yet another weekend has gone by in a flash, even though all i have done in that very short 2 days and 1 night has been dota, nearly getting throttled to death by fatass whilst playing monopoly ,watching yet another bball game and ktv.

seems like quite alot but actually i dont feel like having done anything significant at all. probably because its just too short, those 2 days of weekend at the end of every work week.. kind of feel empty after it all, every week, even though i did enjoy myself at ktv, bball games, dota and the occasional billiard and bowling sessions.

damn, i wonder why, i really do. either i need a longer weekend; which isnt really quite possible at all, or i need to totally change my life. just that i dont knw how, when and what. sian.

finally got a new comp, after so long. wouldn't have happened though, if the old one hadn't broken down at just the right moment.

oh well, nvm tt. got quite a gd bargain for this new one. had it assembled at sim lim after choosing all the specific stuff i wanted..cool. hehe, now i can finally play dota and other games at home. lol

Shit, its monday again, and I fucking hate mondays. I'm not sure why, but most probably its because mondays signify the start of yet another mundane work week, 52 in all in a year.

I'm not sure about the rest of the working class folks out there, but from an impromptu office survey i've done, i can conclude that the rest of my fellow colleagues feel the same way about black monday as i do. Call it the monday blues or whatever you like, but it still boils down to the same thing, mondays suck.

Its been like this every week in the last 20 years of my life, ok, mayb 15, since I started gg to pri sch, to be fair enough, mondays are quite decidedly the bane of my life. I would wake up on monday morning and feel the total sian-ness of it all, and proceed to drag myself forcefully out of my comfy bed and do the whole hygiene routine, blah blah, and drag my feet to work, sch or camp.

In recent years, i'm even starting to dislike sundays, esp since I went into the saf for my mandatory 2 years of conscription..cos sundays means book in day for me.. at least for 1 year plus that was, but not until I chao-kenged my way out of some xiong combat unit i was in..made my life so much easier after that..

however, that doesnt necessarily mean that i will like mondays one bit at all..cos ever since i ord-ed and started working, its been even more of a chore to drag myself out of bed on monday mornings after a weekend of fun usually involving dota, pool, billiard, bowling, ktv and basketball. not necessarily in that order though.

I would really love to have mondays banished off the calendar forever, but if that actually happens, i'll just start hating tuesdays instead..which just really serves to remind myself of my miserable existence and the fact that i cant siam the mundane work week after all. So i guess the only viable solution left is for me to strike toto and win like 10 million bucks, and just sit at home kiao kah all day and enjoy the even more boring life of not having to work for money. hah.

So yeah, at the end of it all, i still hate mondays.

after 1 month of chionging dota almost everyday, stimes up to even 5 or 6am in the morning on wkends, i think i'm finally sick of it liao. somehow don't feel the excitement and adrenaline rush anymore, not even when i achieve "beyond godlike" status in the game.. cos comp is like so easy to kill.

however that doesn't necessary mean that i'm too good or anything, cos i still suck compared to many dota greats out there; i get my ass owned even when i play kids 2, 3 years younger than me. hah. but nairmind, i think i'm gg to take a break fr dota liao..kinda sian liao really. lol.

7 bored guys, saturday nite..nowhere to go, having supper at the kopitiam near our homes, discussing dota strategies and what to do with our time. guess what we ended up doing?

ttz rite, playing monopoly at one of the more deserted 2nd storey lift landings in one of the blocks near our usual hangout. and i mean monopoly, as in the board game tt many of us no doubt used to play in pri sch. lmao even as i think back abt what just transpired 12 hrs ago.

nvm who brought it down, fact is, some of us haven't played the game in like at least 10 years...and suddenly here we are, playing. needless to say, we started kind of slow, since many of us forgot the rules and all, and needed refreshing our memories.

but once we got to mid game, it was actually quite exciting, everyone was haggling over the price of certain properties they wanted to buy or sell; i even ended paying 4 times the original price for a piece of land i needed in order to complete my monopoly of a particular and start building houses. lol.

so, the 7 of us played all the way fr 12 mn until abt close to 5am..5 farking hrs!~ wth sia..i nv imagined that we would play so long. one by one, players went bankrupt and took their places on the sidelines to watcg the continuing property battle raging in the ring. sebast was so shag tt he just fell aslp on the floor at ard 3 plus to 4am lidat. by then, final contenders left were myself, elwin, and gong cb..lol..alvin even took up the position of financial adviser to gong cb after he went bust.

and when gong cb finally went bust too, both elwin and myself were too sick of it to continue, so we just ended the game..w/o determining who actually won..which was kinda of ambiguous too, since either of us could have won if we continued, because of my immense amts of properties and buildings and elwin's tons of cash. hahah.

thinking back, it was nt too bad, as i think we do need sth else to entertain ourselves lidat once in a while instead of always bball, billiard and dota.
