I am reading this right now http://www.nutang.com/numazon/0765340771/The+Butlerian+Jihad+%28Legends+of+Dune%2C+Book+1%29/ I would have provided you an image if I could but The thingy is broken (as usual) I am actually not enjoying this book. It's very predictable and I can't relate to charecters this stupid. I enjoyed the Origianl dune and Dune Messiaha, but the charecters in Jihad are very shallow, uncomplicated and predictable, Unlike the dynamic and stirring charecters in Herbert Seniors work. Jihad also lacks the subtley, intracasy and detailed ambiance of the Seniors work. What I am enjoying is reading about the "thinking machines" empire. Machines can be creative btw. It's just too dumb.Herbert Junior should have spent a little more time on this one. But hey it's here and features creepy robots and cyborgs so I shant complain. thoughts
I like strategey games especially ones where I can drop my troops to any position on the globe from orbit. And especially when I'm the only one with the technology to do it. And of courses, I Usually keep a strangle hold on this technology because I'm bombarding the hell out of everyone else. Thats right folks, I'm a fan of planatery conquest and invasion. I like working my way down penisulas, and literally driving my enemys into the sea with firepower at least two hundred years ahead of anyone elses. If I need help I will give one of my neighbors usefull technology so they can watch my back while I concentrate on keeping the fight going.  | master of the elipse... I would go more into it, but posting about it online was the reason I had to quit to begin with. :-) anyhow I was very happy to see everybody. And I was there waiting for some very important college porgram people and talking to my best freind on the phone when said important college people showed up... and that is when I hung up on my best freind... withouth saying goodbye... That was fairly akward because I got a phone call almost immedeately and I felt really guilty. I called back several times, with no response... but I guese it will be okay ... she is my b est freind after all. Comment! (1) | Recommend! From my German class Tuesday. 1.31.06 10:45 pm Go Team Patrick!!! It wasn't my idea to name the team after me, but one of my class mates wanted me to be the masscot. I kept suggesting team snitzelbach. and all the other teams had german names.. like team Auslanderhass *(hatred of foreigenrs) or team Mannschaft Ausgezeichnet (team excellent) but no we got stuck with a team of my own name sake. We one the "game" which was an review for the exam against the two other teams. our final score was 12 and the closest the other teams got was a score of seven. And of course, since I was the masscot I had to act out all the sharade problems. new t -shirt idea : Hass der Ausländer (translates: Hate the foreigner) That makes for akward conversation Comment!
