my stint at running a booth by myself finally ended prematurely today, due to lack of business..but its juz as well, coz i really did nth much but set up the place and juz sit there read newspaper the whole day..if it din end sooner, i would have been veri bored and also feel guilty for taking mr lawrence's money for doing nth..hah.

but still, it was good experience for me, and mayb lady luck was smiling upon me on this last day as i made wad can be considered alot of sales today, due mainly to the people from the mall developer~ capitaland, dropping by and clearing out half my stocks in one swoop..heh..

and so, i cleared up everything by ard 7 and hung ard for mr lawrence to come back for the equipment at 730, where he also paid me for 4 days 'work' on the spot..seriously, i wouldn't have blamed the man if he decided to dock my pay, esp judging from sales results..but thankfully, he was gracious enough to pay me in full, haha..

met up with my family in town afterwards, and headed to newton circus for a simple fathers' day dinner..simple and nt too expensive, but scrumptious all the same~ had our fill of satay, stingray, kang kong, crayfish and murtabak..hah.

well, once again im back to slacking away at home for the remaining 20 days, or is it 19 days? before enlistment..haha but its juz as well, slightly more than 2 weeks to go, im gg to thoroughly enjoy my civi life before gg in to cheong sua...hahaha!

after 2 and a half weeks of slacking at home, i am finally gg to work tmr..so..yay? haha, having mixed feelings actually. but its good also la, since can earn some cash before enlistment and its nt like i have alot to do at home. hah

anyway, i'll be selling SP's veri own SP NOODLES at the food fair at liang court basement starting tmr, until the end of the month..from 11 - 8. and i'll be minding the booth alone..so if anyone got the time, pls come and visit me and at the same time show some support for the biz eh? hahaha..

so it has come to this, most of the guys are enlisted ald..leaving the select few of us outside in the civilian world. lets see, there's me and wynn, gg commandos in 26 days' time, weixiang, tingfeng and shawnie gg for second intake in sept..yeah ttz it..

and well, since everyone is enlisted, i am left outside bored bored and bored~ as in no one to go out to eat, play pool or do wadever tt interest us...haha sian.. so i tot to make use of the time to prepare myself for ns, by joining ck and his fren for his training today afternn..at yio chu kang. lets see, we ran 4k, swam 1k and did some pt from 3 to 530.

hmm, i must say, after today, i finally understand the difference between a commando like ck and normal soldiers~ its their willpower. they are like so strong, even when they cannot tahan liao, they will juz keep telling themselves they can, den die die do it..haha, really pah see buay toh. heh, hope i can train myself to become lidat too when i enlist in july.

ttz really juz tt for now, since nth much really interesting happened all this time..in fact, this entry is juz to keep my blog up to date on myself..been waking up at noon everyday this week(except for a few other days perhaps) and playing warcraft 3 and frozen throne..doing cardio in the evening and slacking and eating and watching tv..haha..i guess im really enjoying my civilian life rite now..

today being sebastian's bday, i went with him to johor bahru, juz across the straits..heh. i muz say, its been a veri long time since i was in jb, and it still hasnt changed..the streets i mean..the layout, everything still looks tt much the same.

ok, mayb got some tech advancement tt i cannot see, but really, everywhere's still as dirty, cluttered and wad not..ar..ur got the idea la.

but the good thing is, food there is dirt cheap..which is why we went in the first place. haha, ate at pizza hut and had 2 regular pizzas, soup and salad free flow, breadsticks, and a pitcher of pepsi, all for juz RM 20 each only! which computes to abt SGD 9 plus only!!

afterwards was shopping ard at jb city square, which looks juz like any other metropolitan shopping mall along orchard back here, and even the prices of goods are abt the same. haha.. they had a place at level 4 similar to the annex over at the heeren's here in singapore.

anyway, we shopped ard abit and bot cds, games, and dvds..all dirt cheap also. one dvd only RM 8, cds and games at 7 each..hahah..swee! got ourselves a cache of them before heading back out to singapore. upon reaching singapore, had this feeling tt everything is like really surreal, sort of like i had juz stepped out from another reality, haha. i wonder why...probably is the drastic change of environment across borders...but wad the heck, it was still fun, lol.

celebrated chang hong's bday with a barbeque at east coast last nite. it was pretty fun i think, since i haven't been to east coast for bbq since year 1. met up with nic, pei yoke and baoqi in the afternn to shop for ingredients and other bbq necessities at parkway..lol, bot a ton of stuff, among them 'char siew the crab'~ nic's idea of an honourary gift to chang hong..went to peiyoke's hse to prepare the food and wad not, and her father drove us to east coast after tt..haha, apparently, we alighted at the wrong place, resulting in us having to walk all the way from pit 27 to pit 7 tt was booked by us, lugging all the stuff along. lol, my fingers were numb by the end of it..

hang loose until the rest got there, first to arrive was alvin and the bday man himself..and started building the fire at ard 7 ba...once tt was done, the bbq started proper, and as was last time, it was the girls cooking the food while we sat ard and enjoyed the fruits of their labour...hhaha. good job done by the girls i guess, kudos esp to the beer girl, din noe she could cook so well, hahahah, tho i think she shld go easy on the honey. most of the crowd arrived ard 8 plus, and we had our fun for abt 3 more hrs until 11 plus when almost everyone went home, since they had work commitments today. we also set char siew free ard this time, guiding him back to the sea before we returned to the site, since we din noe wad else to do with him.

left me, alvin, chang hong, wilson, baoqi, gabriel and ereen, who left shortly after too. the rest of us sat ard and talk cock, play daidee until 230 when we decided to go rui choon for dim sum supper. six of us crammed into wilson's car while changhong drove...safety driver my ass, hahaha..had the usual stuff over at ruichoon, altho the lo mai kai wasn't so good this time round, but i found out tt the sesame peanut ball there is damn good tho, best i ever had..

after supper, me, gab and baoqi decided to walk home, since gab say he no money to take cab..so off we went, with gab leading us thru balestier, first stop being baoqi's hse at tao payoh lorong 1..after which, gab walked with me to bishan stn den went off home. no train yet when i got there, so decided to walk to ang mo kio see how..still no train when i got there, so continued to yio chu kang where there was finally a train home, which i gladly took, since i was too thirsty to be so adventurous as to walk all the way home. got home ard 7 and went straight to bed after showering, only waking up ard 5 juz now..lol.

all in all, it was pretty fun last nite, highlight of the nite was definitely the walk all the way from jalan besar, ard lavender there, to yio chu kang mrt..haha, nt bad exercise i think, considering all the food i ate and the time it took me to walk the distance~ juz under three hrs, hhaha.
