slept till 4pm, to make up for my lack of sleep the past few days.

woke up, watched Naruto.

cooked simple dinner, actually i only cooked the daogays and steamed egg. the minced meat patty and porriage was cooked by his mum earlier in the day.

watched somemore Naruto and came home.

nice just slacking off once in a while

Kok and meishan found me. ("Found" coz they couldn't find anyone else.) the event was stated to start at 2 at Carlton Hotel, but mich received insider news that the actual event was only gonna start at abt 3. Apologies to Prima and jieying whom i've neglected to inform. oopz.

anyway, to my horror, when i got there with kok, mich and with D tagging, i found ............ an entire room of OLD FOGEYS~! the HORROR! and they were just starting their "rousing" rendition of "The More We Get Together" *faintzzzz* and poor junyang from 05/06 was dragged from his seat to sing with them. DOTZ. i have no idea how to express my mixture of disbelief and sian-ness. the entire population of young pple were made out of.. well.... us.. the ex students of BClow

our grp of 4 half ran to the back of the room
despite bclow's efforts to get us to sit in front with prima, leonard, wayne and co.

endured a short.....hmm.. i should say ridiculously stupid survey of Views of STI, Nikkei, Gold, Oil and US interest rates. the idea was the market always opposes the common view of the market. so therefore using these statistics, they will have a rough gauge of the direction of the market. GEEZ. how unscientific can u get... bleh

in the mean time one the guys fell asleep.

received our certs soon after, and we managed to escape within the hour i think. FYI, ONLY 18 pple out of all who took the TA paper that day passed. AND out of these 18, only 5 are from 08. namely mich, kok, john, huizi and yours truely.

i'm feeling really really smart right now.







nvm the fact that TA is practically obsolete.




nvm that the TA society's next talk is gonna be abt Feng Shui.




nvm that the test cost me 50 bucks.




nvm that there is no young pple existing in the society.

D came down to have lunch with me and suprised me with a second bouquet of red roses yest.

he was standing just outside my office door at lunch time and this gaggle of curious women who (i supposed) were meeting up for lunch refused to leave till they saw who the flowers were for. giggling and throwing envious glances in my bf's direction, and turning to leave the exact moment i came out. lol..

at work, made a mistake and i over-bought this client's position. by 15 000 shares. luckily for me the season of love forgives all transgressions and i got away with it. the client accepted the trade as legit. but it seems that i'm not the only one who were not alert enuff. at least 4 mistakes happened that day, involving FAs.. and one even had to fork out her own money to pay for it...

went for dinner and took a scenic stroll in the marine parade area. just to get away from the maddening crowds/couples all over town.

celebrated v day early so as to save the inconvience of a weekday.

D had a sleepless nite on friday, having spent the entire nite till dawn, frantically folding origami roses. probably coz i din give him enuff notice that i wanted to bring forward the celebrations. lol. that and i said i wanted black roses. note: there is no such thingy.. except really really deep red roses. so yup, poor guy.

anyway.. the bouquet was absolutely gorgeous~!

AND got me a pendant from leehwa jewelleries.

went for this korean movie in the morn- the season for love. an extremely touching story or rather stories, since it's 4 stories overlapping at the edges. cry like mad. used up almost 2 packs of tissue and the servietes that came with my breakfast. even my stotic bf was moved... lol. for those interested, only cathay has it.

came by this show purely by accident, was at a gift shop when i heard the DJ giving reviews for the show. apparently, the other female DJs watching the premiere were crying too. Quote: "Definately will cry wor. Bring tissue. Bring enuff tissue."

went for a nice dinner on top of a jurong hill top, uphill from jurong bird park. never knew there was a restaurant there, with really nice view, abeit of the industrial park nearby. nevertheless, we could actually see all the way to the CBD area, and the jurong island.

funnily enuff, ran into Denise w her bf at the restaurant teppanyaki bar table. sitting right beside me. nothing much to say to each other. lol. just a hi and we continued with our meals as strangers. lol

OOOOooo~! before i forget, the teppanyaki chef was damn pro. he sorta marinated the steak in wine or sake or some alcholic substance and lit the entire steak with a match, sending flames shooting up and giving everyone a scare. lol.

denise's boyfriend ordered king prawns. and watching the chef - 1 stroke and the head came off. 2nd stroke and the shell was peeled off so neatly the legs were still intact.

all in all, the place had great service, had great teppan beef, beautiful sparkling nite view of Sg, at the lounging area where we had our ice cream dessert. Felt that the entire package was well worth the money.
