gossips and politics
Monday. 1.19.09 9:18 pm
were just taunting benny last week about taking our (taxpayers) money to sleep in camp.

check out Mr Tan Yong Soon

the splurge (original article)
a $46,500 cooking course in paris

the backlash
rapped over cooking holiday

the damange control
Singapore's ministers and senior civil servants to recieve 20% paycut
they must be cursing mr tan under their breath.

i can see where monsieur tan is coming from, going align with the govnernment movement to promote upgrading and developing of skills during this difficult period, he decided to get pass just stir frying veggies and enroll himself into the 'harvard' of cooking world to improve his cooking skills.

the good news is, while his reputation as a senior civil servant is at 'steak' and open future possibilites of being grilled, equipped with his new skills he can always venture into F&B, opening up a restaurtant and serving other civil servants, all while his Le Cordon Bleu certificate framed and hanging proudly on the wall.

im going to bkk! and it only cost $265!

Caught this lesbian movie recently.

Candy Rain

wanted to watch karena lam, but her try-to-be-dyke performance looks sorry, even cyndi wang seems more man than her.
Made up of 4 stories, OCD-suffering Sandrine Pinna need for loneliness in story 2 feels abit tragic (shan think shes too cute to be lonely) and Story 3 nikki wu (aka spencer) is so sexy she stir a few heartbeats

watch worthy rating: when u need a break from kids, men and weddings.i choose twillight over this.

Hapi Buday 22nd to Benny!

post-gen-y
Monday. 1.12.09 6:27 am
seeing my sis reaction on her o's result just made me realize how wide a generation gap we have although we are all gen-Ys.

i believe they are a new hyrid of kids call the simpons generation. cynical, slack, unconventional and ambitious all package in one. they never sweat the big things and take pleasure in the small things unlike their earlier counterparts.

perhaps its the high amount of dooms-day films during this generation, or seeing their parents slog like hell for per square feet of living space, or maybe the accessbility to everyone anywhere via tools like msn/facebook. they might have realize life is too short to take it over-seriously and they are not alone.

im envious yet worried wat this will bring...

kenna dump
Wednesday. 1.7.09 7:37 am
i have fucking done with my semester assignments!! after endless research and countless cups of super thick coffee at 3ams, im done with phase one!

moving on to phase two, ive got my HRM paper this sat and Econs paper next sat. I'll be missing my cousin roger&geri wedding which is ta ma da de sianz. (Ying pls grab some pics for me)

have no time to blog abt lil nonya finale as im rushing my assignments.

well...have you ever met this perfect guy, sweet and charming, romance you with love letters and flowers, serenade you with walks at the beach, and breakfast in bed, put lil post-it notes around ur house to remind how he misses you (citing examples not writer's own perference)

then one day he just dump you without a reason.

this is what i felt when i watch the last episode of lil nonya.

the ending SUCKS! this is just a typical result of channel 8 script-writers trying to be creative and give the drama an alternate ending! this is not an indie movie pls! this is a primetime drama, well liked by my mother father and all other HDB tais tais for goodness sake.

i was nearly to the point of sending death threats to the scriptwriter when i decide, forget it, i did enjoy the 'romance' in the early part.

to the pian ju (script writer)
(stealing from robert chang)

ni hao jian!

caught this on national geographic yesterday. so darn adorable.

Donnie is a male Doberman featured in the National Geographic documentary, GENIUS DOGS. On the show, he is shown arranging some of his 80 plush toys into evenly-spaced triangles and lines, and chooses to use, for example, only stuffed frogs or monkeys for a particular design.
