today, went for the vocational assignment thingy at pasir ris camp. woke up bloody early to take bus to tampines den change train to pasir ris, where we were suppose to wait for the bus to pick us up and ferry off to pasir ris camp. tt bugger weixiang, tell him meet at the bus stop at my hse at 715 to take the bus to tampines, coz alvin meeting us at pasir ris 815~ when i called him at 715 he juz left his hse...%$@#%^$*#%..

reached pasir ris camp in the end, first thing, physical and pyschomotor test, they split us into two grps, mine did the psychomotor first, wx and alvin physical first..did rather badly for the pyschomotor one, coz all balance and stuff one, and everyone noes i suck at it.

physical, got four stations, sit ups, pull ups, push ups, and standing broad jump. did rather well at all of them, except standing broad jump, which i only barely made the grade. nvm tt, as they say in commando, physical can train one, so train lor, if i really get in, den all the more i gotta train.

interview wasn't too bad, the officer who interviewed me was pretty amiable, talk cock here and there, blah blah yada yada...talked to him for a good 20 mins i think, got answers to some of my qns abt army and commandos, and ttz abt it.

lolz, think i may have a high chance of gg into commandos bah, coz the officer keep saying they wan ppl with keen and positive attitude towards the vocation inside commandos, nt to mention tt bugger weixiang keep saying i sure will go in one, first wad "1 leg into commandos" when i did rather well for the physical, den "both legs inside commandos" when i spent 20 odd minutes in the interview.

killer was the pyschology test tt followed, which also summed up the whole day at pasir ris camp. really, NO BRAINER ar, the test, first was five sets of 12 pattern recognition questions, den came two more sets, one 150 qn long asking abt how u cope with stress, den another 185 long, with 170 personality qns and 15 simple problem solving ones, and all do with OAS, the optical answer sheet thingy tt we all did so frequently back in secondary. seriously, by the end of the thing, i was drained, nt to mention goddamned hungry, since i went on an empty stomache.

while waiting for the bus to pick us up and send us back to civilazation, wx commented tt he's starting to feel the gloom of serving ns le, the lack of human vibrance and life all ard us, and the separation from civilation, esp in tt big and somewhat empty camp, at least if there were soldiers training there, it wouldn't have felt so jialat...somehow, both alvin and me agreed with wad wx said, altho if i am gg to choose a career in army next time, then i definitely cannot avoid such a life, so if i do eventually get in or sign on, den will have to adapt as best as i can le.

and so ends the day at pasir ris camp, the commando selection thing, really took quite long, we were there all the way from 9 to 2, was seriously starving by the time we got back~lunched with alvin and wx at white sands and watched i do i do with wx at plaza sing after tt, which alvin opted to take a miss. the show was quite a no brainer too, with cheap jokes all throughout, and some subtle jabs at the current state of the society. still, it was pretty funny, tho i wouldn't say it's one of the best productns of jack neo...home after tt, finally, feeling kind of beat now too..haha..

as for the commando thing, i'll give it a rest for now, since i ald tried my best there today, if i get in~ok lor, den cheong liao!! if not, nvm, there's always others like guards or artillery etc tt i can hope to get into. like wad alvin said, it'll be gd i go to commandos, as it'll help to shape my attitude and character for the better, nt to mention the extreme physical training which is good too..haha, guess will have to start keeping fit from now on le..

Last nite was great! Went to see the mmsp 04/05 den out with ah bang, laoda, wilbie, bao qi, and jackie aka *mrs goh?* after tt. lets start from the beginning.

