Guess its kind of quick to be suddenly posting two entries all at once, but its juz tt i have so much to say...so here goes..

first, the phrase "hell week" will definitely not be alien to anyone in my class, esp those who have had four presentations in juz this week alone...for myself, its more like two separate hell weeks, the first was last week, which was presentation cum rushing to meet report deadlines, and the second would be this week, which was my gm and bd presentations. first of all however, i want to apologize to my gm members for screwing up on the target market of our report, luckily TJ and shawnie may some last minute changes and salvaged our presentation, many thx to the 2 of them...

however, the most hellish thing abt this week would have to be bd, as due to our time constraints and lack of expertise, we really did pretty bad, its a miracle tt even our presentation was acceptable today, really tyco sia, now we'll really have to make alot of changes to the report. which spells more work, however, now tt time's more freed up, i think it won't be so bad at all...

yet, i'm really pissed at myself for farking up my presentation today...despite gg over and over my stuff until like 2 plus last nite and doing pretty well for our rehearsals this morn, i still managed to slap myself in the face by actually flubbing my lines!! bummer! in the end, i only managed to get a B grade for this phase's presentation when i was aiming for an A all along, guess this speaks volumes abt my presentation skills, really need to start brushing up...

but well, anyway, two weeks of hell is finally over~ altho it doesn't mean i can really rest easy from now on, at least its a chance to finally catch my breath and relax a bit...lol

Btw, gd luck to my frens who will be presenting their bd next week..ttz abt it for now..

thumb drives seem to be the rage nowadays. And why not, they are small, convenient to carry around and stores all ur important data easily via usb 2.0..and it certainly looks like its becoming a fad soon, everywhere i looked, ppl are popping up with thumb drives of their own...

However, they dun seem to be tt reliable afterall...in juz one day, i have ald seen and heard three stories of thumb drives failing their masters..let me illustrate...

to start it all off, today during em, i saw wynn with his thumb drive in pieces...apparently, he was trying to put the pieces back together again, after which he was testing it on his comp, to no avail of coz...well, my first tot was~ "why the hell is wynn taking his thumb drive apart?" It was only later tt i found out tt his thumb drive was stepped on in the lab while it was plugged in..with all his hard work inside of coz, naturally, tt spells doom for sth as fragile as it...well, well, wad can i say, except tt wynn is damn suay...

next on the train, i was having a look at alvin's thumb drive, and it looked like its casing was somehow sticked together...so, alvin apparently suffered the same fate as wynn, only he managed to salvage his, with some scotchtape...and well, his thumb drive is now apparently not as responsive as it used to be...

well well, two suay incidents falling upon my friends in a day...muz be some kind of jinx...and wad happens when i get home~ upon reading the boss's blog, found out tt her thumb drive died on her too, although hers is a pure case of equipment failure as no one apparently stepped on it...

now this left me thinking abt the much touted reliability of thumb drives...coz not juz my 3 frens suffered from it, i myself experienced it when mine hanged on me not 1 week ago, for like the entire afternoon, and somehow got back to normal when i got home at nite,luckily i had managed to find some diskettes to back up some data on my m: drive...heng...

really, shld we all be so dependent on thumb drives?~since they seem to be turning out to be less than wad they have been touted to be, i guess the only solution is to have at least 2 back ups of any of your impt stuff, either online or with the ever reliable 3.5 inch floppys~~~~

Yep...u got tt rite~i am resurrected, or at least...my internet connection is, lol!~and finally too, after a month of waiting, that started from the comp itself having problems to the modem and then the subscription itself maturing and terminating. Haha, wad a long wait, but finally, i am able to go online in the comfort of my own home, haha..

