Sunday. 11.14.04 hah, been two days since i started working at nike le...hmm, wad can i say abt it? nth much, except tt its pretty slack, coz nt much customers~many juz come and browse ard but hardly ever buy, so end up most of the time i juz stand ard or walk ard the place..and with the slackness also comes boredom...haha..today so boring i stand until my feet pain..initially tot is public holiday will be alot of ppl, but end up only quite little, think muz be the obscure location of the shop, coz when i told many of my frens i work at nike wheelock, they all say: "har? wheelock got nike meh?"
haha, ttz abt it la..but the good thing is still can buy stuff at discount, and the hrs are long, which means tt even tho the pay rates only the standard 5 bucks, i can still secure a reasonable amt at the end of one full day...lolz..
anyway, met wynn for dinner today, he was working at taka basement selling toys. initially, he told me to eat first den go find him coz he cannot leave his counter~too bz..but end up when i was on my way to taka via wisma i tu tio him. and he did sth veri funny when we met up..he tried to play matchmaker. blady hell, coz he was with this ger colleague of his, so when we met up, he suddenly turn ard ask if the ger single not, den say: "u single, he single, goood..." siao!!!heng when i nv respond he got sense to juz shaddup...but then, kind of expected of him..coz he tapai chu this kind of stunt one la...so ok la..nth too shocking.
anyway, after dinner, nth much happen liao, juz slack ard till closing time..met bro mak who was working at the parco branch and went home liao..later gg running with him again..haha, kinda looking forward to chalet on wed. Friday. 11.12.04 heh, went for medical at cmpb today..tmd, had to wake up at 7am  juz to catch the blady train to tiong bahru to meet nic and gabby since we wanted to be there early, tot tt will end faster if we get in earlier...but end up still tiao there for 5 blady hrs~9am to 2pm, si bei sian...i even took out newspaper to read while waiting to see the MO after taking my ecg..
well, seems like both wilbie and nic are raving abt the medical thing..can't blame them, it is a weird experience after all, and its their first time there.
not for me tho, coz i ald went for the thing once during year one when i wanted to sign on army...so well, the whole thing was even more boring for me since i could ald predict wad was gg to happen at every stn they send us to. the only new stuff was the blady SATS-like vocational test done on oh-so-old and outdated comp platforms..the program interface machiam we all kindagarten learning how to the use comp lidat..knn, wad they take us for, and this funny form that they told us to fill up prior to all the medical tests~got this particularly stupid qn which went sth like: "do u think u are different from ppl in a special way, i.e. u think u got supernatural powers and the like.." wa kao, i was like wtf!? ~  why got this kind of siao qn one...wad has this got to do with ns man?..was tempted to answer tt i'm some supernatural villian out to destroy the world but thought better of it coz i kia they will send me for some mental or psycho thingy test like nic's fren kai cheng if i play ard...which will mean longer time tiao at the blady place.
and the worse thing was definitely the blady vocational test thingy, really veri alike to SAT test, i do until damn sian, end up juz ti kam alot of the qns..
and there was the siao guy at the uniforms measuring section who kept shoving me all the small sizes and tell me "can! can one!" siao boh! imagine, he tried to make me wear the 'S' size uniform when its so blady obvious i needed sth bigger..heng i spoke up...or else..
anyway, enuf abt the medical liao..was starving afterwards so juz settle at some kopitiam near cmpb, then went off to meet bro mak at queensway to check out some shoes, heard tt wilbie was gg there to buy shoe too, wonder why nv tu tio him the whole time i was there, heh. but nvm, heard some bad news from bro mak who ald started working at nike liao~apparently staff only got like 250 limit monthly to make their purchases, then part timers still have to ask FTs buy for them, so sian la, have to disappoint all my frens out there who had wanted to buy nike stuff at 40% discount...
took bus to harbourfront afterwards to walk ard coz damn sian nth to do, and settle dinner at the pastamania there, and well, it was pretty fucked up, swear its the last time i will eat there liao. nth much, so went home afterwards to crash, since its been a pretty long day liao and coz i still gotta work tmr, first day somemore, better rest to make sure i got energy to work tmr.

