So I've decided:

I'm going to spend this violin money on the adapter, and save up this money for the entire year.

Then at the end of the year, I WILL buy the violin.

It's just that now, at this point in time, all of the violins on ebay are going for at least 40 dollars, and I'm trying to pay for it with ReveNue.

My brother left with his cousin, good, he's out of my hair, bad, he picks up all of his ass-tacular mannerisms. Ugh. At least if I go anywhere... chances are I'll get to go by myself. Unless her highness decides to tag along. :/ And yell at me from the back seat, because she doesn't know where she's going.

I'm not sure which is worse, her driving, and I have to make sure she doesn't go the wrong way (e.g., left is < and right is >, not the other way around), or me driving, with her yelling at me to go this way, go slower (when I'm five below the limit), stop here, find there, slow down (when I'm 10 below the speed limit), slow down (when I'm going 30, the nearest car is a good 100+ feet ahead of me and applying it's brakes, and I've already started applying mine)... Oi.

You know, it's funny how the whole world seems to celebrate a holiday that most of the world technically doesn't believe in.

So.

I'm thinking of giving up my current quest for the violin.

They all go for way more than a total of 22.91... I can either hoard it until I get another 21 dollars, or I can blow it on something else.

Since I'm somewhat wanting a DDR pad, I'd end up getting a PS2 pad, and I'd need a controller -> usb adapter. That's 18 dollars shipped at play-asia.
I got a 30 dollar gift card to the great evil, and 30 dollars cash, so I could put that towards a shiny pad that I would have to exorcise.

This one's ten dollars shipped. Descrip says it's DDR-patible. Page says some people have had iffies with it.

Time to keep looking

That doesn't explain why I'm getting headaches similar to those when I was in middle school, the kind that make me grate my teeth and want to tear flesh. The kind the feel like someone is gouging out my eyes with a grapefruit spoon.

Seriously, I know I talk a lot, but damn. If it's quiet, then usually the silence is broken with a "Hrm."

Of course, I'm not allowed to become annoyed with anyone, regardless of the fact that they are pissing me off, because it's all my fault because apparently I don't get enough sleep.

Well with people talking loudly, TVs running ALL THE TIME, and PEOPLE FUCKING YELLING AT UNGODLY HOURS IN THE MORNING, I don't think my sleep is going to be all that great in the first place.

Though they're a bit obvious, I'm going to define the categories.

Telly is anything television related. If it's been a live-action series on T.V. then it counts. Direct to TV movies go here. Adam West as Batman goes here. Smallville, Live action "The Tick", etc, goes here.

Movie is anything movie related. If it's been released in theatres, then it counts. If it was originally based on a series, then it goes under either Telly or Animation. TV movies don't count. A Scanner Darkly goes here. Angelina Jolie Lara Croft goes here. Michael Keaton Batman goes here. Chris Reeve Superman goes here. Disney Princesses go here.

Animation is ALL animation, sans original movie animations(Cars, Chicken Little, etc). If it's from a movie based on an anime/cartoon, then it goes here. If the animation is unique to a movie, then it goes in Movie. Comic book characters go here as well, unless they're being portrayed by an actor, then they go in their respective categories. Adam West Batman goes in Telly, Halle Berry Storm goes in Movie.

Video Games. Video Game characters go here. If it's obvious that a character is a game character (pixellated or whatever), then it can go here. If it's just a character that happens to be in a video game, but they aren't in video game format, then it goes in a different category. Live Action Lara Croft Goes in Movie. Video game Lara Croft Goes here. Angelina Jolie goes in people. Sprites from video games go here.

Animals is obvious. All animals. Hand drawn, photographed, etc., if it's an animal, it goes here. Animated animals (e.g.,Pen Pen, Menchi, Tweety, Bugs, Chicken Little) don't go here. Wishbone and Frasier's dog go in Telly.

People. This is for people, obviously. Actors not acting, pop stars, friends, family. Hugh Laurie is fine; House, M.D. is not. Funky Anime Jacko would go here, because he is a modified person. If the person is in "costume," then they belong in their respective category.

Things is day to day things. Cars, houses, exercise machines, shoes... Computers... Junk. Socks.

Art. Hand drawn, abstract, whatever, you've made it all. Things like razzly's comics here. Syndicated/web comics go under animation.

Since there are so many categories, there will be a best of category, who will win the prize, and runner ups, who get the satisfaction of knowing they made a good avatar. The prize will be set at 150pps per category, with a 10 pps entry fee for four categories, with 2 pps for each category over four.
