it was sheer coincidence that i met him.

i've been having premonition of sorts the entire yesterday thinking i'll run into a friend. Making out an amphorous shape of a tall lanky guy from my not so clear crystal ball of a mind.

i was on the phone after class.the lecturer overran and i was on the train at 11+pm. the guy sitting directly opposite me on the train got up to alight. and another guy took the newly emptied seat.

i looked up and found myself looking into the face of someone from the past. we smiled in recognition. my long lost *pri sch queue up by height partner.

i hung up. and we chatted. he's in SMU doing a business degree.
"so which direction you headed?" he asked
"there" pointing in the direction of home
"o ok.. walk with you. might as well, i'm headed to my gf's place"
"sure"
"u know... actually you know my gf, shes from 6AA" our next door primary 6 class
"really? I only remember maggie from there"
"maggie's a good fren of hers"

the mystery thickens

"come on lah. wanna tell me den tell me lah. dun be so cryptic"
"its cheng ping" from my primary sch clique
"we met again in SMU"

we chatted somemore. catching up. handsome Jega is in medicine now, following his family footsteps if i'm not wrong. smart as hell Lincoln with PSLE agg 282 (? strange how one can rem funny numbers) is also in SMU.

it was a nice coincidence. feeling glad that a long lost friend has been found as we parted ways. and being amazed with the hand of fate pulling the 2 together





*primary sch is the equivalent of grade sch
*** i know i promised the batam entry. will be soon, ok? lol

its a good thing my boss ain't quite as savvy with the internet being the previous generation and all. else my ranting would surely get me fired sooner rather than later.

i didn't want to rant about my leave issue anymore. I thought i had wrung the subject quite dry.

hang in there. i shall blog abt my batam spa trip prob tml. coz i'll be on leave. (my boss made me clear leave, the aftermath of the 2 days that got cancelled last week, i'll prob take another day next week to make up for the 2 days. incidentally i think its very unfair that i have to take leave at her convenience and not when i need to, like when there is exams coming)
