im not really sure where this post is going.. so random events.


-frustrated that i searched like an hour for parking
-glad that my first day of classes went well
-flattered that an innocent sophomore hit on me
(and spent a half hour helping me find a class)
-happy that an og friend has moved to sd
-delighted that i ate at ra sushi today
-frightened at the thought of having to be somewhere at 11am
-excited that my professor's name is fabio

i had one drink last night and freaked out..just by the mere suggestion of me "not being ok" (but im fine now =)

i love love love my friends and the way they make me feel good and happy and better and how they can manage to get me excited about everything!.. like bigger-than-your-head sized pumpkin pancakes

as much as i hate pulling a jamesy, i think the florida trip for this summer is canceled, as of right now.. its an awful feeling knowing that you messed up people's plans, or disappointed them, inconvenienced them, etc... but i just cant this time.. IMSORRY

so in this past month, ive had strep throat twice!! its ok, its all over now! or at least in the process=)

i had my first midterm for physiology today and i feel soo good about it =) my summer is going well..

in about one week. (omg) im out of costa verde! its gonna be weird.. not seeing my roomies (at least the normal ones) everyday..and coming to la jolla, and everything.. this is the only place ive lived in sd..im kinda anxious about what it will be like living at my new place, but i <3 my new roomies, so i have faith =)

this week has been kind of cool because kat and sharon have been pulling all-nighters everynight of the week and we come out every hour and eat or just pick on each other. hehe

the life! sigh.. =)

so we went to rosarito last week for hoa's bday..
i <3 rosarito
went to a buffet
had drinks on the beach while "maria" braided our hair..corn row style
spilled drinks on myself
ate crepes
stocked up on tamarind candy
and mexican pastries
"yum-o"
annnd..the best part was taking the braids out and watching the hair go..POOF!

then..sick for a week..=(

and yesterday, for memorial day, TECATE!

why do i like going to mexico so much?

im really inspired by how well people can write..not like essays and stuff, which is also quite impressive, but write about themselves, like how they can convey thoughts and emotions so well, you feel as tho you're in their mind..

anyway, i had 4 finals and a paper due today, one final was a take home one, which was kinda sad cause my prof was getting surgery again, and the paper.. well that was "taken care of" wink wink, nudge nudge, as far as the other 3 tests.. well they were surprisingly difficult. im not upset that i dont feel super good about them..im just relieved they are OVER! now just 2 more finals, and a project.. whats hard is trying to plan my friend's bday which is coming up in..very soon, but itll be fun.. come monday ill be a free woman, and come wednesday ill be digging my toes in the sand at rosarito.. cant wait =D
