

Anyway, got home around 12:30, slept around 1:00, didn't wake up yesterday until 11:30-ish. Went to lunch with my parents, went driving around Lubbock with Amy, and then realized that I really needed to clean or I'd get yelled at. I was getting really tired though, so we stopped at SB's and I got a Mocha Java Shake. If you ever ever come to Lubbock, go to SB's and get one of those. After you get a Thai Tea from Thai-Thai. They're the best.

So I got home, fully refreshed, and hard-core cleaned my room. It's nearly clean now, and I feel uber accomplished. Jordan came over a bit, but she just stressed me out and I was being boring and cleaning, so she left.

Anyway, last night was prom, which I was not invited to and so couldn't go, but I was definitely expecting some drunken calls. I went to sleep around 12:30, and was awoken at 3:18 by a call, though not drunken.

Nathan: "Me and Roman need somewhere to sleep. Can we come to your house?"
Me: "No..."
My mom: "What Hannah?"
Nathan: "Please? We'll just sleep in the closet."
Me: "No..."
My mom: "Hannah?"
Me: "I'm on the phone..."
Nathan: "Please??"
Me: "There's no room in my closet, and my bed doesn't have sheets on it right now."
Nathan: "We don't care! What's your address?"
Me: "You've been here before, figure it out. My parents are really light sleepers, they'll hear you if you come in."

They came over anyway, but didn't come in. I went and sat in Roman's car, and half the time was having an anxiety attack because I was afraid my parents would wake up.
They didn't of course.

Anyway, they decided to go sleep at Doug's house, around 4, and I just went back to my room and read. My alarm went off at 7, and I turned it off and took a shower. I feel pretty awake right now, but I'll definitely be needing more caffeine this afternoon when I finish cleaning up my room.

Hmmm.

In other news, I get my license in less than a month!!! Hurrah!

Also, if you read that whole thing, I commend you. :]
