woke up early (for a saturday) today to go hiking at macritchie with nic and jen. pretty fun in fact, wad i would call low expenditure outdoor entertainment. and its exercise too! haha. too bad no one else could join us, or else it would be much more fun.

we started off at macritchie, following the trail inward to the treetop walk, talking cock and observing the wildlife in the forest, not tt there was really much of it..saw a few butterflies ttz all. we did see one pretty exotic one along the way and tried to take pictures of it, but too bad the lighting too bad and nic's cam cant zoom either so forgot abt it. rite, after dunno how long, think was one hr plus, we finally got to the tree top walk, which was well, nt really tt fun la, so erh, can say we been there, done tt lor, hahaha. i was actually expecting those suspension bridges out of some indiana jones movie but too bad it wasn't. damn. still the view up there was pretty nice.

haha, the trail after the tree top walk was pretty long, so long tt we started getting sian of it, and nic started getting crappy, trying to act like some sort of fearless expedition leader leading his little scouts out of the forest, hah..(-_-;) and den we got to jelutong tower, which was along the way, and saw alot of monkeys! haha, really alot, think there's like a whole colony of them there, and of coz we took some pics of them. as were many other ppl, so much so tt nic was saying the monkeys are gg to start charging us for pictures next time round..haha. got to the top of the tower~ fantastic view! can see quite a long way, and i think can actually see junction 8 also, haha. it was then tt this stupid bee started bugging us, and we experienced a tricia moment, hahah. seriously, it followed us all the way from the top of the tower back to the bottom..blady hell, irritating fellow. think jen was quite freaked out by it too. haha.

walked back to macritchie after tt, to the entrance to the forest trail, where we finally saw some real wildlife~monitor lizards! two of them in fact, tho nt veri big, but still fascinating enuf to see them hunting for food among the grass..again, when we tried to take pictures of them, our big, intrusive movements scared them off. bleah.. so ttz it for our little macritchie expedition..planning to go bukit timah next week and ubin to cycle week after next. any takers?

Results came out today. Checked them in the office during lunch time today. before tt, i was all kan cheong. and ok, my worst fear....did not come true! i passed everything!!! hahaahahah! wheee!! truly graduate loh! but sian, will be coming back to graduation ceremony in july in no. 4 and botak! hahah. 64 days to go!

went gymming with terence today. before tt went for a 8 rd run at the stadium..really ar..buay tahan. the way terence run, machiam its nt a warm up run but 2.4 instead. gawd, i was really pushing it to even keep up with his pace. and den i heard his 5 click timing is like 22 mins!! wth..and i tot i can do like 27- 28 min is alrite liao. basket..when am i gg to be able to run like he does?

damn..im really worried now tt i wun make it when i go inside commandos sia. but terence keep assuring me go inside sure can improve tremendously de. but im nt so sure..im kind of stuck in a rut rite now, pull ups and running aint improving, even tho i keep at them consistently. and tt is also the reason for my recent loss of motivation to train. crap..oh. and i heard somewhere tt for those who actually train regularly before ns..u wun really improve tt much even when u go inside and get subjected to their hell training. damn..kind of hoping its nt true..else i cant bank on getting much more fitter when i go inside..bleah.

blah! im blabbering too much le..forget it. juz buck up and cheong i guess..pa si buay toh! hahahah!

slacked the day away at home. ok, more like half the day, coz it was ald noon when i woke up. result being i slpt at 4 last nite after dinner at tiong bahru mkt, ktv at clementi partyworld and supper at swee choon tim sum~ hmmm, the lo mai kai there really rocks! next time can go there eat again, haha.

anyway, lunched with nicholas at the mcdonalds near my hse, coz he came all the way to look for the adecco job referral agency~ only to find it closed on a ph, argh. too bad for him, quite cham also la, i suppose, after seeing his entry on difficulty in finding jobs.

had wanted to go with laoda they all to east coast cycle and wad not actually, but i opt out last nite, coz being the only one from 04 there, i feel blady extra and out of place, so forget it. damn! i wish our class had such unity as 05~ seems like they are always having lots of class outings. but too bad la, the rift between the different grps in our class is too big le. say for example, my clique of guys may be on for anything, but jen's clique of girls~ she's the only on one among them. then again, yt's clique got different interest from the rest, and they are also more closely bonded with their yr 1 class..oh, and i rather nt mention, but the worst is doris and co. ~ fucking anti social, every outing we have they dun wan to come, machiam they are so tua pai or wad..arghh..nvm. forget it.