MMSP
was supposed to meet up with laoda for dinner at clementi at 4, but he msg at 3 say he got sth to do, cannot turn up, so meet str at dover at 5 with the rest. ok, got to dover, met up with laoda, bq, miss india and her fren den went in chop seat first, coz apparently our former miss sp's family coming to see the event also.

finally inside the convention centre, the place auditorium was so damn big, and grand~k, i sua kua la, nv c the place before, much less go inside. nvm tt, at the start was kinda sian, since we got there too early, den juz seat ard talk cock look at the booklet all tt.

show finally started, contestants looked alrite, altho all of us unanimously agreed tt as compared to the last year batch, they all cmi la, esp the guys, in terms of build and looks, the last year batch sure win them hands down. tt aside, the performance they put up wasn't tt great either, esp the special talent, apart from some really stand out one like the puppet show and dance put up by F4 and M6 who were eventually crowned the winners, the rest was kinda below expectations, one guy even sang an jing so badly we all booed him, haha.

back to the show, i think the 6 bucks we paid was well worth it la, coz of the segment put up by mark lee and co from jack neo's comedian bunch~ it was very entertaining, mark lee even sang shao nian ying xiong~hahaha, our previous miss sp muz have been damn song when he sang tt...lolz! nt forgetting of coz, the torch lite dance or wad ever it is called put up by the last year mmsp batch, it was fantastic! definitely better than all the other performances put by the current batch. ok, after 4 hrs, results finally came out, as expected, F4 and M6 were the winners~hahah, think miss india veri happy tt her M6 got first also!

Alley Bar
after mmsp ended, me, laoda and bq took cab down to orchard to meet up with wilson, jackie and ah bang for drinks and chatting, at alley bar. haha, first time i been to the place, so yeah, i guess i AM veri sua ku la, but nvm. while we were there, wilson like siao one, keep ordering drinks. think he had a cocktail before we got there, den after tt he had another waterfall and johnnie walker on rocks. siao lian eh, u wan to spend all ur 100 bucks pay also no nid lidat rite? can always buy us drinks all rd if u think u too much money, ha! ha! ha! ha!

anyway, after tt, he started sprouting nonsense liao la, and i got shoot left rite centre as a result also. nvm, i learnt how to play five ten there also, another game tt sua ku me dunno how to play. guess is beginner's luck, i kp winning wilson, den he had to keep eating chips as forfeit. after tt, played 7-up, ah bang kenna so many times tt i lost count! game ended, wanted to order some more drinks, but someone suggested go 7-11 buy drinks and chill someplace, more economical ba. after some debate, ended up at esplanade. haha yeah, the place tt i forever will rmbr, coz of the incident tt happened nearly a year before, at the same spot where we were sitting last nite. hahaha!

Esplanade
took cab to esplanade, six of us split into two, i went with wilbie and jackie, the rest with laoda. haha, our cab, suay siao, the uncle confused the route, end up we dropped off in front of marina mandarin, had to walk one big round to han's there where we were supposed to meet up and buy drinks from the 7-11 next to it. they were selling e33 at 9.50 for 2, quite cheap, so we all got tt.

sit there juz talk cock, i kinda forgot wad we talked abt in the beginning, only rmbr tt dunno from wad time onwards, somehow, we started talking abt ghost la, and all those other spooky encounters with the third kind tt we either heard abt from frens or experienced ourselves. mostly was laoda, wilson and me doing the talking, coz 3 of us noe all those army ghost stories tt we hear from frens in the army all the time...

hahah, most memorable was the "stand-by organ" story of wilson's, whooo, tt one, really spooked the gers i think, coz the bugger added another part to the story, simi "gru, gru, let me out!" hahaha! everyone was getting more and more engrossed in the story, den when he suddenly went "bang!"~when sergeant in the story opened the cupboard, wa, everyone jumped, ah bang who was sitting next to me literally jumpep and crashed into me, ha! ha! ha! ha! think only one who wasn't truly shocked was laoda, coz being someone who's been to army ald, he would have heard his share of stories ald, so definitely is nth to him, and nt to mention the "stand-by organ" story was also quite well known, i had heard it myself many times, juz nv heard of the last part made up by wilson, so yeah, i shivered abit when he went "bang!!" lolz..

haha, ttz how we continued on until morning, trading spooky stories and talking cock, got stories from our former schools la, or other unrelated places or wad la, lolz..all the way until nearly 6 am, when everyone damn stoned liao, we all took cab back, gotta admit i was abit ma bo by then, even tho i din drink alot, hahah, guess i cant hold my liquor too well.. so instead of taking mrt, which i had originally wanted to do, since ald stayed up till 6 liao, i opted to take cab back, heng is normal charge only.. reached home, crashed immediately on the bed, zzzz until 1pm, miraculously managed to wake up by myself. wrote this super long entry, now i think i want to go back slp awhile more before meeting laoda and miss india~oops, shld be mrs sp 04/05 liao, for movie later. hahaha, last nite was great, truly enjoyed myself...adios for now!

