Honies, I'm home~

Spent a night at the airport for the first time
Slept a total of maybe five hours
on and off
sleep one hour, wake up, sleep again...etc.

Didn't sleep that much in the airplane, either.

Now I'm strangely tired yet awake...
jetlag shouldn't be too bad...
I'm going to finish my ramen+hotdog+tomatoes
(combination not my choice)

They had the first few episodes on my flight there
so I hoped they'd have the rest on my flight back
and they did! Hurrah!

before I left on my trip

Oh, goodness me...I'm mighty tired. *yawn* Big day tomorrow. I'm bringing my mom to Staten Island for Mother's Day--the Great Hills Park! Sand, grass, sun...boating, I'll bring a badminton set, we'll have a great time. I'm sure of it. Besides, it isn't just going to be the two of us. My friend's mother went to China for a whole...month? and she's not going to be back until June so C is left all alone. We asked her and she's coming, too. I got off the phone with my gran about an hour ago and she said yes. ^-^ So that's four ladies going to have a girl's day out. =]

Oh, and I have another performance coming up. We'll be doing Peking Opera Weaponry (where I get to beat a girl back with a stick, er, spear) and a Xin Jiang dance. ^-^ Maybe I'll have pictures to post up.

I also got a DVD of my performance for the Downtown Dance Festival. I think that's what it's called...I don't remember, it was last summer. Let's see if I can get it up.

Burdine was charged in an alleged assault at a Kentucky Welcome Center on I-75.One Best Buy customer thought police were arresting a man for taking a Playstation 3, but it turned out to be the suspected rapist who escaped from University of Kentucky Hospital last night.

William Rick Burdine Sr., 42, of Laurel County, was being discharged from the hospital Wednesday night when he ran from a corrections officer, UK police said.

About noon yesterday, police saw Burdine enter the Best Buy on Nicholasville Road, where they arrested him at the rear loading dock without incident, Lexington police Lt. David Lyons said.

Ricky Simpson, a UK student from Ashland, was in Best Buy yesterday when he saw police arrest a man.

"I thought it was for the Playstation," he said, referring to the video game system being released today.

When Burdine escaped, he was wearing only boxer shorts and white tennis shoes, UK police said.

Lexington police received a call about 10:30 a.m. yesterday that a man fitting Burdine's description was spotted at Nicholasville Road and New Circle Road. Police first went to Lexington Green, where other people said they saw a man matching the same description.

Police called out several units and a helicopter, Lyons said.

Burdine was briefly taken back to UK hospital and taken to Fayette County Detention Center, Lyons said.

Burdine was a Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex inmate.

Burdine was charged in an alleged assault at the Kentucky Welcome Center on Interstate 75 in Whitley County in June 2004. Police said he attacked a woman with a knife, forced her into her car and sexually assaulted her.

Today is my birthday. It was going okay, pretty well. My mommy was nice until she left the house and called to yell at me. ;_;

It's raining. My friend can't make it to prom shop with me. I have no plans at all today. I'm stuck here watching Densha Otoko. How sad is it that I can empathise with the beginning? It's the poor thing's birthday, no one remembers, and it's the worst day of his life. Poor thing.

So...I'm meeting my mom for lunch. Then off to class. And that's my whole day. Unless my friends and I go do something. Though at this point, I'm in a bit of a pessimistic mood. I don't think it'll happen. A twelve o' clock curfew for nothing. *sigh*

I met an old friend at the dinner banquet. We actually go to the same school, but I haven't seen her in a while. In fact, I don't see a lot of my friends during school hours. At all. Between having no classes and different lunch periods, what can you do?

Anyway, her name is S. I have another friend named S. ^{The same name, not just the initial.} You know what else they have in common? A boyfriend. What else? Puerto Rican boyfriends. And? Puerto Rican College boyfriends.

I don't have one! Anyone interested? *wiggles eyebrow*

White Cheddar popcorn is really good. REALLY good. Yum...finger-lickin' making-my-keyboard-smell-cheesy good. XD

That paired with Arizona Green Tea makes a great meal. Oh, and I have some Sweet 'n Sour Chicken left over friom yesterday, but the sauce is sorta makin' me queasy... Good thing I got a SlimJim in case of after dinner pangs. ;)
