I am having the HARDEST time with finding something that will convert my avi files to swf. I thought I found one, but when I played the video the audio was faster then the video. I thought I found another one, but the short description on the site I downloaded it from lied. They only do swf to avi conversion. I'd also like to know why the hell can't a program that's made for swf to avi can't work the other way around???

Most of the ones I've tried have all had reviews on how great the program is and how easy it is to use. Most don't work or they only handle reallllly small file sizes. Even downloaded Flash 8 pro trial in hopes to find a way that could make my vids into swf, but of course it can't.

This whole process has been really frustrating the crap out of me. You'd think it'd be somewhat easy. I will not give up though! I WILL find a program even if it takes me a few months. There HAS to be something out there for people who have my type of files, codecs, and file sizes. I don't mind having to split some files into 2 parts or something, but I don't want to have to split it into too many videos. If anyone knows of a avi to swf converter that works for files up to 350 MB and uses the typical anime and Asian drama codecs can you please leave me a tag or comment?

Sayumi gave me a link to a site that hosts videos and anime online. I'd give the link, but I found the site rather disturbing. All videos are low quality and in order to use options like full screen, download or have high quality videos you have to PAY! I found some great series though and am thinking about paying for a week and downloading them all to host. I'm very sure that person did not do all of the subbing and work that's put into giving series subs. It's wrong to make people pay for nice videos. On the bright side Sayumi is going to look into what that person uses to host it online.

So today is my birthday. Oddly enough I'm not really excited about it. Well I am in some ways, like finding out what SnS Group has in store for the releases and what was written in my birthday release thread since I was told I couldn't read it until my birthday. THEN right before I was going to go to bed Suke told me I had to wait until they posted their release thread on the forum!! I know very ebil huh huh? I've been dying for almost a month to see what was going on!! Sayumi gave me my first gift which was changing the first page for Animanga Network to show a very hot and steamy Jun…half naked of course which makes it just that much better! Like my new avy?? Suke made it for me. Isn't Jun just so yummy looking?? She made me four other ones I can use as well. I've gotten a lot of Jun gifts today!! Pa-lua put him in a box for me, don't worry I poked holes so he won't die on me. I've been getting a lot of birthday wishes and cards which has also been very nice.

So what is my boyfriend getting me? Nothing. We'll go out to eat and have a nice time, but otherwise we're so close to getting a computer (he's picking out the parts) that I don't want him to spend money on a gift. My mom was going to get me an espresso machine, but I've changed my mind. I want lot of manga, yaoi and melon & an pan!! YUMMM!! We've been saving for a new computer so I haven't been able to buy any manga in such a long time so knowing I can buy a lot will be just great! I plan on buying it tonight! I'm thinking of getting a lot of Kimi wa Petto, some Our Kingdom if more is out and possibly a series called Embracing Love. It's by the wonderful Nitta and I just loooove the series. It was licensed before EoP could finish the series PLUS there's an anime of it!! I doubt I can get everything, but I REALLLY want Embracing Love. I only have so much to spend and I have to make it count! I wonder how much they cut out of the anime for the series since it's for the US.

I still have a lot to do for Animanga's update today. It's my birthday so I'm doing a yaoi only update! XD I'm also trying to figure out flash and trying out programs to convert our avi and rm files into swf files. Right now I've tried out 6 programs and none of them have worked out well, but that's another blog. TTFN!

Edit: Well I spoke to my mommy and she said she'd give me 150 bucks to spend on manga and snacks! I'm thinking of saving part of that to pay for the cost of a convertor…provided I can actually find one that can handle xvid codecs and actually works. I'm so happy!! Suke put up my bishie, which of course is a picture of Jun. I can't help, but smile each time I saw it. I think she took my post the wrong way since her reply doesn't make much sense to what mine was about. I was talking about SnS members no longer being vultures about the custom bishies and how there was still one left a month later. Her reply made it seem like I was saying something about how slow the May bishies were to be put up. Bleh, I'll fix that misunderstanding later.

Since almost everyone I work with is at a convention in Las Vegas some of them called before my lunch to sing happy birthday to me! It was very nice of them and I couldn't help, but laugh. They are very silly and fun to be around.

Another reason to be glad about my birthday is Cold Stone Creamery. They sent me a free birthday coupon that's good for up to 2 weeks to use! It's a "Love it" size which is their middle size...a very nice size. I'm not sure when I'll be using it, but I'm sure it will be soonish!
