finally caught Daisy by Andrew Lau (infernal affairs), featuring Jun Ji-Hyun. I liked her from watching her first movie Il-mare instead of My Sassy Girl. I guess the director thinks the same because this movie reminds me a little of the Jun Ji-Hyun from Il-mare. The whole movie spells bittersweet, which is how I prefer my movie endings...

The first few days of this week is bitch. Wanted to blog about my weekend but im so drained at the end of the day i just wanna comatose once i reach home. Sometimes i cant help but curse my colleagues who take mcs and urgent leave irresponsibly. to hell on teamwork.

Cursing my colleagues on one end, ive been meeting up with many ex-colleagues the past few days. Colleagues from the old/current company, catching up at roadside durian stalls to the super chill rooftop cafe at scarlet hotel. Apart from feeling slightly dispirited hearing how they have proceed to score a better job and career than me right now -_-
its feels specially warm to connect with people you used to be so close with.

as bad as it sounds...im someone who moves on well. I've learn to accept people come and go in our lives and good memories though good should just be reminisce than revisited because eventually, everyone moves on. I tell myself i should be glad they were once part of my life than to brood over the happy times lost...BUT still...meeting them few days ago make me realize how much i missed the times we spent together :(

Spent my sat morning celebrating children's day with the kids at the singapore children society, together with Rus and the others who volunteered. Rus ordered in buffet, and brought in a magician (who is a scammer! and only know how to swallow balloons) while we gave out new school shoes we sponsored to the kids.
Stupid BATA got the shoe sizing wrong and half of the kids ended up with super big shoes! There this little kid name Kunbir, who got a of pair shoe at least 3 times bigger his size. When i went to him to take back the shoes the kid tried so hard to convinced me it will fit after wearing socks (many of them), so he can keep his new shoes! soooooo cute. I guess not all kids are devil's spawn afterall lol.

one of the most pricey and doped birthday dinner so far. the bill was a whopping $320 for 4 pax *gulp* 11 dishes which consist sabu sabu premium beef, a $13 oyster + snow crab + lobster filled chawamushi (the most expensive steam egg i ever i had), super fresh sashimi platter, soft shell crab fried rice with cream crab sauce and others. okay enough. some of the pics below.

i think ive gotten the birthday blues...4 days to hitting 25.

not that im dreading being a year older, even if i did i've allow myself to come to terms by now since i've long considered myself 25 at the start of this yr.

so wats the blues about? seriously idk. i cant explain it, nor why ive been in a hideout mode recently. rus told me i'll be okay after the day. i certainly hope so!

unable to escape overseas this yr due to economical reasons and assignment deadlines (ive got an assignment due on my bday itself...damn) ive decided birthday this year will be a fuss free event, no celebrations or parteh, perhaps some impromptu dinners but please keep your wishes coming in homies and it will make my day. i swear.

i just got to know my dear fren wilson got into a mini car accident from his blog.

*sigh*

i have a love hate affair with technology. i rely so much on my msn that i don't call my friends anymore. im being force fed information i dont really want to know from fb that i start to get paranoid of what i post myself. i done most of my shopping online these days i stop going out to explore, and yesterday my webhost for my blogshop went down on me, driving me to spend nearly 100 bucks in a night to migrate to another host, and i haven even cash in any orders this month. Also i have not going to movies much these days because ive been watching them online, which im gonna do in a min.

as much as i value my own time and privacy, i think everyone life has this bar-o-meter like pet society, where the pet happiness level will increase when it having interaction with other pets and it get richer and more popular with more visit to other pets.
