I am at work...


First day of summer, and I had to get up at 7 in the morning, anyway.





Lunch for Aaron's birthday today. I got him a Gogol Bordello CD and it was a pretty big sacrifice. I've wanted that CD for months, and I spent my last $18 on it... For him...
Also, I needed 5 of those $18 to get my tire fixed. And I can't get lunch today, so I'll make a sandwich here before I go. I brought peanut butter and jelly and bread. I'm kind of pumped.


I need to get my nails done. And either I keep forgetting to hit space, or the space bar isn't working.




The only reason I'm not sleeping at home is because of the stupid gas prices. I figured everyone would be sleeping this morning, so I wouldn't be missing anything exciting by working.
I forgot... sleep IS exciting...

I tried to take a nap yesterday afternoon, and was awoken about 20 minutes after I laid down by my mother's very high pitched and loud political discussion with her father.
It was funny, because even though I agree with her ideas and opinions, instead of his, I found myself agreeing with him, just because he was being calm and not screaming.
Politics.



Watched V for Vendetta again yesterday. I think it might beat Troy as far as favorite movies go.


Anyway, when I got home I went to bed pretty early, about 11:20, and was pretty deeply asleep.
Aaron texted me at 11:43...
That wasn't too bad though, because I don't mind talking to Aaron.
I had apparently been having a really bad dream, though, because when I woke up my heart was pounding and I was really scared.


We talked for about an hour, and he was finally decided to go to bed. I'm pretty sure I fell asleep half a minute after he said good night.





Also fell in love with the Cat Power song on V for Vendetta. It's short, but it's beautiful. I wish I could have it playing in my head 24/7, but I can't even fathom that in my mind.





I had a dream this morning that I was failing at driving so hard. I couldn't park at all, I kept leaving with the windows rolled down or the doors open really wide, and Simon (my car) was purple, with purple plush interior.
It was weird...



Aaron's birthday is Thursday.

A: My birthday's in 2 days!
H: Ahh! What do you want?
A: Nothing.
H: That's dumb...
A: Why?
H: Because you're turning 18!
A: I don't want to ask anyone for anything, but if you want to get me something, I'm not stopping you.
H: K, I will.
A: Usually I get laid like ten times. That's the typical present anyway. JK.
H: I'll see what I can do.
A: Haha. Sophomores don't even know what that means.




That was a really pointless excerpt of conversation, but I felt like sharing it. He makes fun of me for being a sophomore a lot, since he's graduating.

I feel slightly obsessed. Only this time it's in the not-stalkerish, actually maybe going to date him soon kind.
I don't feel that kind of obsessed very often.


Last Tuesday of the school year, I forgot to mention.
I should leave now.

Who is better than Parker in a lot of ways, but.
I'm glad I can say that it's only because I like him more.
Honestly, there's nothing wrong with Parker except for his job.
I just want to be his friend. That's all.

Parker lives by Tinseltown (the movie theater) and works at United (the grocery store by the movie theater).
Aaron lives by Tinseltown, also.
I went to Aaron's house twice this week, and drove by the United, and thought of Parker.
I kind of worried that he would just happen to see me, somehow.

Anyway, last night I went over to Jordan's house, and we decided to rent movies. The Hollywood Video closest to her house is also next to Tinseltown.
We rented movies, then decided to buy snacks.
The only economically (as in--gas saving) option would be the United by Tinseltown.
The United Parker works at.



He was there.
While we were with in walking distance of Aaron's house.
It was just a big pile of awkward irony.

I got pulled over.

I've had my license for two days... and I've already been pulled over.

I made an illegal u-turn in front of an under-cover cop. While skipping. With more than the alotted number of passengers in my vehicle.




He just told me to be safer. Nicest cop I've ever met.

Hurrah! I love nice under-cover cops.



I don't think things with Parker worked out. Idk. I miss him. But I miss his friendship. And innocent flirting that didn't mean anything with him. I don't know how to tell him that.
He never talks to me. We never get to talk. He sold his soul to United. jfdkl;a.

Also I met someone who actually talks to me, and we're probably hanging out tonight. We hung out last night, but only for about an hour.


Um. Yeah. That's all I can think of right now. Yeah...

It was still wonderful. He's a really sweet guy. Hurrah! I wish he didn't work practically 24/7, though.

I have an interview at Jimmy John's (a sandwhich shop) tomorrow! I'm really excited, cause they called the day I lost my phone, and I didn't get another one activated for like, five days. So when I called back and left a message, I was pretty sure that they weren't going to be calling me again. But they did today, during lunch. Hurrah!

Making more chocolate covered strawberries tonight, because Jordan's in town and I told him to hit me up when ever he was, so I could make him some. Also might get to see John, because I told him I would call him next time I made some.


The pictures from last time somehow got deleted from my camera. I think it was a messed up disc that I used. Hope I didn't break the camera... I have to use it to film our project for World History this weekend. The project's due Tuesday. Haha.

For the project we had to pick a story from history, and make a book or a slideshow or a video or something of that sort on it. We chose Anne Bonny and Mary something-or-the-other. They were pirates. We're gonna make our movie a bit of a Star Wars parody, and hope for the best.
