Two beautiful movies i caught this month

Little Miss Sunshine and Eternal Summer



I bought the novel Eternal Summer when i was in Taiwan. Finally manage to catch the movie (thanks fo rain who copied it for me). I got really emo reading the novel to the extend im tearing when i got to the last few pages. The movie remains faithful to the book however the director cut off alot of parts from the original story, ending up being a 95mins film. Nevertheless still beautiful, the colour, the editing, the music...great soundtrack.

I never had such a hard time saying goodbye in my life. I miss my colleagues so so much. It really came to me that im not just leaving my job, but a big part of me for the past 2 and a half years.

The Oscar comittee shld have nominate me for putting up an animated cheery front when im actually crushing down inside. I was really touched was when one of my older colleague walked up to me and thanked me for teaching him the way to raise a credit adjustment, that was so long ago but he remembered. And this quiet lady colleague whom i start to exchange hellos whenever shes at the fax machine beside me pass a little red packet to me as a gesture of appreciation.

I think there has never been a better achievement in life to know you have made an impact (a positive one) on someone else life, especially to those you have never expected. Not a car, not a designer handbag or even a fat pay cheque can be compared.

There were more of these sweet moments i got from them on fri, so sweet i might be diabetic if subjected to long term exposure. lol

Being the youngest in the team, i really wanna thank you guys for your guidance, patience and tolerance for my stupid jokes and craps lol, most importantly for accompanying me down this road, my first lap out into this working world which lasted almost 30mths. I will travel alone for now but i do hope our path will be interwind again.




PS: to the fellowship of crc, greg, sus, jace and cat...our journey continues!

Totally unexpected but thanks so much Jos! Its really sweet. haha im damn happy. Its been years since i recieve flowers..hmm i really cannot remember when was the last time, anyways i know prolly all women staying in Telok Blangah Blk 21 recieve it from him as well, but i still like mine alot...white roses and wax with brown paper and purple sony ericsson ad wrapping, so garang! *big grin*
