Scott's Cat Doc didn't take a liking to new kitty. He has been hissing and freaking out ever since we brought the kitten home. Its so cute seeing the tiny 8 week old kitten chasing after this 15-16 pound GIANT cat! He just wants a fwend!!!
It made for little to no sleep for any of us.

I'm pretty sure we have named him Gus. He responds most to that and Scott says the name "grew on him" so Yay!!!


My best friend that went to Arizona to live with her boyfriend for the summer comes back this Saturday!!!! I'm so excited!!!!! Her boyfriend has been disappointing me as of late. I hope he gets his act together! He better.

Speaking of getting their act together....
I need to get MY act together. Or more like my body does. I am beyond frustrated with the constant need to run to the store to get womanly products. I'm fed up with feeling bloated and fat. with taking a medicine that I'm only taking to get this shit in order and its doing the exact opposite -----eww.....there's this thing for woman called a Diva Cup...Its shaped like a tiny rubber cup or something and apparently, the chick inserts it in herself and it just kind of collects her menstrual junk and you take it out and rinse it and reuse it.......it sounds disgusting. Its suppose to be an Eco-friendly alternative to tampons and pads. But who wants to pull out a cup full of menstrual blood out of their vagina? That sounds SOOOOOO gross. In fact, I'm sorry If I've ruined anyone elses appetite because I most definitely just ruined mine. =/


On that note....I'm going to go. I'll post pictures of Gus later tonight!

I go to pick up our new kitten today!!!!! I'm so excited! Eeeee!!!!!!!

So I took Scotts car to a shop to get looked at. (its been making extremely loud noises for months) Turns out he needs a new Bearing for one of his tires. The place I first took it to said it would cost $300 and then if we wanted the new tires an additional $300. YOWZA!!!
Needless to say....we got a better deal elsewhere. I drop the car off tomorrow and it will cost us a little under $200.
Hopefully that will be the only thing that needs fixing.


We adopted a kitten from the pound! He's SOOOO cute!!!! We don't get to bring him home until Wednesday but we're really looking forward to it!
We're torn between two-three names.
Gus
Chip
or Bullet

I'm pretty sure 'Gus' isn't going to happen.
its looking more like it will be Chip or Bullet.
It'll depend on how he acts when we bring him home, I guess.


So needless to say, with the car needing its fixins and Kitty on the way, it looks like we'll be slumming it for about a week or so.

We'll be okay, though.

So I had my parents over for dinner on Monday and Scott made delicious chicken for them. I'm pretty sure they were very impressed!! Tonight my sister and her boyfriend are coming over and Scott is making Taco Salad and its going to be DOUBLE delicious!!!!

I feel bad because I'm not as gifted in the kitchen as he is, so he cooks a lot.
Yesterday he made us chicken balls for dinner. (kind of like meat balls but with shredded chicken and some sort of Asian sauce) While he was making them I brought the Season All closer to see if he wanted to put some of that in. He said "What do you want me to do with that?"
"sprinkle some on the chicken"
"Why?"
"because it tastes good"
"I don't want to have all my food taste like Season All"



well Hmmf!!! SORRRRRRRRY!!!
I got kind of offended because I use it in a lot of my stuff. (mainly because its easy and tasty and I'm not that good at cooking) But I try not to make it smell and taste exactly like season all. I'd like to think I add more flavor to my foods than that. Recently I've had nothing but bad luck with the food I've cooked. Maybe that's why I got offended yesterday. Its a pretty sensitive subject for me. The last few things I've tried cooking were big failures in my book.

I know that he CAN read this but I don't really care. It was no big deal. I'm pretty sure he knew he offended me. I'm not bringing any new info to the table where he's concerned. He knew. He knows me.

I told him about the gift idea and he read my blog and I told him I didn't really want a gift (which is true). I mean, he's already doing a day trip to the beach with me which I know he's not a fan of because its a 2-3 hour drive. and I know he wants a new kitty too so it shouldn't be a gift to ME when we both want it. Plus with the new things we are about to spend a lot of money on, I know we can't really afford much else. But we're thinking in the next few weeks we'll add that new addition to the home front! I can't wait!

....I like the name Bert.

I just went through one awful sales meeting this afternoon and in 20 minutes, I will be going into ANOTHER stupid, boring, useless meeting.

Actually, this meeting is LESS useless than the one earlier today....but I still don't like it.

My parents are coming over for dinner this evening. It makes me feel so grown up!
Its so crazy how much my life has changed in the past seven months.
it started out rough but its turning out to be such a great year!! ^_^

I keep changing my mind on what I want to do for my birthday....its about a month and a week away. I am turning the big 2-1.
At first I told scott that I wanted to go away....but I couldn't decide on where....
now I decided that we can't afford to go away so I want a gift....specifically, a kitten....

But I don't think I want to TELL Scott what I want for my birthday...its almost like, I wanna see what he'd get me without my suggesting what I want. haha. Like a test of sorts. I know that sounds kind of bad but I can't help but be a little curious to see what he would get that came from his own ideas.
Besides....I don't like telling people to get me things...he doesn't even HAVE To get me anything as long as we celebrate it in some way.

haha. i'm pretty sure I'm driving him insane about it. I'm really trying not to. (I promise)

anyway....I've got ten minutes until the meeting starts....I better go prep. (bathroom break)
