I've noticed...
Tuesday. 6.30.09 2:06 pm
I've been spoiled by my stalkers. The first time I got in the car of my new crush(first crush in four years) it was perplexing that he did not offer to drive me all the way home. (Note: I live in Manhattan and work in Queens. Transportation between the two boroughs is about an hour by subway, aka train, and obviously less by car.)

I was too used to being in a guy's car and him offering to drive me all the way home(not that I would have, or wouldn't have, taken him up on the offer). I was also not used to COMPLETE SILENCE in the freaking car during the ENTIRE ride. Not just the first ride, EVERY SINGLE RIDE after that whenever the lady boss had us run an errand together. Except for his stupid speakers blasting.

Mystifying...
Friday. 12.1.06 11:41 pm
You know that feeling you get when you're on an airplane? That pressure that pushes in your ears. You know, when your mother gsave you gum to chew as a 'remedy' for it? I get that sometimes, but not in an airplane.

I took the last load of laundry back up to our apartment a few minutes ago. The laundry room is in our building by the back door/service entrance. I was in their all alone with the mechanical humming and the occasional clacking of a metal button against the washer or dryer. I was suddenly aware of the slight pressure in my ears. It felt like I was going deaf. My ears could only faintly pick up the laundry music and I couldn't tell if it was because the noises were low or what.

When I finally put the last of the clothes in the cart, I rolled over to the door and pushed down the handle. The heavy door opened with a grunt of effort and all this sound was suddenly there. I turned around to wonder at the laundry room, shrugged, and went on my way. Weird.

I've felt it on countless other ventures to clean my various items, but never before so obviously. I've never opened the door and have sound blasted at me. It was very strange...

Early Bird...
Sunday. 8.27.06 2:01 pm
This morning I woke to the sound of shuffling footsteps and jingling of keys. I looked up to find my mom heading out the door. At 7 AM. Where in the world does she think she's going so early in the freakin' morning?! I sat there for I don't know how long in my bewildered not-yet-awake state. After I got over the weirdness of the whole thing, I decided to take advantage of the situation. My jailor was out and unable to threaten me with a softball bat. I could go online and nuTang, email, fanfiction, etc...! And I did, well, I started to. My mom opened the door just as I was starting to type this. What you're reading now is a continuation.

SO...my friend made me watch NANA after reading all the previous issues of Shojobeat. So I'd know what was going on. The timing was perfect because the last issue I read ended where the movie did. (Timing--Shojobeat comes out every month.) And now I love Mika Nakashima (Nana Oosaki). She's a great singer, not an actress, but she was good in the movie. Though I still can't believe they included the bathtub scenes from the manga...maybe it's just me. I haven't watched any Japanese movies/TV series in a while. Actually, I only watched the one my mother was interested in years ago. I believe it was called Beautiful Days.

Anyway, I bought NANA for myself afterwards...for two dollars! Nice. I found this place downtown. Basically they copy the originals and sell them really cheap. I won't say the store name (I can't remember anyway) because I'm pretty sure that's illegal...is it?

I'm only able to post this now because my mother was in a very deep phone conversation a minute ago. I don't think she knows I'm still typing away, but better safe than sorry.

I'm out!

Yummmy Penguins
Friday. 11.24.06 10:45 pm
Ah, our plan was to go ice-skating today. It's free at Bryant Park and open 'til midnight. I wanna skate all night! I wonder if this little wish o' mine will ever come true. Not anytime soon anyway.

Alas, a leetle problemo occurred--there vere no more shoes, eh--skates fer any adult of de sizes 5-8. Which basically means all adults in general. Wait, no, there's an exception to that leetle problemo--the other gender! Ya'll have giant hooves! Argh-grah!

So we decided to go for a movie instead. Hey, did I say who 'we' were? My cousins and I. Two of my cousins and I. D and W, and I. We should have penguin smilies. Then I could use them here. Cuz we watched...yes, you guess it--Happy Feet!

Cute, funny, and very very naturally right. They were penguins in every way, except for the animation part. And it was cool how they incorporated real people in there...really don't know how they did that. Fascinating.

And I believe the subliminal messaging in there was
DON'T EAT FISH!

I would comply, but I like sushi too much. *shrug* Oh, well.

I...
Saturday. 2.5.11 12:43 am
had something I'd planned to write here. Then I forgot. =/ Anyone surprised? Least of all me.

So. I have a class about how autobiographies are lies. And I have to write the first page of my autobiography, here is what I came up with:

"I am one of the most boring people you will ever meet. Yet I can also be one of the most interesting. Meeting people is always tricky, you never know how they will react or if they're people you should befriend. Of course that depends on your preference for friends.

If you turn a corner and find me there, you would see an Asian girl seemingly fifteen years old. Youthful yet her eyes do not reveal her mind or any emotion at allunless she wants you to. Even then you cannot be sure.

Well, that is unsettling, you say. Strange, frightening even.

You should be scared.

Because I don't know how to act human. But I'm learning every day. "

Hehe, I wanted to push the concept that to tell the truth is to lie because it's impossible tell the whole truth. Instead of fabricating or telling white lies like most people do to make themselves look better, I wrote the above. You might call it brutal honesty, you might call it something else. Hehe.

Ugh...
Monday. 12.4.06 5:25 pm
mood: shaky but okay

Agh, I've got such a tummy-ache right now. >.< I just wanna burrow in my blanket, curl up, and nap. *yawn* Nice and cozy...now if only I had a hot water bottle to hug to me stomach, everything would be perfect. That and my mother allowing me to go turn on my lappie whenever I want (don't even think about internet). Which is why this is a quick post and then the lappie goes off until my mommy comes home and a couple of hours pass and I finally ask, "Mommy, can I turn on my lappie?"

See you then!

p.s.: She did?! Oh, that's awesome! XD Go Michelle(Trachtenburg)!