today is the day of the dreaded napfa test!! lol, went for it, and as expected, failed. basically, everyone else who went failed la. but den, i actually passed pull ups when i din expect to, and everyone except one failed the 2.4, mayb coz the return leg of the route was all uphill..

haha, was talking with wynn abt gg to train everyday now, but then again..i think gg ptp's nt such a bad thing after all. coz even if i train, but only manage to get a silver marginally, which is only a juz pass for army standard, i think i'll still suffer when i go bmt..so rather, i think i wun mind gg ptp, if worse comes to worse, i fail again the next time round, coz at least there the 6 extra weeks will serve to really train me up with a tight regime, and nt like my own training, which is like totally no schedule wadever and veri inconsistent, lolz.

afterwards, went with wilbie to watch the ivp bball matches at fc 5 there~ damn exciting..sp trashed rp by abt 40 pts lidat, wheeee!! but tt was nt the really exciting one, the nice one was the np vs ite combined one, ite got a guy from my neighbourhood one, lets juz say tt altho he's like veri big shot when he plays with the kids here at my block, he was really nth during the match~altho he was a starter, he got subbed off after a few minutes. hah. anyway, the no. 8 player from ngee ann was damn good! heard from wilbie he was the mvp in jurong last time. no doubt he lived up to his former title, coz his plays were simply si bei sui ar!! esp his 3 pointers, first half he had like 3, two of them his trademark fadeaways. the last one was the monster, a buzzer beater abt 1 metre from the 3 pt line and fadeaway over the defender! wow, i was like damn stunned when i saw tt, machiam nba! needless to say, the whole np bench was up cheering for him after tt shot. but tt was all we got to see, coz we were supposed to meet alvin for dinner in clementi, and because we were so glued to our seats watching the match, we had to take a cab to meet him, haha...anyways, met up, had dinner, talk cock, den go hm liao, which ends my day...and its been quite a nice one, i say~hahaha

today is vday~ well, nth special really, for myself at least, since i have always spent it more or less the same in 20 years~with me, myself and me, hah.

this year was slightly different, met up with wilbie, jackies, gabby and alvin for dinner. had the ma you ji at clementi~yummy..after which wilson drove the lot of us ard looking for some place to spent the nite...went ard cbd area for damn long before we settled for new asia bar at swissotel stamford. haha, haben been there before, heard tt its pretty nice, so shld be quite an experience. hah, na ni zhi dao, reached there cannot go up coz of age limit. end up settled at introbar at the grd floor, ordered drinks and sit there talk cock sing song, but nv play mahjong..nt that i noe how to anyway, tho alvin they all were itching to play, lol.

sat there until 930 lidat, then split and go home liao, well, nth special or exciting really, but at least its over le, so ttz tt..lol.

today, chu san, third day of cny..veri veri sian...been so since ytd since all my visiting done on chu yi le.

anyway, woke up at noon as usual, slack ard, play game until 4, go northpt with sebast to jalan~the horny bugger wanted to bio char bo, so i went along, since nth to do also. evening was supposed to go alvin hse for drinking/gambling session, was quite anticipative of it actually, even tho i've been losing money at cards the last two days, nt alot, but still lose is lose, nth to be happy, nor sad abt. turn out, alvin hse too crowded le, so i opted nt to go, let sebast go with bro mak, i play bball for a while at the court next to my block.

got back, btbm ppl msg me abt the report~ im kinda pissed with them for informing me only at the last minute of everything, when they got all the time in the world to inform since they met up on monday while i was working. sian, the worse thing is they like to play taiji, push here push there, and also assume tt i'll do this or tt without telling me beforehand at all..guess i shld be more tolerant at this age , but i still cant stand it ttz all. heng wadever they wan i can still manage.
