Anyone know what kind of bodily mechanism turns your own skin...bitter and absolutely repulsive, taste-wise? I think it's a self-defense in a sort of way against dehydration, because everytime my tongue touches it--my lips, for example--my mouth fills with saliva. To rid my tongue of the taste, of course, and I wondered if that was a way to keep my mouth wet.

I haven't been drinking enough liquid lately so my mouth has been quite dry. WHich in return left my lips chapped and peeling. So that brings me to my involuntary move to lick my lips, thus, me finding out that I was revolted by my own skin.

Eleeeack! Ptoooi! At least that's what I wanted to do, to gag, but I didn't because I knew, I had realized immediately that it may just be in my own head, 'the taste just in my own mouth'. And it is, because I tried it out on other areas of my own skin, such as my knuckle, finger, palm, and back fo the hand. Same taste, same quick swallow to make it disappear.

Well, well. I wonder when it'll go away...Ta-ta!

Now that that's done...

I got a new SIM card to put in my old cell so my number's still the same. But everything else is gone. *sigh* I'm not sure how well this phone will work though. I was switching back and forth between the one I lost and this one to get numbers, info., etc. The screen went blank a few times. I'd open it (it's a flip phone), and the screen would be lit white.

And it seems that my week will be busier than I thought. E, a member of my mother's organization, was there at the dinner and saw me dance. There is another dinner coming up and she wants me to perform! And this time I'm gettin' paid. Yeah! Fifty whole bucks! Actually, it'll be whatever's leftover from costume rental(s) and so on.

So my week is...

Mon. -- AAARI dinner Volunteers' Orientation
Tues. -- Rental of Costume(s)
Wed. -- Do the homework for the whole week (that goes for Tues., too)
Thurs. -- AAARI dinner

Heehee, I went shopping today! The three of us had agreed to meet at 12:30pm, granted I was a few minutes late, but I wasn't the latest. J got there--guess when? At 2:30pm--yes, that's right, two hours late. *shake, shake* Whatever, we knew that'd happen so A and I went for lunch while we waited. I got yummy chicken tenders and she got popcorn chicken.

Anywayz, I was going to get A a scarf/shawl from this Indian specialty place--they have some purty stuff for purty cheap. ;) But she decided she wanted a gift card so I ended up getting her one from V's S. A said that J had liked the Very Sexy Perfume for Her so I got her the gift set--lotion and perfume.

Guess what they got me? This is when I curse the sky above for me not finding my stupid camera and not getting a new one fer xmas. =P

--Brushes: This was last-minute cuz they'd had forgotten I wanted that.
Lip, Eyeshadow, Concealer, and Base brush.
--DVD: A had these two DVD's she thought she might as well give us. She wrapped them for no reason...

And finally, we went shopping for a bag for me! The messenger bag I usually use is now more grey than white and it's too small. A reg. backpack would be too big and I'd end up over-filling it or having lots of room leftover.

This is where I curse the sky more feverently. XD I wish I could show you...

It's a green-blue/turquoise sort of color with slightly contrasting zippers. Big front pocket, second front zipper, main zipper, and 2 side pockets. D&G. Alright, it's not D&G. There were two stores that had the same bag, one with the logo and one without. I chose the one without. Why get caught with a fake? *shrug*

*sigh* My shoulders are tight and my back curved like a fish. I'm so worn out that I just wanna curl up and sleep. Instead I'm sitting crosslegged on the couch facing the window with pain pulsing at the base of my neck. Whoop! And of course my lappie before me, my eyes greedily drinking in my drug: NuTang. Hehehe...*slurp* Sorry, I'm salviating.

I've been on a liquid diet all week. Cantonese, we call it juk . English, it's called congee. Mandarin, it's ju . Hopefully, ya'll know what I'm talking about. Rice Soup? Though it's not much of a soup . And I can't bite things: poultry, pork, beef, veggies, etc. My teeth want to bite something really bad. But they can't. The congee is cooked with the chicken and so on, I just don't put 'em in my bowl.

I was dancing all day today and had no energy. Not enough, barely enough. I had barre for my first class of the day. One spin and I was already dizzy. Eck, pathetic.

I will do as lazypuppy suggested and proceed with PTE X in December.

*stretches out against the pillows* Mrrrreow. Good night.

Well, tonight wasn't a jazz concert. It was actually another one of Mayor's events. And there's going to be another one soon...at his house, the Gracie Mansion. Maybe I'll put up a picture of it...it's pretty! It is a mansion, DUH. A big backyard by the river, etc...

New Month = New Layout!

Why? Because my moods change erratically. Hmm...will I be able to keep this up?

So how is this new layout? Any suggestions? ^-^ Thank you!

--I'm trying to find a good color scheme. One that will work for any of my moods...unlike the previous one. I didn't like having to stare at the bright cheery warmth of pink in a bad mood. XD

So I thought of purple. Oh, and I'm still fixing it up so it'll be changing from second to second. =P

One question: how to get some space inbetween my entries and my mods. and to get the mods away from the edge of the page...
