after 1 month of chionging dota almost everyday, stimes up to even 5 or 6am in the morning on wkends, i think i'm finally sick of it liao. somehow don't feel the excitement and adrenaline rush anymore, not even when i achieve "beyond godlike" status in the game.. cos comp is like so easy to kill.
however that doesn't necessary mean that i'm too good or anything, cos i still suck compared to many dota greats out there; i get my ass owned even when i play kids 2, 3 years younger than me. hah. but nairmind, i think i'm gg to take a break fr dota liao..kinda sian liao really. lol.
7 bored guys, saturday nite..nowhere to go, having supper at the kopitiam near our homes, discussing dota strategies and what to do with our time. guess what we ended up doing?
ttz rite, playing monopoly at one of the more deserted 2nd storey lift landings in one of the blocks near our usual hangout. and i mean monopoly, as in the board game tt many of us no doubt used to play in pri sch. lmao even as i think back abt what just transpired 12 hrs ago.
nvm who brought it down, fact is, some of us haven't played the game in like at least 10 years...and suddenly here we are, playing. needless to say, we started kind of slow, since many of us forgot the rules and all, and needed refreshing our memories.
but once we got to mid game, it was actually quite exciting, everyone was haggling over the price of certain properties they wanted to buy or sell; i even ended paying 4 times the original price for a piece of land i needed in order to complete my monopoly of a particular and start building houses. lol.
so, the 7 of us played all the way fr 12 mn until abt close to 5am..5 farking hrs!~ wth sia..i nv imagined that we would play so long. one by one, players went bankrupt and took their places on the sidelines to watcg the continuing property battle raging in the ring. sebast was so shag tt he just fell aslp on the floor at ard 3 plus to 4am lidat. by then, final contenders left were myself, elwin, and gong cb..lol..alvin even took up the position of financial adviser to gong cb after he went bust.
and when gong cb finally went bust too, both elwin and myself were too sick of it to continue, so we just ended the game..w/o determining who actually won..which was kinda of ambiguous too, since either of us could have won if we continued, because of my immense amts of properties and buildings and elwin's tons of cash. hahah.
thinking back, it was nt too bad, as i think we do need sth else to entertain ourselves lidat once in a while instead of always bball, billiard and dota.
fwah, im hooked on dota! been playing almost everyday this week and still i feel like playing some more. sounds of "first blood", "owning", "killing spree" and others from the game are constantly reverberating through my head. im even checking out different heroes and their abilities and the researching what recipes are the best on the internet whenever i got free time...its tt addictive, but then again.. i cant really help it cos its really damn fun. lol.
Yeah ttz rite, as the title suggests, this entry is entirely about her: Leah Dizon. an american born chinese with chinese, filipino and french ethnicities.
and im so totally smitten with her tt i'll go as far as saying i wish she was my gf. of course, ttz nv gg to happen in this lifetime or the next, mayb only in my wildest dreams, or not.. cos she's a world famous model, and japanese tv personality who also recently cut an album with more songs on the way..now, how in the hell am i supposed to make someone so glamourous and well sought after my gf? let alone even meet her in public in the first place? the odds must be like 1/1000000, hah.
anyway, enough of my ramblings, cos since i'm so damn smitten with her, i can definitely go on and on abt her for pages. lets just have a look at some her pictures i found and decide for urself.

just finished watching the entire series of 'fight science' on youtube; which i believe many have ald seen, and i must say, its impressive..though, i got stuff to say abt it..
first of all, why are all the top martial arts exponents on the show 80% caucasian? even when many of the martial arts discussed there are east asian ones, stuff like karate, taekwondo, ninjitsu, are all being demonstrated by caucasian masters..whatever happened to masters of these martial arts who are indigenious folks from the asian countries? even the wushu guy is an american born chinese..although i admit he's pretty good, but i do believe there are true masters of wushu, indigenious chinese i mean, who would have been better able to showcase the style.
and secondly, that very first segment of the show, the one abt the strongest punch? tt was damn stupid can? why do they have the boxing guy compared to all others, and proving through the machine thingy tt his style has the strongest blow? and tt statement made by the narrator? "the boxer's punch is almost 2 times tt of the kung fu one-inch punch" or sth like tt, was even way stupider. just look at the boxer..he's also two times the size of the kungfu guy..and some one-inch punch..what he demonstrated was so weak, bruce lee would be crying in his grave if he knew.. haiz..
and last but nt least, the aussie taekwondo guy just really pisses me off. he's like damn irritating with his shirt off and all those "hoo", "haa" "waa", etc..exclamations whenever he's doing anything tt he just comes across as damn poseur, although im nt abt to question his expertise at the style, seems like he's some champion somewhere after all, so i'll leave it at tt..
but what's with him also demonstrating the japanese bo and the katana? its totally contradicting can?
kendo(the art of the japanese katana) and the bo are very obviously, part of jap martial arts disciplines, whereas the style he is representing from the beginning of the show, taekwondo, stems from korea..two different countries, two totally different styles of martial arts..3 forms in fact, the bo, kendo, and taekwondo, all being showcased by one guy?
now tt is really absurb, as i seriously don't believe anyone, even indigenious masters of the arts, are able to study and master so many forms of martial arts in one lifetime..why, many kendo masters take a lifetime of study and practice to achieve their expertise with the katana..and now along comes a young punk who's proficient in all 3? what a fucking joke.. i myself am a great fan of the katana, which is why i feel tt showcasing it all together by one guy who's also doing two other forms of martial arts is a great injustice..
now, don't take me wrong though, im nt criticising the credibility of the show; and i am also nt any great martial art exponent myself, i just feel tt they could have done it another way, a better way..and anyway, what's written here is really just my two cents abt it..so if anyone out there is nt happy, pls feel free..im nt asking anyone to subscribe to my views, though if u do agree with me, pls feel free to let me know also.
and finally, if they plan to produce a sequel to the series, someone pls tell the narrator to get his pronounciation of east asian terms like karate, taekwondo, NOT tai-kwan-do, dao, NOT dou etc..right..its terrible..
