now i understand huizi when she laments that everyone think she is wrong whenever there are rs probs or she throws a temper

there's much to be said when pple i thot i used to know responds with "sometimes you shouldn't expect too much" when i merely said "its complicated"

tell me.... what is "expecting too much"?

it pisses me off when pple say that, coz they mean that "you dun deserve this much"

and they laugh and gossip behind my back.

WTF

i'm tired. i refuse to talk to pple prejudiced against me right from the start.


so i've learnt to mumble to myself.

spent the weekends indoors, coughing and wheezing and sniffling, (no thanks to my sensitive nose), and generally feeling quite awful. and yep, JMC, you're right, it IS the haze thats causing it.

the Polluted Skies Index was in the moderate range (for some reason i can't enter the national environment board website for the psi readings, server overload maybe?). I wonder why issit called moderate when the normally sunny and bright singapore looks like london on a VERY foggy day. *cue sherlock homles era theme song*

(JMC provided this, THANKX! : Singapore's pollution index at 0800 GMT Saturday was 128, compared with 80 on Friday. A reading above 101 is considered unhealthy.)

Our lovely indonesian neighbours are requesting singaporean help with the haze problem. like they do almost every year for the past decade. this time round they refused sg's offer to seed rain so as to put out the forest fires and dampen the smoke. but indo prefers money instead. i wonder why?

anyway, i surmised that indo promised "not to do it again", it refering to the widespread burning of forests to yield fertile land, and congratulating themselves once again for having cut costs clearing land and maximising profits, while the wind blows the smoke over their heads and into neighbouring countries.

thank you very much for effectively solving the problem.

i feel much better now despite the fact that i am inhaling poisoned air with every breath i take, and clogging my lungs with smoke particles.
and of coz, i shall continue wheezing and coughing as the air does not seem to be clearing up soon.

perhaps i can learn to wheeze to our national anthem or sth?



postscript: PSI just hit 130, and it is supposed to get worse
