my oeti pc called today..apparently cpc calculate my annual leave wrongly, so instead of the 14 days they told me earlier i actually only got 7.5 days..and i ald took 5 days last week..so left 2.5 nia..

wtf!! lidat i cannot book overseas trip liao la..heng nv go ahead confirm the booking..ccb..why cpc always cock up one...lidat i kia they also go and cock up my recourse...scarly come january 06 i cannot go back prc recourse cdo..den really hk liao la..

now tt i have graduated from the small arms course at oeti, i can be considered a certified armament tech or some say armourer..which means i'll be out of oeti, servicing weapons either at base or unit level.

thus, the beginning of this week saw me at 6dsmb, ttz direct support maintenance base, at nee soon driclad centre, next to nee soon camp. this is obviously good news for me, since the place is damn near my hse~juz a 10 min walk to the bus stop and another 10 min bus ride to the camp, which also means i can slp late, haha.

im being detailed to rifle section 2, which deals in gpmg, m203, steyr ssg 69 sniper rifle and p226 combat pistol..shiok! since i nv learned abt steyr and p226 back in oeti, its a whole new experience to learn to strip, assemble and service these 2 cool guns. im also learning alot of stuff abt really how to fix guns tt are spoiled..from changing parts to riveting..the whole package.. and its really differnt from wad i do at oeti, where all we did was strip/ assemble and do fit for firing inspections..and since its a base, we basically do all kinds of repairs, unless the gun is really beyond repair..cases like the receiver crack and such, den we send them back to the factory.

well, im really enjoying my life as an armourer in 6d, but i still hope to go back to recourse in cdo..haha, some ppl say im nuts, hao bu rong yi get out of cdo still wan to go back..but, its wad i really wan, so it doesnt matter how hard its gg to get, i'll preservere. after all, its all in the mind, like my pc used to say. rite now, im still waiting for word from cpc to go back and join the jan batch for my recourse..and im supposed to hear from them somewhere ard mid to late december..well, nth i can do now, except to maintain my fitness and wait and hope they dun dua me.

im really getting alot of halfdays at oeti recently, today again..reason being we went for a site visit to st kinetics ode, in jurong industrial estate..damn..all the times i passed by tt place in the past, and i din even noe tt its the very place where singapore makes all its guns and military hardware!!

anyway, i finally finished with my last practical on the 120mm mortar today morn, and after lunch, off we went to stk. well, it was definitely an eye opening experience. there was this wonderfully done up gallery with all of stk's weapons and joint projects with foreign ordnance companies, followed by a short viewing of some weapon ads, some of which were damn corny.

went to the live range for a test fire of the sar21 afterwards, which i think was quite exciting to some of my platoonmates who nv touched a live weapon before, let alone fire one..best part was we got to see the other variations of the sar21, with p-rail mounts and red dot sights, shortened barrels etc..the stuff of spec ops, heh..final part of the visit was to the plant to see how the sar21 was made..gawd..the way the aunties at the assembly line put together the various mechanisms and components of the weapon really made all of us feel like a whole lot of idiots..hah.

another half day at OETI, lol..coz today we were supposed to go visit the school of ammunition located at rifle range road, ard bt timah there..not too bad actually, its quite interesting, but probably also becoz i've always been interested in guns and ammo stuff..saw quite alot of different forms of ammo there, from small to heavyarms..even two 1000 lb iron bombs! tho they were only duds..hah..

and i juz found out today tt i have like 14 days of annual leave entitled! and muz clear by end of the year! and before my bmt recourse starts in december also...which makes it the next 3 weeks...wtf...now then tell me..how to plan wan to do wad with the leave..hur..mayb can go short overseas trip if can manage tickets and exit permit on short notice lor...but no one to go with lei..so eh..anyone free wan go with me? haha. but go where? ideas anyone?

time flies, two months is over in the blink of an eye, and i'll be spending my last week in OETI next week, after which i still have no idea where i'll be gg. supposedly im gg back to PRC for CDO BMT recourse, but then, the directive tt confirms whether im gg back is still not out yet. fucking cpc! do things so blady damn slow. and it so happens tt the OC cant do anything abt it now, since he ald got the chief clerk, who so conveniently happens to be on leave to send email to cpc to confirm on my posting orders...wtf..im stuck in a rut.

anyway, today got half day off, coz of some sports day/ deepavali cum hari raya, so called deeparaya..(-_-;) thingy in OETI..hah. there were some competitions gg on, but no bball, so i spent the morning playing CS in the com lab. haha..supposed to go there support my platoon mates playing against the other coys, but end up we supporters start our own servers and play until shiok shiok...lolz. damn long nv play CS liao, and somehow the feeling's different now, for one..its even more shiok to snipe ppl from far far using my favourite gun~ AWP..hahaha!

oh well, ttz all for now..my life really boring la..got nth much to write abt..hah.

rite, someone told me to go update, so here goes..

so wad has happened in my boring life since last fri? haha, u guessed it, guard duty again..in less than a week, i have done it twice, both times on last minute notice, coz ppl in my platoon cannot make it, so i kenna. nt tt i mind la, doing guard duty lets me save on transport for one whole day! hehe..

well, this time rd, i chose to do prowler..wad a nightmare. esp when im prowling for the first time with my buddy who's also a newbie at prowling..with no lao jiao to orientate or guide us...naturally, we got bloody lost, gg all over ARC looking for check points tt seemed to elude us no matter how we tried to get to them, so much so tt a route tt could have been done in 45 minutes took us 1 and a half farking hrs...damn..

2nd time round was slightly better, tho we still could not find check point 4 tt seems to have vanished into thin air even when we were smack on the spot indicated on the map, wtf hur.. i guess this says a whole lot abt my topo skills haha..

well ttz it for guard duty, another happening ttz of considerable excitement to me is tt ytd, my oc at oeti informed me tt i'll be gg back to prc to recourse cdo as soon as my weapons course at oeti ends...whoopee..hope tt its for real this time rd..hahaha.

oh yar..tmr got half day off..coz there's a wing cohesion~ bbq at ecp...will update as i deem fit after i attend it..otherwise, ttz all there is in another week of my really boring life as a nsf..hah
