Today was my very first day of attending jury duty. I came at 8AM, but I was like 5 minutes late because I didn't wake up early enough and there were slow drivers, but it was totally nothing. I found myself in a room of roughly 200 older people. From the looks of people I think there were only about 5 people within my age range.


I ended up sitting at this table with 4 older people. I felt like I was surrounded by teachers! Ha. I probably took about 7 naps that whole day, just resting my head on my anatomy book. I brought my laptop and listened to music for a bit. I was sad I didn't bring any movies to watch. That would've made everything 10x better. I stayed in that jury room the WHOLE time. I didn't feel like walking around or doing anything during breaks.


I seriously recommend going to jury duty with someone you know. As if by chance you know someone who is supposed to have jury duty also, preschedule it on the same day! It sucks not having anyone to talk to. As for myself, I wasn't in any mood to make any friends. So I was quiet for the most part.


We got out early though! Yeah, an hour early. Hahah. My name didn't get called for any panel, but it's cool. We got out at 4PM and it took forever to leave the parking lot of the government center.


I'd have to say jury duty doesn't suck all that much. It's boring, but not that bad. I just hate being in a room filled with people I don't know..