Not that i was really away from the online community all this while, after all, i was still going online in sch up until yesterday...haha...but anyways, i am damn happy and relieved that my internet's up ald...which means that i'll be able to work from the comfort of home, and not stay back in sch every nite le...
however, this may be too late le, as all my projects, with the exception of em have already been handed in...

oh wait, not forgetting bd, which is the real curse...think we really screwed up for this mkting phase due to the time constraint and the incompetency of some of my grp members whom i shall not name....sian...tmr's the presentation, and i've been rehearsing my part since 9, still can't get it rite, dunno why keep flubbing some of my lines...whack, tmr it better not be so, else it'll be a double whammy, presentation and q & a session both screwed...

bah, this is boring, think i better go slp before i sprout some more nonsense, lol

another typical monday when i am in the lib lab again. suddenly, it all seems so boring after the hectic report submission days last week. now all ttz left are the presentations, and they're gg to be the real killers i think, esp more so for my pals out there who have four of them this week, wad a suay twist of fate for them, to present four proj in a week...damn, wad can i say, juz gd luck ba, and dun screw up ur lines, haha....

thankfully, i ald did two presentations last week and this week only left with two...yeah, heng ar...or else i'll really die...

bah! internet at home's still down, dunno when tf its gg to come back up, guess i have juz abt given up on it liao la, rather come sch use...but its really troublesome during wkends coz have t o keep troubling my frens by gg to their hse to use, sian...wad a drag..

damn, this sucks, suddenly, i juz wan to go home and play bball..lol

Haven't updated for damn long liao,well, nth worth mentioning anyway...juz projects all the way...
but well, lets juz say tt ytd was the most 'happening' day of the week.

Yesterday was one hell of an eventful day...first i stayed up in until the wee hrs of the morning to edit the GM final report. Nic's rite, this final part really need like 12 hrs or sth..I did the editing all the way from wed 930pm to ytd(thursday) morning 3am.

slept like 3 hrs after tt, came sch early to rehearse mc presentation...sibei sian..
good thing the presentation turned out pretty alrite, i even did surprisingly well for my own standards...yup.after tt, its GM again..

went down to SALC to finalise and churn out the report...had to do some more editing, hah...wad a drag...
den~ the appendices all cock up, dunno wtf happened...but finally when we want to print out first draft, the sch printing system cock up, but we manage to get off a bunch of colored pages without paying a cent, lol...

and well, corrected and finalised errors here and there, finally the GM report complete with appendices is out, and wtf, there's only 10 mins left to submission.
and so, i left my things with the rest of the grp at SALC, ran off to bind the report and hand it in before the the office close...made it with seconds to spare...phew...

stayed on after to do FM project, and well, took home all the answers to type..

(today)
and now, finally, we are ready to print the FM project....hope nth cock up again...
ahaha~

Yet another typical monday, handed in crm project juz now to kl le...came in the morning where we pia to edit the report and add in our appendices and print it out~ seems like everyone else also doing the same thing coz near the 2pm dateline for submissionm, everyone was crowding round the printing station...end up we went to lvl5 to print, but there no color...so back to square one at the lib...but at least now its handed in, heng...one down, many more to go

Since my internet's still down, it means i'll be in sch till 8 like last week to do my research and reports...sian..and it also means that i'll get home with barely enuf time to do my tutorials for tmr.

talking of projects and sch only makes me more sian, so lets go on to some other topics...got the medical checkup letter from cmpb last sat, found out everyone else also got it at the same time. Suddenly, it seems like ns is juz round the corner even tho there's still more than half a year to go to enlistment...i wun say tt i'm sian or sth, coz afterall, everyone gotta go one, and i was quite enthu abt the prospect of gg ns anyway..juz tt with the arrival of that letter, its suddenly dawned on me that its really veri near, and kinda too soon for comfort, haha..

anyway, started new job at sportslink ytd, not too bad...the ppl there all quite nice and communicable, customers were alrite too, definitely not as terrible as it was while i was at g2000. heheh, the store management also quite slack, as long as got customers come up to us, we help them can liao, the manager also dun care wad we do half the time...think this is gg to be quite a fun job, since got alot of people there to talk cock with, lol...

bleah ~ tmr is fm tutorial, the class i dread the most, since i hardly noe what's gg on the whole time last term, much less now...got a veri strong premonition that i'm gg to flunk fm, study or no study...esp when the old woman tutoring us seems to dislike me so much, sian...

ok, thats it for now, gotta go start on my projects liao, or else wun be able to finish by 8...adios for now
