Ha. I was late to school today and they decided to do tardy sweep first period. Ugh just my luck. So I was stuck in the cafeteria and not in my first period class. I heard over 400 people were late today! HAHA.. and i'm one of them! So we're banned from afterschool activities and whatnot. So no dances for me? Hahahah the next 3 they said.. but whatever. I doubt they'll enforce it. Such bitches. [=

Second competition at
Claremont High School - Competitions for Champions? Hahah it was called something like that.
Small Military - 2nd
Hip-Hop - 3rd
All Male - 1st
I must say that I wasn't as
excited for this comp as I was for West Covina's. Maybe because it wasn't a comp we've been to before so we didn't know what to expect, but practice last week was ehh..
less productive. We still had
fun though. The
nervous feeling didn't hit me until we were on deck. Gosh I was scared, but we had an
awesome performance. It felt
great. Narbonne was awesome too.. and they gave us a bag of candy. [= Hahahah. Everyone said we did good and there was a judge
smiling at us. Ha. It was cool.. we got so
many compliments from other coaches and teams. Not just like 2, but
more than that. It
felt great. The
Polytechnic coach I think told us it was a close decision and that he honestly felt like we should win. [= .. but we got
2nd. Which is still good.. out of
5 teams?.. and there were only
2 trophies being given out. Yes!..
another trophy! Hahah I'm
not disappointed that we got 2nd. Narbonne had a dope routine and they were
clean. We only lost by
1 point.. we got an 87.?? and they got an 88.?? .. but still they
deserved it.. not that we don't, but as I said.. I liked the routine. Just the fact that we got so many
compliments out of my 3 years on drill
combined was
enough for me.. for
strangers to actually say that our routine was "
awesome" and that we were "
great" and also that we "
deserved" to win.. ah. It's a
good feeling. Not that I'm tired of our fellow CI squads/friends saying "Good Job".. it's another thing. Either way.. I'm happy. Ha I love it. I'm anticipating practice tomorrow. [= I
