Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous. Actually, who are you not to be? | Paul Coelho's Monday. 6.18.07 12:45 am Read the Alchemist, and currently reading The Zahir. I probably would have shelved it in the Spritual section of the Library, and not Fiction. Its one of those books that depresses me.ALOT. Of all the things I did not achieve. Of all the things i know i could have. And of all the things I can't not pursue. sometimes in the miasma of our brain, we do realise that what we are hankering, are not important. I realised the paper chase in my childhood and teenage years are, afterall not important, in experiencing Life. However, to obtain better Qualifications, I am going to take up a PT Deg come Oct. Even if we know that superficial certs are not everything, we still chase it yet. To open doors to a better job, better pay. or the correct term should be more work, more pay, less life. and we are doing it by choice. strange how the human mind works at odds with itself. THE trappings. the brand names, the pretty stuff. i wrote an entry not too long ago abt materialism. i still adore my pretty things and quality goods. but i know i will survive without (in times of famine/disaster/and no more Vit M) but till then, I will continue to purchase glammed up, superfluous items. Haiz I should stick to reading chick lit. At least those make me laugh. Comment!
