Recent events have got me thinking about my friendships...

Lying is probably the biggest pet peeve I have. Yeah we all do it, but everyone draws a line at some point. I can brush it off at times depending on the lie.. it's whatever, but when it comes to it being a constant habit, especially when you lie about the dumbest things, then it just gets plain ANNOYING. It adds up! The worst thing about it is not even being able to admit to it when you're confronted. Gosh, grow up!

So now comes in the boy cried wolf thing, blame yourself if people don't believe you and don't be mad that they don't. It's YOUR fault and partially mine since I've stuck with it for this long. My bad that I assumed that by being open and honest and talking to you about it, you would change... boy was I wrong!

Which brings me to another point. I'm DONE! No point in trying to be friends with someone who doesn't have the common decency to be straight up with you. There's NO POINT in being friends with someone who doesn't trust you and are afraid your "judgements" towards them because..

Your real friends won't judge you. Your real friends will be honest. Your real friends will be there even when it turns out you're wrong. So if you can't realize that, or that just bites you in the ass, then they're not your real friends. You move on!

There just comes a point in time where you learn to let things go. I'm not angry, just annoyed. But knowing me, just give me a few minutes and I let it go. I'm not the type to hold grudges and I don't get all emotional. I don't feel the need to be upset for a long period of time and venting makes me feel 100x better! Hahaha..

But yeah, you were a cool friend, fun being around, easy to talk to, but because of your insecurities you lacked faith in me to be a good friend to you and how is that fair? "Treat others the way you want to be treated."

Friendships don't last forever. People change, they grow apart, move away, have a falling out, the list goes on! But we manage to always somehow keep the good ones by our side even if we don't happen to talk to them everyday. Friends come and go all the time and it takes time to realize if they were "real" friends to begin with.

But I'm lucky to have the different kinds of friends in my life, that includes the old ones and people who were once my friend and aren't anymore. As corny as it sounds, I probably wouldn't be who I am to this day without ALL those people in my life. Good or bad influence, haha! Those people make you realize the person you've become and who you want to be and for that I am grateful. (:

So I pretty much stayed in bed till 12 this afternoon. Then just for the heck of it, I went to Walgreens and bought hair dye to dye my hair lighter. So I got that done as soon as I got home. The color didn't turn out as light as I had hoped, but it is definitely lighter. I have black, super dark brown hair. Now my hair is just brown. Idk how to explain cause there's so many different browns. Haha, I don't even want to get into that.

Afterwards I went over to my cousins and then we went to the bike store to go get his bike. We stayed there for about an hour and then when we were leaving my cousin left his keys on the gap part of the trunk and ended up getting it stuck. So I had to squeeze my fingers through the gap cause the handle was jammed and luckily I was strong enough to pull that shit out. Haha.

When we got home, I rode my bike around and then just called it a day. Prety much have just been watching Pushing Daisies. They make me want to eat pie whenever I watch it. Haha. Now I'm pretty much just getting ready for bed.

My head has been hurting for a while now. So I've just been laying down. I seriously don't want to move. ):

So another weekend over, back to manic mondays!...

Let's see, I didn't do much on Saturday. Stayed at home for the most part and bummed it in my room. Around 9pm Jims came and got me to go to Jenny's parents house since they were throwing a party. The party was sufficiently awkward. Lots of younger people and people I just don't see around much anymore. Left the party with Jims around 11 then went to meet up with Lady and Rudy at another party. Hung out there for about 15 minutes and then went to go hang with Steph since she needed a little pick me up. (:

Left her house at 6am and just spent that entire time talking about boys and the future. Lots of new insights and basically a refreshed appreciation of what such great friends I have.

Got dropped off at home and went right to sleep. Woke up at 12 this afternoon and alone at home. My family came home around 3pm and then we all watched the game at 5. GOOD GAME, even though the Magics lost. ): They could've won it if Lee made that last lay up. Would've been a much more awesome game! Hahaha.

So pretty much after the game I talked to few people and then took a shower and just started watching tv. Got something quick to eat not too long ago cause I didn't eat dinner earlier and now I'm just catching up on my day with NuTang.