adios, ppl~ Comment! (1) | Recommend! Wednesday. 11.10.04 Lolz, finally changed the template of my blog (is tt wad its called?) today. Many thanks to the boss, couldn't have done it without her help and great guidance the whole afternn...tho i still used back ppl's ready made templates and only changed stuff here and there, its still a start..haha, now at least i noe how to customise my own page liao~so well, learned some new things today so can start to explore ard and try to make it better in the future, heh..which means i will have sth to occupy my time liao, the only sian thing is my comp dun have java enabled, and somehow i can't host my own music so as to put background music on my page becoz of it..so maybe someone can help me by telling me where i can download the java plug-in or send me the thing itself..hah
anyways, went for dinner juz now at this thai restaurant in sembawang shopping centre tt boss recommended..wun exactly call it a restaurant coz the ambience wasn't there..but the food was definitely great, esp the kang kong with belachan~best i ever had...and its all at a veri affordable rate, we only paid like 9 each for a tom yam soup, the kang kong, and a deep fried fish~the place's signature dish...not to mention free flow of rice, haha.
went to watch shark's tale after tt~which was pretty alrite altho many of the scenes were kind of cliche, but well, i wasn't expecting too much of it, having read and heard abt the nt-so-great reviews of it..but anyway, it was funny, however i was expecting better since its a dreamworks movie coz after stuff like antz, shrek and shrek 2, i have come to expect great quality animation from them...still it was fun to watch a movie after like 2 mths nv watch liao..the only bad thing was tt there were 2 fucking noisy kids behind us who would parrot everything the actors said on screeen and laugh damn loud every now and then..really irritating, it is only now tt i actually see the meaning of the saying: kids should only be seen and not heard...

Tuesday. 11.9.04 wtf..hols are here and yet i have nth to do at all...job at nike only starts on sat..which means tt to date i have nua-ed for 4 days ald and still have to tahan 3 more days of it before i get to start work...and its nt like after tt i guaranteed will have work everyday..still muz depend on the store roster, will be better if can work more, lidat can earn more money too..
sibei sianz, before hols during proj hell and study weeks i complain no life; everyday do proj and study...very anticipative (if there's such a word) of hols to come, den can go out have fun...but now...
knn, i still no life, coz no money to spend...dun dare to spend on anything at all, coz job haven't start, last month pay nv come yet, den bank account depleting damn fast liao...next wk still got chalet somemore, if spend the money now, next week nth to spend liao...so broke until i want to buy snack eat still muz think twice, thrice...den can't even afford to buy cigs, not even the cheapo kind.
FARK!! wtf am i always so poor!!? when stimes i see those ppl got alot of money, go buy dis and tt den complain broke, i also sibei tulan, but i can do nth buy sit there kpkb only...
tmd..if i can't find sth to properly occupy my time soon, think will ki siao liao...even this entry is crap...so there's definitely signs tt i gg to ki siao soon liao...cham

Friday. 11.5.04 yay, exams are over...haha, by rite, the last sentence shld have ended in an exclamation mark and i shld be damn enthu and excited...but strangely i'm not...mayb its because i still got bd to settle, and that will also end soon, three more days to be exact~ after next monday, i'll truly be a free man, well for three weeks only...but still better than nth...
suddenly, i'm juz feeling so empty and drained, could it be tt life was too stressful during the last three weeks or sth else...but thinking back, it shldn't be so, as i'd in fact studied at a veri leisurely and relaxed pace...and well..i hope i can still manage to pass all my modules..if not den kk liao..hah~
aniwaes, today nth much happened after the final em paper..which was fucking easy, i'll say...first time that i was able to answer all the questions in the question paper...juz tt got damn lot to write...sia until wa chiu tia...fiak..
went for cs with wilbie and our usual cs bunch at ginza..haha, haven't had so much fun in a long while liao...altho can see that everyone skills deproved liao, which is to be expected, we so long nv play liao...but the general stuff still there la, juz tt accuracy and reaction times all dropped a big notch..hah~
nth much after tt, we all went our separate ways..the two ch kias mai kong liao...kelly siao siao follow me, wilbie and alvin onto the imm bus..haha..he can be so blur sth...if we nv say anything or the bus nv stop at clementi, he may evened have followed us all the way to imm, all the while still thinking tt i'll be taking the train back with him, lolz.. but well, he did drop off at clementi, lucky for him..and i went walk ard with alvin in imm and later jurong pt coz he looking for his fren present, while wilbie go hm koon...haha, why was i so bo liao, coz i had nth to do if i went home tt early too...so well...
