I've been in ostrich mode the past couple of weeks.. no doubt annoying my friends with my moping. i keep telling everyone i've got the december blues with my bonus pathetically NON-proportionate to the work and OT have been pulling, in fact i think its one of the lowest in the bank! and with half of shenton on holiday its making me even more sianed than usual.. i know i know that pple will say "be grateful that you've got a bonus and not a letter or pay cut!" but its not like humans to be satisfied issit? i think its wrong to compare to the marco environment when my bank is not affected by the marco lah!

BUT i've been enlightened (by a white crystalline sweet tasting substance found in choclate, cakes and soft drinks! fantastic!) and will be in a jolly mood at least till the new year and thats my resolution!

the "traditional" xmas gathering this year seems to be breaking its tradition! the replies haven't been so hot and mostly it seems like pple have been simply ignoring our sms/facebook invites! o well.. i guess thats my retribution for dragging things till so late.

somehow i have a feeling that the gathering won't happen at all.. which will leave me disappointed but rationally i don't see why i should. ha. its bound to happen one day that the poly mates end up on their own.. lose contact kind of thing.