anyway, after lunching with nicholas, decided to rent a movie go home watch so as to pass time. rented SWAT, starring samuel l. jackson, colin farrel, blah blah. nice movie, lots of action, shooting and wad not. only bad thing i find is its gratuitous potrayal of violence~ as in, the cops inside the show juz shoot first and ask questions later, all the time. gawd, with such stuff being potrayed in movies, its no wonder america is seen as the gun crazy nation. and another thing is, they are always potraying the afro americans as the baddies who commit crimes, ytd when i was watching XXX 2 its like so, in SWAT, its still like so..really, wtf do these film makers have against afro americans? true, they are seen as the bunch frm the gutters who commit petty crimes, but im sure its only one side of them, coz they also do alot of good for america itself~ aren't alot of the athletes who bring glory to america in olympics and wadever games black also? so i seriously cannot fathom what these blady filmmakers have against them, and i also cant goddamn stand such segregation. and dun get me wrong, im nt being an advocate for racial equalism or wadnot, i juz feel pissed off abt the apartheid still present in america in this day and age...

but nvm it, another thing im currenrly worried abt is i wun be able to make it when i enlist, coz of my lack of focus, abilities wad not. when i initially got my enlistment letter stating tt im gg sch of commandos, i was like damn happy and enthu, now it seems tt the initial euphoria i felt is being replaced by a sense of loss, lack of confidence, so much so tt i am even losing enthusiasm to train..and i heard tt wynn is also gg thru sth similar...really, i wonder why. arghhhh!!!

had zhi bao ji for dinner at jurong east again with alvin and chang hong juz now. ahah, might as well, since i was practically rotting at home anyway. gd thing tt im working weekdays, or it'll definitely be worse. hah

played pool at je entertainment centre after tt. gawd! got trashed by alvin left right center. and i couldn't even win chang hong properly~ only won when he pot the black ball by accident. no offense to chang hong, but i had the perception tt im better at pool than him, if only slightly..but now it seems i've been too full of myself all this while.wtf.

oh, and i always tot one gets better with practice..seems its nt so for me in pool, coz i juz played ytd..so by right shld be alrite de, turns out im even worse today than ytd when i played at bk timah plaza with wilson and bradley. fuck. in fact, i got worse today as the hrs wore on...my gawd. it seems i aint improving at all. bball too. i think im even losing out to those kids in my neighbourhood who were inferior last time. and now all of them are playing for their schools, external clubs and wad not. but then again. i haven't been playing for sometime, and i dun even practice at all..so heck la. oh yeah, im also suddenly losing my enthusiasm when it comes to training up for ns. lidat i sure die when i go in. and its cdo somemore..arghhhhhh!!! fuck it! i suck and i noe it. crap. enuf griping. readers: pls juz ignore me ok. thanks.

haven't been blogging for a few days..due to work..haha, too tired after work and juz went to slp..also nth much to blog abt la anyway.

well, today, i applied for leave for work to go view the mmit finals in school, since alot of my frens are in, so basically, went to view the show and support sheng and all the rest. it was good, truly an eye opener..i cant say for the DE side, since i was in mlt 12 viewing the samsung presentations all the way..and it was really good..but mayb the final results were kinda disappointing..coz the supposedly nt so good teams won, but still, its over, and everyone tried their best, so congrats everyone, and hope there aren't any regrets..

anyway, after prize presentations, everyone stayed back to take some photos and view this video tt laoda had made, sort of some photo compilation of 05 as a class, i muz say, he's pretty good to have made sth like this, altho its like filled all over with miss sp's photos la..hahaha, so qiao sia...

went for lunch with sheng, bradley, wil and jac after the whole thing ended; at bukit timah food centre or sth..near ngee ann there, den pool after lunch at bukit timah plaza..nt bad eh..bradley kai siao one, i din noe bk timah there got such a nice pool parlour..pretty good la. played for 2 hrs..and altho i dare say i have improved slightly, but still, pretty sucky la..took bus home after tt, dunno why, damn tired, fell aslp onboard and overslpt one stop..and when i wanted to get down..the driver fucking attitude problem ar. nei si dun wan to open the back door, make everyone alight from the front..wtf.

so erh, ttz abt it, another day in my boring life. but one thing i gotta say still, the year twos who got forced to come back to view the finals today; as we were last year~ their behaviour was totally rowdy and unacceptable, damn disrespectful. gawd, i am appalled tt the future of spsb mm is gg to be filled with such ppl, wad a disgrace!
