Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous. Actually, who are you not to be? | dream Saturday. 9.16.06 11:55 pm i'm not a person prone to dreams. so when i do dream it is already kinda uncommon. i'm open to interpretions here goes: setting: my sec sch classroom, with the grey desks, chalkboard, and brown teacher's desk. it might have been recess, where only a few pockets of pple are scatter ard in the classroom and no teacher. i was sitting alone, comtemplating a UK sch exchange programe whereby we will go to a few other schs in the UK, like london, stay a few days and move on to another and my mind actually wondered to europe, (tho i know europe is not UK, its a dream ya?). while i was contemplating on the trip, expenses, where i can go for shopping (die hard shopoholic aren't i?), wat to get for pple back home... out of the corner of my eye, there was FAD! and Ben taking up another exchange prog which i am not going for. (apparently, in my dream, the sch is kind enuff to offer like 5 different kinds of exchange progs. lol) and they exit the dream. i am at the airport, checking in! kinda v lost coz i've never been on a plane b4. so i'm vv disorientiated as to where i should go, which queue i should join. funnily enuff, even tho its a sch exchange prog, i dun have any other frens taking the same one with me (there were like 5 progs in my dream, rem? ). i was kinda wishing there was someone whu can reassure me and tell me where to go, but i know i gotta rely on myself coz there's like no one avail/with me tho one of my frens popped into mind.. i was really intimidated by the huge airport. i remember thinking consciously that D is not with me yet in sec sch, so he's out. (Duh!) *fast forward* i'm on the plane! window seat, without anyone beside me. -END- i'm afraid now that this foretells my life on singular terms. yikes or perhaps i should just be a soothsayer. Comment! (0) | Recommend! the thing abt birthday parties Saturday. 9.16.06 5:14 am spent/gonna spend last sat, yest fri and next sat at birthday parties. all of them for the big 21 years old. so, what do u do at parties? eat, drink, mingle(if u are that sort of person, coz more likely than not, u wouldn't know more than half of the pple at the party) and generally have a good time catching up with friends you haven't met up with and have been brought together becoz of the party. and then u wonder, what else is there to do? party games? in our apathetic post teen social grp, there aren't that many sporting souls whu will not mind being forced to disband, be thrown into a group whereby they are not comfortable with and run a high risk of making fools of themselves in front of complete strangers, if not for the fact that they have a mutual fren. what else? liquer? consider me straitlaced, i'm not much of a drinker. what else? what else? what else? what else except to merely enjoy the presence of your frens and wish the birthday one a good one. simple. eleborate plans doesn't always gurantee fun for everyone. and then of coz, ghost stories always works. esp when 60 to 70 percent of the party population is female. as with T's party. lol. Have a good one T! Blisters and sores have made this day even more meorable hasn't it? Comment! (0) | Recommend!
