This verse in Psalm 23 sums everything up very well. Typhoon Morakot had swept Taiwan leaving villages in ruin and people scattered, and this verse would come in very handy for them and also for the rescue, medical teams. I guess that's the reason why JJ chose to wear it in his latest MV



This MV is a collaboration between JJ Lin and Sun Ho for the album Faith Map (信心地图) produced by Rainbow Heaven (彩虹天堂), supported by Taipei's New Life Church (新生命教会) and Singapore's City Harvest Church (城市丰收教会). All proceeds from the album sales will go to disaster relief efforts, a decision made by the artistes, which included Liu Geng Hong, Vivi Wang and FIR as well.

God has truly done a tremendous work in Taiwan. Like what Pst said before, it is amazing how in 7 years, Taiwan has seen its declining Christian population reinvigorated and even featured in national media through the efforts of churches, especially CHC's affiliates. Their involvement in disaster relief efforts really epitomises the whole concept of "Church without Walls".

And for that, I salute each and everyone who has stepped out, and walked through the valley of the shadow of death, and come out fighting the good fight hand in hand.

Here in SG, each of us has done a small part through our offerings and donations to help the relief effort there. May God bless this sum of money that it will be used to meet needs and save lives in Taiwan.

I have absolutely no idea why I'm arguing with someone on my old blog about why my joke is a blog. I'm like bringing myself down to his level - someone who lives in self-denial and feels his present way of living is good enough.

Oh, he's a backslider as well (That makes it all the more frustrating that even Christians could end up like this). I pray that the grace of God will be upon us all, and protect all my cell group members and friends in the Christian faith of all denominations.

It's just exasperating when someone refuses to grow up and continues being insensitive to the needs of others.

My trusty Sony Ericsson G700 Business Edition phone failed me yesterday.

It has only been my sidekick for a little more than six months, yet sustained ailments from fighting the good fight alongside me such as.. being unable to receive messages from fellow soldiers as well as the touchscreen behaving.. rather weirdly. As such, I sent it to the discipline master over at Junction 8 today after school. Hopefully it'll learn its lessopn and be a good boy.. at least until the time elapsed for my plan crosses the 15-month mark.

There was a glitch though. As a result of me not being able to confirm his date of adoption, the lady at the counter told me with regret that she would have to take the start point for 1-year insurance from the date of birth, which was a full 5 months before I acquired it.

I was lucky that it broke down now. A few more weeks and the insurance would have expired and I would then need insurance for my wallet.

Maybe it's a good boy after all. Hm..

Anyway, I'm now using a random Nokia phone that is red and white in colour. It was the free phone given out two years ago. I think sY has one too. Haha.

Hola amigos and fellow homo sapiens,

4 years and 890 posts later, I've decided to uproot myself from my archaic blog and migrate here, to a land of fresh opportunities.. and baboons?! LOL.

First of all I would like to thank Mr Chow (aka papaphysix) for the invite (: Hopefully it'll be the start of a new blogging experience for myself and I'm quite looking forward it.

Not many people know the existance of this blog.. so to those who know (by hook or by crook), do keep it a secret yea? I guess not many will even realise that I'd left Blogger. Haha.

I spent the last night doing up the layout, used the template from Mr Chow's (oops) and modified the colours and stuff. Not bad for a CSS/HTML noob like myself. Maybe the purple is weird. Any suggestions or colour theme do feel free to drop me a tag (:



This is a new start. The future (and prelims) awaits.
Time to break the champagne, cheers and may this blog endure for years to come (:
