6/20 - My cousin Jen came from VA. (: Jimlyn and Angela came to my house to hang out around 9:30pm till 1ish.
6/21 - FATHER'S DAY! Went to church with the familia and had lunch at Claim Jumpers. Ended up going home and then my cousin Jen came over to see the house. Later I ended up going with her to my Aunt's house not seeing all of them since Thanksgiving. ): Hahah. So I got to spend a good amount of time seeing everyone again. Went home around 10:30ish. Got a call from Jims to go with her to take Steph to Carpinteria. After that we all went to the beach to hang and talk then got home at 3:30am.
6/22 - Our dog Girly had her puppies!!!!! (: 9 total, but one died. ): It was a boy. Oh well, 8 is still good enough. 4 boys and 4 girls! It took about 3 and half hours for them all to come out. good thing my dad took a day off work or I'd be doing that all by myself haha.
6/23 - Sleepless night due to the fact I was babysitting the puppies all night making sure our doggy doesn't crush any of them. Haha. Got the portable heater out so they wouldn't be too cold. Then around the evening I hung out with my cousin and took her to Northridge, Topanga, and then had dinner in Thousand Oaks. Got my package from TuanAnh. (: Mae's new CD signed by all of them. Thanks 2non, you're amazing! I love it.
6/24 - Puppies are 2 days old. (: We named a few.. Rufus, Biggie, Mocha, and Kalea! I don't think we get to keep them all though. I wish, hahah! I'll be sad when we give them away. ): Boo, I don't want to think about it. Pretty much stayed home today and hung out with the puppies. I think that's how my entire week will be.. pretty much.

Recent events have got me thinking about my friendships...
Lying is probably the biggest pet peeve I have. Yeah we all do it, but everyone draws a line at some point. I can brush it off at times depending on the lie.. it's whatever, but when it comes to it being a constant habit, especially when you lie about the dumbest things, then it just gets plain ANNOYING. It adds up! The worst thing about it is not even being able to admit to it when you're confronted. Gosh, grow up!
So now comes in the boy cried wolf thing, blame yourself if people don't believe you and don't be mad that they don't. It's YOUR fault and partially mine since I've stuck with it for this long. My bad that I assumed that by being open and honest and talking to you about it, you would change... boy was I wrong!
Which brings me to another point. I'm DONE! No point in trying to be friends with someone who doesn't have the common decency to be straight up with you. There's NO POINT in being friends with someone who doesn't trust you and are afraid your "judgements" towards them because..
Your real friends won't judge you. Your real friends will be honest. Your real friends will be there even when it turns out you're wrong. So if you can't realize that, or that just bites you in the ass, then they're not your real friends. You move on!
There just comes a point in time where you learn to let things go. I'm not angry, just annoyed. But knowing me, just give me a few minutes and I let it go. I'm not the type to hold grudges and I don't get all emotional. I don't feel the need to be upset for a long period of time and venting makes me feel 100x better! Hahaha..
But yeah, you were a cool friend, fun being around, easy to talk to, but because of your insecurities you lacked faith in me to be a good friend to you and how is that fair? "Treat others the way you want to be treated."
Friendships don't last forever. People change, they grow apart, move away, have a falling out, the list goes on! But we manage to always somehow keep the good ones by our side even if we don't happen to talk to them everyday. Friends come and go all the time and it takes time to realize if they were "real" friends to begin with.
But I'm lucky to have the different kinds of friends in my life, that includes the old ones and people who were once my friend and aren't anymore. As corny as it sounds, I probably wouldn't be who I am to this day without ALL those people in my life. Good or bad influence, haha! Those people make you realize the person you've become and who you want to be and for that I am grateful. (:
