I am still sick.

I'm supposed to be going to class right now. I'll leave in two minutes.

My test went well yesterday.

I have a meeting for embedded at one, I still haven't done my pre-work because I've been busy with other stuff... Stupid embedded.

I love how I have a topic, and I went to research it, and I find stuff by the teacher... that's published.. in October.

Stupid, stinky, I can't breathe, sick.

I don't want soup for it either, soup is creepy.

Dave was going to give me a supersmooch yesterday, but then I told him I was sick.
So he gave me a supersmooch... on my cheek. He said it was creepy. I thought it was cute.

My friend IMs me today to say that someone's been diagnosed with mumps.

Later, I get the following email:

A classmate of yours has been diagnosed with a probable case of mumps.
You are strongly encouraged to review your own medical histories to ensure immunizations are complete - 2 doses of the MMR vaccine.

If you are unsure of your status, call Schiffert Health Center Medical Records (540) 231-8104 8am - 5pm, Monday-Friday or 9am - 12pm, Saturday.

Now I'm going to die for sure. Ranor and Debi have suggested that, while I'm going to die, I should be glad that I don't have testicles to swell up and make me sterile... Though If I die, Dave could catch mumps and his testicles would swell up and he would be sterile... and now I'm just being insane. I'll stop now.

There's no 'w' in it!

Anyway. I bought a coffee maker. It does pods, tea, and grounds. It even comes with coupons that expire in June of 2006. All for 6.25.

Now I need some coffee pods for it. There's the coffee all the other groups sent the VT Episcopal Youth group after four-sixteen/the tragedy/the April 16 incident/Va Tech (:p). Guess they figured after shit went down, they needed coffee. I don't know that anyone here drinks coffee. Maybe I'll take the instant stuff over to my dorm now. I'd still need a mug, though.

Any suggestions on coffee?

Considering my previous posts, I was stricken with a quandary.

After the Pearl Harbor attack in 1941, did the media refer to it in other news as "incidents like December 7"? Did they just say "Pearl Harbor"? Why doesn't the media say "December 7" or "twelve-seven" in reference to it?

Was the media always this ridiculous?
