started our day having nice Dim Sum for breakfast, was recommended by the hotel staffs, if you are staying near Yau Ma Tei MTR you shld be able to find the place easily. Total bill only 40 SGD! 10 SGD per person






head down to HK island, first stop is causeway bay.
some expensive shopping at times square first, bought some agnes b stuffs there since its cheaper than in SG. Peeps who goes where shld go to the basement Japanese supermarket. soo interesting.




its only a wednesday afternoon...hk ppl dun need to work?




down to beverly sogo and world trade centre. the beverly and the mall beside word trade are like fareast, with alot of small shops and their clothes comes in limited pcs but not cheap though




having some nice curry crepes outside word trade


must try!


set off to the peak for the night view in the late evening, waiting for cab outside times square...






went to the wax museum!!! we were so looking forward to it the whole day and its damn worth it, enterance is prolly less than 20SGD.

told the peak tram down. its so steep down the hill im seeing things outside the tram at 45 degrees.


late dinner at the Tung Kee


their famous roasted goose. the bill cost up to $140 SGD for 4 person and we didnt order alot, food are okay or maybe we didnt order the right dishes but will come again for the roasted goose!


has a stroll at Lan Kwai Fang which is just around the corner from the restaurant






wanted to go the famous central escalators but couldnt make it as we only plan 1 day for hk island..its macau on day 3!

so many movies i wanna catch but couldnt find the time...from bucket list, untraceable, orphanage, charlie benett and teeth (yes the black humour cult movie abt the vagina dementa myth)

rushing off to discovery centre for paintball at 3pm sharp (btw im working now) then its phuture at night for wilson's so call farewell party before hes off training in taiwan for 3 1 mth.

DAY 1
Tuesday 18 March

was having a really really bad flu, didnt have much pictures of me because i look like someone had just punch my nose. Stayed in Kowloon on day 1, explore mongkok in the afternoon and tsim sha tsui at night.

hk airport, taking airport train to kowloon station. one single trip is 90HKD = 16SGD, not cheap, we ended up taking a taxi back to airport on the last day because its cheaper for 4.


stayed in YMCA International House which is just a 3 mins walk from Yau Ma Tei MTR station

HK famous fish eggs but they are actually fish balls.

dinner at this HK fastfood diner. Extremely bad service. Dont patronize them unless you have very good memory and is good in chinese because their menu is just beside the enterance, you need to memorize it and order at the cashier which is at the other end. cashier gets irriated when cant say out your order in seconds.

took a walk down haji lane while waiting for my colleague to end work. (me was sent to some company course for two days) i totally feel like sniggering when i saw things i bought from hk being marked up as much as 5 times in those shos. i know all your cheap sources you.....

if u think im nt typing right, u are right. im abit high.

after 4 and a half bottle of Heineken all fumes were put out. what turns out to be let-me-intro-my-fren-to-you session became a free-flow-beer-drinking session which is what i need most now....

im back

to think i was wandering my way through the foreign street names and rushing the traffic with all the similar yet unfamiliar faces a few days ago...to clearing the 248 unread messages in my outlook inbox this morning, it just takes seconds to have everything (reality) falls in place nicely and neatly in life like you have never left before.

but so is life...we cant just pack up and go (can we?) and im not one to go against it, not at the moment.

when will be my next holiday.....
